It's such a trippy experience. I'm only just out of high school but I remember having anti-smoking campaigns drilled into us from an early age (RIP Terry). Because of that, the majority of my peers would reject any offer made for a quick smoke of a cig. It was a no-brainer. Then comes along vapes. I don't know if it's the flashy colours, flavours and the status that comes with them, but it took hold of everyone. All of a sudden I'm surrounded by friends and peers vaping in and out of school like it was the new oxygen. In one of my classes, a few of my friends who I always considered to be somewhat sensible would pull out their vapes and smoke them whenever the teacher had their back to us. And at lunch and recess, in every corner there was a kid with a vape. Parties and night clubs at the university level, and it's even more common. And I still see it in kids far younger than I was when I was first exposed. It's become so normalised in spite of anti-smoking being common knowledge. What a strange world we live in.
Bro kids smoke cigarettes before vape was thing nothing change cause kids start vaping not because they want to try banana and strabbery flavour is just kids want to experience new things like smoking weeds nothing change
"the status that comes with them" you mean the status of being an absolute R*T*RD and buying a disposable vape that probably has some 3rd world countrys sewage in it? I remember when vapes were a thing people put effort into, they'd buy speccific tanks, mods, coils, research what gives the best results for what juice or oil you wanted, people would actually pay attention to what they were smoking, now its just 12 year olds with less than half a brain acting like crack addicts for some mystery juice packed into a cheaply made fire hazard.
I used to smoke before i started vaping and now it kinda goes hand in hand, like i rlly miss smoking a shit ton but vaping already got the nic (plus let’s be fr vapes are a little less pricey than cigs.)
I was vaping since highschool, thats about 6 years… I’m almost a month off vaping now just because I didn’t want a stick to dictate my life. When I didnt have one or mine would die, I’d be mad. I realized that’s addiction and made the decision to cut it off, especially since I’ve told myself time and time again it was my last. I finally did it.
same but I'm still trying to quit right now, its hard because ive been doing it since year 8 and im currently year 10. i dont want to get addicted because i like my lungs
Do teachers not pull them up on it? I go to an Australian private school, if caught with vapes you're looking at being suspended/expelled depending on your record
same bro im indian and its not even my parents would beat me its just how disappointed i would make them if i did something so bad againest my religion and morals
I started vaping and smoking cigarettes since my teenage, spent my whole life fighting Cigarettes and Vape addiction. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges.
Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health.
I'm really happy for you that your friend decided to help you...I hear about alot of family members or so called friends shutting an addict out of their life, which since most addicts do it to mask emotions to me is the worse thing someone can do to an addict.
I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
I live in Perth Australia, I was working in the industry years ago, before these disposable pieces of crap came along and wrecked all the hard work 1000's of decent family types had put in to create a safe and highly regulated product to help people find an alternative to smoking. We imported devices that had to pass strict government regulations, all retail guidelines were followed. Juice producers had to be licensed and a code of quality had to be followed that was equal to what would be required to make food for sale, It was all deemed safe and fit for human consumption by the government. The retailers could only sell to over 18s and most vendors were more than happy to abide by this. The tobacco companies fought us constantly but they never got anywhere because we did exactly what the government asked of us........until these shanky lowest of the low quality disposables suddenly flooded the market in the 10s of 1000s... They all somehow managed to make it past customs every day when our products would be singled out, A box containing one mod would get pulled out yet literal shipping containers of these pieces of crap would magically make it past customs and in to the shops like the ones this guy went into, They are tobacconists not traditional vape shops. There was clearly a move to make this happen, one based on intimidation from a very high corporate level and out government buckled under the pressure. There is your expose mate.
Someone in the comments seems to have a brain, vaping is perfectly fine (or atleast about as fine as inhaling something gets) but these things that children are buying to imitate the real thing? they are boxes of poison with a fire hazard embedded in them... Still vape have been for a few years, quit ciggies and i'm healthier than ever, no coughing, no bad breath, can run further than most i know and i don't feel the constant want for nicotine, all thanks to actual vaping, not the imitation that children buy from smoke shops these days. God i really become that old guy shaking his fist...
