- 16 boat dives and one shore dive from Reethi Faru Island Resort in the Raa Atoll, Maldives February 2023. 80 minutes of underwater video from the Indian Ocean, set to relaxing music.

Absolutely beautiful! Love the underwater scenery!
We're looking into going to the same resort, but unfortunately we can't do diving. Would you say it's a good resort to do snorkeling there as we can do that? Or any recommendations for other resorts? (or local islands if you've tried any? As we will also stay outside resort to try both worlds)
We didn’t snorkel there but lots of people did. The ones we have stayed on that are very good for snorkelling are Embudu (South Male Atoll)or Vilamendhoo (South Ari Atoll). More chance of snorkel with manta rays and possibly whale sharks in Vilamendhoo. Haven’t stayed on a local island so can’t help you with that!

If you'd have a chance to dive, which resort you'd pick with best options? We're going in December.

@@grazyna4134 I’d pick Vilamendhoo because it’s mid price range, has a good house reef for diving and snorkelling, and is within an hours boat ride to manta rays and if you’re really lucky a Whaleshark. THere are snorkelling trips to mantas and whalesharks. There are a few videos on my RUclips channel from Vilamendhoo in the South Ari Atoll so you could have a look. The last one was called ‘Explore the coral reefs of the South Ari Atoll, and the one before that was called Amazing diving and snorkelling from Vilamendhoo . Good luck with choosing!
Hi. What is the name of this dive site?We plan to go to Raa Atoll in March but want to check first about the name of the beautiful dive site. Some resort have their own list. Thx
We were staying at Reethi Faru Island resort and dived a variety of dive sites within a 45 minute dhoni ride. Different resorts have different names for the same dive site!

Lots of fish, but the coral coverage looks a bit sparse and the reefs not that healthy overall.
It varied from dive site to dive site. The soft corals in many of the overhangs were beautiful. Hard corals varied!
