    Footnote:
This is The Fortunes featuring lead vocal from Rod Allen, performing a Country number “I Can’t Believe It’s Over”. Composed by Roger Greenaway, and produced with Geoff Stephens, with musical arrangements by Lew Warburton (tbc). Released on 45 via Roger Greenaway’s Target Record label way back in 1977. The song was also produced by Roger on 45 for The Drifters again in 1977. These two releases were sentimental recordings, they were to be the last songs produced by Roger Greenaway for the artists. The song was also released in 1978 on 45 by Michael Troy, and produced by Billy Davies. Over the years The Fortunes have recorded at least 50 associated songs with Cook and Greenaway.