@@dynavap Thats true, tho that is where education comes in, people need to start getting used to looking up everything listed in their products and understanding them before consuming them and if its clear theres unlisted items then just don't buy the product imo, we don't live in a simple world anymore where not doing that flys. at the end of the day we vote with our wallets for the things that keep us healthy and happy but when we don't understand the things we vote on/buy, thats when we get issues like this where companies keep selling poison and we keep supporting it. "poison me more big company UwU you KNOW i'll never read that label~" Education is key.
Bro kids smoke cigarettes before vape was thing nothing change cause kids start vaping not because they want to try banana and strabbery flavour is just kids want to experience new things like smoking weeds nothing change
@@thatstuffsimple446 Nope, Kids just like to feel cool and like adults, so they go out and buy these little boxes filled with poison and a battery that'll likely cause a fire someday instead of learning how to operate a mod properly and source good juice. Just like how instead of getting good weed from a reputable guy, kids or teens i shouuld say would rather go buy some ditch weed off a junky because its cheaper and easier to access. teens are little idiots that don't know any better most of the time, education wouuld make these issues almost non-existent, look at how many kids smoked ciggies compared to back 20 years... anti smoking campaigns clearly worked somewhat if smoking is down in general.
I’m a year 7 in australia and there are vapes everywhere, I see kids do it in the bathrooms, even in class when the teacher isn’t looking. I just hope that that they stop because it could affect their lives forever. My nan told me that she had never touched a smoke and I want to do the same, including the vapes, the Australian government needs to deal with this way faster and pay more attention to it. We are killing half of our generation.
Vapes came in when I was in year 9 of highschool. I’d say around 70% of my grade got into it. Crazy how many 15-16 year olds formed nicotine addictions to the point of serious withdrawals when they didn’t have one. I feel like half my generation is just gonna collapse in 20 years from the long term side effects
Jamie, thank you so much for making this video! It's really very nice and responsible of you to bring this awareness to all of us, especially to the youth! Thanks for being a positive force of change! Take care, too brother!!!
In Finland, all the flavorings are banned because they are the most toxic part of it. They sell VG/PG bottles and nicotine liquid separate, you have to mix it together yourself, therefore you know exactly what you're inhaling. Smoking/vaping or putting anything foreign in to your lungs won't be good for you anyway but the less chemicals the less harmful for sure.
yeah... see teens here in AUS generallyy arent that smart, they'd rather buy the poison disposable vape that got shipped in from a third world country that most likely contains some guys gutter droppings mixxed with some oil. Vape from a mod and will never try or have a disposable one ever, Hell when i catch my friends with them i just straight up tell them they are probably smoking indian gutter feces through that plastic shitbox for all they know.
You really shouldn't call it a deep dive, when you are just wading in shallow water. Investigating takes a lot more than snooping around shops and asking random people on the street who think they know more than the doctors in England or New Zealand. If you are really interested and sincere in investigating, please also talk to shops that specialize in vapes. Vaping isn't the real problem. It's those disposable vapes that have higher nicotine salts. The problem is education and regulation. Convenience stores shouldn't be selling them. Other comments on here have explained that.
What you said is correct but this is the state of the internet, using sensationalism and superlatives to gain attention to their videos. Unfortunately this seems like the future and it will only get worse. Really not much correcting Jamie Zhu they won't listen because they would lose views = less income for them to make youtube videos
Yeah there was absolutely nothing deep about this 'deep dive', and I hope he knows that and just used the term as clickbait, rather than genuinely believing this actually was a deep dive. This was a brief bit of information with some vox pops. Which is fine, it is what it is, but I would hope people would at least call it what it is. This is not deep, it's not even a dive, it's just an arvo chatting to people on the streets, who also don't know much about the subject.
@@dynavap yea they are banning vapes, but cigarettes can still be sold as normal. If you do your research you will see that vapes are not as bad as you think, the problem is disposable vapes which are not regulated. They have too much nic and who knows what other bad stuff that are not even written anywhere. Just look at other facts, there are millions of people dying from smoking every year and not much from vaping ( if even there is from a regulated mod with regulated juice) and they are banning vapes and shit but cigarettes are still not even touched. This just shows that there is something that is not right.
