That is awesome! Ever since I watched the videos of you chasing 30lbs of smallmouth up there, I am just in awe of the average size of the fish and how beautiful the landscape is with the clear water and the feeling that you are out in the middle of nowhere. I have a feeling I will fish in that area someday. Hopefully in the future.

Just wanted to give Ben a shout out. Last year before he had any coaching service, he gave me great help in breaking down a couple lakes and steering me towards what to look for. Not giving me spots, but helping me understand what patterns should be occurring to give me a starting point. If you need some help, give him a shot.

We’ve been at the RUclips thing since 2013, and had incredible opportunities because of it, and I’m just ready to re-double down and really do what I know I’m capable of. This year should be fun and I’m hoping this reignited passion from last year can help propel the motivation into recommitment.

Are you me, or am I you? 😂 I loved watching this, it was weird in a good way because literally everything you said about the goals and mental aspect behind it all is exactly the same decisions I've made, around the exact same conversations I've had with my closest friend. 2024 is an incredibly important year for me and the channel because of where I'm at in life and with my career. There's hopes and dreams that are tempered and challenged by obligations and bills to be paid. We'll see how it all shakes out. You're already in such a great spot and you've clearly done the work to help get the focus and perspective in the best place possible to make the most of your potential. I wish you the best for this year and beyond man. You're a good person who's down to earth, charismatic and easy to relate to. Be you, enjoy the process and challenge of putting what you can into the channel, and make the most of every opportunity you can!
I resonate with your comment so so much man. There are so many changes happening in life and also a huge commitment we feel as anglers/“RUclipsrs.” I think its going to be a make or break year where we can really push ourselves and validate our thoughts one way or another. Glad to hear your working on different things. Every time I see that champion I get melancholy, had 4 of them. Do what you have to do for your family and your lifestyle. Over the years I've had to slow down on the fishing thing to raise kids and work. The team thing is a cool deal.
I definitely don’t see it as a change so much as a diversification of the content you’re providing. You’ve been a huge inspiration already to so many of us and I look forward to being here for the changes and sharing with this community. Thanks for letting us be a part of it!

I'd like a lake breakdown, then on the water fishing, then recap. so full circle of your trip. I also love all smallmouth content in general. Be nice if you showcased certain rods/reels as well and talked about the products, such as why they are good for the technique you're using and what you like about the products. Jerkbait videos are awesome.

@@michaellamb1342 thank you so so much. It was easy to get disconnected and discouraged seeing what pro fishing is evolving into at times. I got to reconnect to my passion for the sport this year going to the older Champion and it made me really enjoy it again
