Not that long ago, I received a request for a video on hitting the triangle as a big guy without getting stacked, and frankly there are a few principles that anyone can use to finish more triangle regardless of their size. In this video, you'll learn a few.

Thank you! I'm 150 pounds and always getting stacked by bigger guys.

As a dude with a 29 inseam, this helped me finish triangles better than the Ryan Hall and Danaher sets. I barely triangled anyone for 10 years because I didn't think it was worth it, especially with the big guys that bait it in order to pass. The diamond shut all that down. Thanks bro

This video has opened my mind more to triangles. I get them quite often but a lot of the time they aren't tight enough with the standard setups so I resort arm bars, oma ect.. Thanks for the video man. I love the content

Like the 💎 concept. For now, I’m just shooting for the 💎 and I’ll work in finishing later. Thanks Kenneth.

Awesome man!!! Thank you so much. I haven't conceptualized the diamond before. Thank you for that. I will see how this works for me as a BIG GUY. I rarely even shoot the triangle because im a big guy being stacked by big guys. Hopefully that's about to change! Thanks again dude. You rock. Your moves got featured again on BJJ and BS on Facebook btw.

Sick, Is the reason the triangle is easier than the diamond to break out of because your knee is in the way of his head sliding out the side?
I have a very small gap between my legs so triangles aren't really high percentage unless the guy has a super skinny neck

Oh man. Wim deputter mentioned this. He calls his system the mirroring principle
You don't want to be the first or last one in that middle target area. You want to incentivize the opponent to give you that angle and you can trap them with it

The answer is always 'it depends' in such what if scenarios, but the omoplata is highly possible.