I’m so glad I quit vaping. A way I quit vaping, was I never went cold turkey to start off with. When I was highly addicted I’d probably buy 2 vapes a week or just whenever the sweet flavour started to die out. When I was on my quitting journey it took me so much attempts and I soon learnt that going cold turkey off vapes wasn’t the answer for myself, I just craved it 100% more. So I started minimising my intake like one vape to last me a week, then gradually that one vape started to last me longer. Distracting myself by gyming. Making videos of myself talking about my journey Even struggled with sleep when I was quitting, started eating more and I was sweating, like I was coming off drugs or something. I knew it wasn’t temporary, so I got through it. I quit second week of the beginning of 2023 and we’re almost towards the end of the year! If I can quit vaping, you can quit vaping too!
i remember seeing a friend (who was like 15) just walk into a store and buy a vape, no questions asked i was just shocked at how easy it is to get your hands on them
Great can I see some evidence for this stroke? Or anything from her in hospital? i have never seen a single medical report in any of this videos, of course vaping isn’t safe but if this is such an issue, you’d think people would provide the evidence
I agree random shots of people in hospitals, visual click bait. Entrapment tricking stores untill they could get one. Where are both sides?? This is every parents dream video whose kid is vainglorious but what about the adults??? Adults shouldn't be punished because other adults aren't paying close enough attention to their kids. Of coarse kids shouldn't smoke, drink etc but doesn't mean the answer is alcopops tax or to make all alcohol taste like dirt so kids don't want it, this is silly. These is click bait.
its complete made up anecdotal bullshit, shes blaming her past use of dirty bongs/meth pipes on vapes I bet. Not even disposables will give you a stroke -_-
You don't see any evidence because there is none, if they had it then it would be all over the news just like when they thought they had something in the US, it turned out that was a big hoax and they were not vaping regulated nicotine products but illegal cannabis products cut with vitamin E liquid, I started vaping 5 years ago to quit smoking, I have reduced the nicotine dose down to the minimum available 3mg/100ml, I recently travelled to Aus and heard about the ban so I left my vape behind thinking I would have trouble taking it through customs, I was there for nearly a week and had no withdrawals at all, which surprised me as when I was smoking there was no way I could go even a day without cigarettes without suffering major symptoms. I should probably stop vaping but I enjoy it and other than cotton mouth have experienced no side effects but then my anecdotal evidence can't compare to the anecdotal evidence of people who claim to know someone who has severe health problems from vaping despite not one shred of evidence that this is true. I agree that these should not be sold to kids and anyone who does not have a nicotine addiction is a fool to take up vaping or smoking just to look cool.
The flavors they use are food grade, they are exactly the same that are used for candy, ice cream, drinks etc. they have been deemed safe for in some cases nearly a century, the only harmful compound contained in vape juices is the nicotine which has about the same toxicity as coffee and tea@@dynavap
When you eat you also inhale but why listen to experts when we have people who just make stuff up to take advice from@@dynavapedit I forgot to add emojis to make myself appear cool 😂
It’s crazy because I saw the rise of vapes in school, and after graduating I see it out in the streets. Everyone would just go to the bathrooms and do it. I did warn them a few times, but I never told the teachers directly bc I didn’t want to be the snitch 😭 and literally 3 weeks ago a boy (looked around 10) on the bus was boasting about his vape habit and how he needs a new one. Really sad stuff. Edit: and he had a raspy as voice
I agree the disposables are a massive issue and harmful, but, when people say 'vaping is as bad as cigarettes' ' it's just wrong and incorrect... There are 2 types of vaping, DIY and disposables, DIY is in no way comparable to smoking cigs, disposables CAN have similar additives like formaldehyde and metals because of the mass production and price cutting (still no tar, so instantly better than inhaling combusted plant material). yet if you are mixing your juice yourself on a diy mod (with food safety rated flavoring/pg and vg and a prescription for nicotine) it is not comparable whatsoever to cigarettes. Disposables are causing such an issue for those who actually use vaping as a quit method rather than a trend... Disposables honestly aren't even vapes, they are electronic inhalers... people need to get educated
disposables are very very very different, main concern being the cheap production and storage of the cotton/bulk liquids, never with lab reports, formaldehyde is used to preserve and heavy metals can be found from the vats/drums they store in... Buying food grade PG/VG and making DIY avoids all this, as those products come with lab results. It's not a comparison to tobacco, it's just a known fact that inhalation of formaldehyde can cause cancer and infertility. It's a preserving agent. Whilst vaping genuine food safe ingredients cannot cause cancer, nicotine has been proven to not cause cancer, it's about as harmful on the heart as caffeine in high doses. Can OD as easily on nicotine as you can anhydrous caffeine. Not comparing to cigs, as cigs don't have heavy metals since they aren't a liquid. Chop chop might because it's often sprayed but not the comparison im making. Just stating why there is a huge difference between DIY and 'counterfeit' disposables. @@dynavap
Formaldehyde is naturally occurring in small amounts doesn't mean inhaling large amounts is a good thing, it is the cancer causing agent in disposables and cigs? When mentioning Inhalation of heavy metals I don't think you get what was said, it's not from coils lol. Yes coils are made out of metal, but I very clearly said that they have lab tests done on bigger brands, Chinese disposables have no legal liability to do lab reports when pumping out disposables. Nicotine has very minimal risk, you are right there. you have no clue what misinformation is clearly, i'm stating scientific facts with references, it's how evidence is stated and represented. Read any lab report and it will say 'in comparison to...' no more replies from me. @@dynavap
There's a big difference between illegal igets and genuine vaping products people were mainly using before the prescription model, checkout the success New Zealand has had with legal nicotine vaping.
I live in australia and am in highschool (private school) and there are still so many vapes everywhere even though its a private school. for the health of others i hope this ban goes through so no-one has to suffer the consequences.
As an Australian, it is terrible. In middle school, a kid brought a vape out in class, teacher yelled a bunch at the kid. And so much more! I will never in my life vape, NEVER! 1; because I have asthma. 2; because it’s not healthy, omg.
In my grade we have a 'vape dealer' and it's crazy to see how casually him and his friends go about dealing vapes and letting other people use it, a lot of the kids in my year and younger years vape, it's sad to see. This one time I was sitting outside the gym and I saw a girl trying to ask a guy to let her use his vape. I hope everyone sees how dangerous vapes are soon
“So and so hasn’t been fully studied yet” was the argument big tobacco used to claim smoking was not bad for you, now they use the same argument to smear a competitor.
Vapes have nicotine salt, which is significantly more addictive than smoking. Also, you can literally vape 24/7, unlike smoking where you have to go outside in the cold every hour to give yourself cancer. I quit smoking 10 years ago, and I feel sorry for the agony kids will have to go through trying to quit vaping...
Such a dumb comment, nicotine is nicotine, cigs are more addictive because of the other chemicals in them, but the nicotine in cigs, salts and freebase are identical. They just act quicker. Cigs are still by far the quickest nicotine absorption rate, more so than salts. And nicotine doesn't cause cancer, tar/formaldehyde can, but that isn't in real vapes...
@@dynavap I am an older vaper and I use only nic salts. I do not have any issues due to it and if anything it is because I am a responsible vaper and educated myself
Not all have salts.. It is not more addictive than cigarettes, nicotine is the addictive substance not the delivery system.. Most people find cigarettes more addictive because of the other ingredients especially while drinking alcohol.

I’m in New Zealand right now at my local high school. People have no shame, they’re doing it in the hallways and in class. It’s a massive issue and I hope New Zealand follows in Australia’s footsteps and bans it
I am a vaper. Been vaping for 9 almost 10 years. If anything it has helped my health then hindered. The main reason we have these issues is due to the fact of the vaping bans in place. If the vape industry was regulated properly this wouldn't be an issue. But no they were like let's ban it all and not look at the studies from the UK about it. That is why we have a black market....
Yes finally, I don’t like vaping but only use my vape for when I feel like a smoke. I managed to make my 30 pack of cigarettes last me 3 weeks! Now I’m almost completely off cigarettes because of my vape. However I only use my vape once a day 💀 It’s sad to see people get hooked on it when they don’t already have an addiction.
I smoked cigarettes for 27 yrs then started vaping... I’ve got sore joints, chest pains , stiff neck just to name a few . I was able to stop smoking easier than vaping , vaping is way harder to stop than cigarettes . Everyone is different and may have different side effects to me . Those aren't vapes at Wynyard station. They're portable chargers. I'll never understand why people vape, it's so sad that it's gotten through to so many younger people as well as the older ones.
I used to vape, and before that I used to smoke. Vaping made my nicotine addiction worse, because you can vape anywhere at all with no need to worry about smell, or having a lighter, or having to smoke a whole cigarette or anything. Wake up briefly middle of the night, take a hit. Sitting on the toilet in the morning, vape. Sneaky hit every few minutes at a kid's birthday party, on the bus/train, while shopping, just any and everywhere you couldn't do the same smoking. You can also get really high concentrations of nicotine, and the flow rate of cheaply made vapes isn't consistent, so you're probably getting way more nicotine than you thought per hit. And who knows what else is in random cheaply made mass-produced vape juice being pumped out of Chinese factories with no regulation or quality control? How those chemicals react to the chemicals in the metals that make up the vape, how they may be denatured by heat etc. Vaping, when all is well (like if you can be assured both your vape and vape juice are safe, unadulterated, functioning, and don't have adverse interactions with each other), is at least safer than cigarettes. But the context it gets placed in makes it far more addictive than cigarettes. And since it's nicotine, it's very addictive. If you don't already smoke and aren't already addicted to nicotine, I just don't see any value in vaping
Great video! I really enjoyed the editing and the journalistic style of the video. A message for anyone reading this, especially those under 18 Don't vape, don't smoke. Your health is incredibly important. And to speak like an Australian, "Don't be a dumb c**t."
The vaping epidemic appears to be more concentrated in the eastern suburbs. I grew up in the western suburbs and I only ever knew of maybe a few kids who actually vaped

stuff like this makes me so grateful to my parents for drilling 'no drugs' and 'no smoking' into me. gonna have a chat with my dad after this so he can know he did a great job! it's really sad to see people from all walks of life, even kids from loving families turning to vapes because of the marketing and seeing their peers vape. the vaping epidemic doesn't discriminate!
@@dynavap That's true! I've noticed that with stricter parents. While my parents are nowhere near perfect, they had a really good philosophy of "I'll give you all the information and you can make the choices" and, "I'll put everything on your plate and you decide what to eat," which is a great parenting method. The interesting factor is that I'm autistic and have rejected all substance use, smoking, partying and whatever peer pressure leads to. I wonder if you're right and I have another poison/addiction l haven't discovered 😂
Big difference between these unregulated and illegal disposable vapes and legit vaping gear with juice that you mix yourself. The disposables have too high a concentration of nicotine(5%) and shoddy hardware. Both are worse than nothing but it's actually been studied a lot. Unfortunately it's still profitable for these tobacconists to sell illegal vapes even with the fine. This is a consequence of poor regulation.
Poor regulation, poor education, insane taxation (on nic produccts) and laziness.... That and teens, as any time they see adults do something, they wanna do it too so when a cheap imitation of it is on the market, they'll buy it if they can. goonbags and cheap wine or certain drugs are a example of that.
Too much regulation really. If not for them being illegal this would have never happened. No one used to sell them within the country because it was cheaper to buy it from overseas. The second it became illegal to import it started being sold everywhere due to it becoming a lucrative profitable commodity that you now don't have to pay taxes on cause they are illegal. They literally made a black market start because they wanted people to smoke again due to their loss taxes
my mum works in ACT Health and her team once confiscated over $1000 worth of vapes. Before the department had them incinerated, they tested a few of them and found chemicals that were extremely harmful to the human body such as formaldehyde. vaping is a horrible thing to do to your body. and because vaping is so new, we don't know the full extent as to what it can do to our bodies in the long run.

@@dynavap there's still not enough research on vapes as a whole to say they're safer than darts, everything preliminary says it's just as bad for your body. Only swapped to cigs so I could quit smoking in general and it's done the trick for me.
Yep, my old workplace, there was a girl who would smoke once in a blue moon, cigarette. Now she vapes all the time. Her mum has struggled with cancer for a long time, and struggled to stop smoking. When I left, she had seemingly successfully stopped, after a huge scare. I just started working there again, and she keeps the vape on her while she works, randomly taking a puff, when at least with cigs, she would have to step outside for a smoke, so tended to do it way less. Its sad to see that struggled so much to get over cigarettes, only to get onto vaping, likely unkowning of its risks..

Yeah, as someone in my mid-20s at drama school, it's pretty disturbing seeing so many of my classmates who are in their late teens/ early 20s caught up in vaping now. They see it as really cool and fun and completely harmless. Which it is not. They don't see the connection to smoking at all. They're still destroying their lungs. It just tastes nicer and there's less research on how bad it is. And now for the first time in a long time smoking rates in younger generations are rising because of vaping. I think they're now banning flavoured vapes (maybe just in NSW?), which I am all for, especially when I read how many vapes that are supposed to be nicotine free aren't, because it's so poorly controlled. Vaping is great for people to quit smoking, but it's also a perfect gateway for teenagers to end up smoking.

Really not much correcting Jamie Zhu they won't listen because they would lose views = less income for them to make youtube videos
this is the truth... vaping as a genuine quit method is not the issue, disposables are the issue...
Making videos of myself talking about my journey
Even struggled with sleep when I was quitting, started eating more and I was sweating, like I was coming off drugs or something. I knew it wasn’t temporary, so I got through it.
I quit second week of the beginning of 2023 and we’re almost towards the end of the year! If I can quit vaping, you can quit vaping too!

I agree random shots of people in hospitals, visual click bait. Entrapment tricking stores untill they could get one. Where are both sides?? This is every parents dream video whose kid is vainglorious but what about the adults??? Adults shouldn't be punished because other adults aren't paying close enough attention to their kids. its complete made up anecdotal bullshit, shes blaming her past use of dirty bongs/meth pipes on vapes I bet.

Read any lab report and it will say 'in comparison to...'

13 year old kids should be outside of Dan Murphy's asking some guy to go buy them a 6 pack of VB, not vaping.

goonbags and cheap wine or certain drugs are a example of that.
@@ianturnbull7ofcourse it is. Any nicotine product without a prescription is a class 4 drug offence
my mum works in ACT Health and her team once confiscated over $1000 worth of vapes. Before the department had them incinerated, they tested a few of them and found chemicals that were extremely harmful to the human body such as formaldehyde. vaping is a horrible thing to do to your body. and because vaping is so new, we don't know the full extent as to what it can do to our bodies in the long run.
@Jamie Zhu, is not just a handsome and attractive vlogger/RUclipsr, but he also cares about what happening in this world. Also, a talented person, a good singer and most of all, a good and loving son. Good job! 👍👋♥️
🫢🫢🫢🥳🥳🥳😊😊😊🤗🤗🤗
Started vaping three years ago, only ended up quitting after reverting back to smoking cigs. If you're a fit person with good cardio, the vapes will ruin that.
@@dynavap there's still not enough research on vapes as a whole to say they're safer than darts, everything preliminary says it's just as bad for your body. My respiratory system felt a lot worse vaping, makes sense when you think about how often and how much you vape. Only swapped to cigs so I could quit smoking in general and it's done the trick for me.
Jamie the investigative reporter 🎉
I’m so happy laws banning flavoured vapes are finally being implemented in Australia
There are literally almost zero health risks from vaping. End of statement. Hard stop. Period. Proven by science.
In year 6, a kid in my class got suspended for smoking in the school toilets, thing Is, I’ll never vape since it’s bad and I have Asthma
Good job, brother. Very useful and practical video to make
Did you notice that the 'vending machine at Wynyard' was power banks and earphones, not vapes..
thank you bro after i watched this video i saw what happened and i understand what will happen so now i am happy living vape free thank you so much bro
3:27 those are portable powerbanks they are selling
Some kid at the skatepark asked me to buy him a vape so I said sure and ran away with the money
Hahahaha community service
Yo skatepark shenanigans go hard fuck yeah
good on ya mate
Even though I’m Australian and live in Victoria I still have only seen 1 person use a vape
go to a school bathroom... and I mean any school. My brother laterally saw someone (who was like 11) vape a few years ago in victoria
I'm still trying to quit right now, its hard because ive been doing it since year 8 and im currently year 10. i dont want to get addicted because i like my lungs
you say you have been doing it for two years and you don't want to get addicted? If that were true you would be addicted already and know it, I think you are lying
great Journalism mate! Australia needs more people like you
its crazy how vapes is strictly illegal to use, sell, distribute and everything yet people just have vape shops with thousands of vapes sitting there, selling them to underage kids & those kids are wondering why they can't breathe within the year.
the issues come from black-market products, those who vape real devices and DIY juice have been safe and sounds for over 10 years...
if you can't breathe you aren't wondering anything, because you are dead
I live in australia and I just want to say this is not what this country is like, but there are towns of sketchy people in some little places. Australia is a better country than it looks like
I just returned from a visit to Sydney. I saw a couple of young people vaping but nothing to the extent portrayed here.
Just hitting the vape while watch this cheering 💨💯
Just popped a king
I live in NSW and bro the amount of eshays in year EIGHT that vape is actually crazy. I have friends that vape and it’s just sad honestly
YOU DON'T NEED VAPES TO PASS TIME probably most of the reason why you hit it every couple of seconds like pulling up your phone and scrolling
Oi me and my mate both 13 found over 10 vapes on the road on where w live. Also lots of my friends who are 13-16 all vape it’s crazy but I don’t do it
You said your brother was 17. But when you went into the shop you said he was 12 and his girlfriend 10. 🤔
For the drama bro
2:41 honestly that’s pretty normal behaviour for a 16 yr old I just find it ridiculous when like 12 and 13 year olds are doing it which they do it’s very common
i'm 16 & i don't even do the crap
@@Theborzoiswiftie586 that’s good keep it that way
As an Australian, I can confirm, but go to New Zealand (Wellington) trust me, that’s bad. I saw atleast 7 kids under 10 vaping
As an Australian Asian, I hope i dont get intefered with the eshay industry.
2:26 PREACH UNC!
I smoked ciggies for 10 years, have smoked cones for 15, and Vape for 6.
Guess which one doesn't make me cough my lungs up
Much wow. Very bigtobacco shill.
I'd have moved to oils by now if i wasn't addicted to the actual hit hey@@dynavap
Ya can physically tell which one is more harmful when you've done em all aha
Sounds like you’ve had a rough life, hopefully you can kick the habit
First video ive seen of yours but this was a great piece. 👍👌
same!!! I have subscribed to him!!!
As an Aussie, this video makes us look like idiots, but you went to victoria, so victoria is victoria. (all Aussies will know XD)
He's in Sydney, which is a loooong way from Victoria. Maybe you should check where Newtown is on a map.
@@disposablextalent start of the vid he said Victoria (ofc ik where newtown is), maybe he changed locations and we didn't realise
@@timmybubbyboi5679 He literally just listed a statistic relating to Victoria, not saying he was in Victoria.
@@disposablextalent im dumb.
but when i was at newtown I didn't see barely any vapes there, but victoria is the area renound for the vapes....
whatev still dumb
vapes are everywhere in australia, my friend has done it (only stopping because lack of money), and my 13 yr old brother's classmates had vapes too. i remember he told me how a kid had to leave school at lunch because he forgot his vape at home and went to get it during lunch. it's crazy how such young kids can't even go without one puff of it during school.
in primary school we had so many people showing us why smoking is horrible and would cut our life short, and almost everyone wouldn't dare smoke a cigarette. it's crazy how australia basically overcame a lot of the smoking problem just to introduce vaping to screw up people's lungs again.
For all you vapers out there, remember to declare you vape on any medical documents. Medical professionals need to know especially if you need anesthesia for a procedure. If you don't, there's a good chance you'll wake up seeing your insides
@@dynavap Ok, but I'm referring to those who use vapes either recreationally or replaced smoking with vapes on their own initiative. They'll still need to declare it
Awesome vid Jamie keep up the great work! Should send this one out to some of the pollies.
Lying to the shop keeper about your relatives and their age is not only wrong it's unnecessary and infact trolling them, also demanding a refund the way you did rubs salt in the wound. Two wrongs don't make a right, keep it up and I wont watch another video
Applause :)
I like how he dropped the ages to 12 & 10 lol, they look 25..
in the vending machine there was no vapes they were phone charging devices
