My heart goes out to you Jeremy. If you happen to read this we are all perfectly imperfect. You’re not a bad person and can get through what you’re going through. Great work Damo! ❤
I believe he just realized all the stress and crimes he has committed throughout the area he lives. Those were not tears of remorse. Those were tears of guilt. I don't think Jeremy holds any remorse for what he has done or what he will do in the future.
These kids need to stop Playing the victim harden the f****** up stay away from crack. Jeremy be a man and look after your kid. You're a mess get it together
I appreciate Jeremy’s vulnerability and honesty beyond belief. Those few words he shared really pulled on my heart strings- what an inspiration. Love and light to him
@usernamebruv_ Nah i know this sounds pretty fucked but these kids are no hopers, i live in the area and they are just flops, I really do feel bad for them though, and I used to be like those boys but i realized that i was just a flop aye
@@TheHamsowie Mate I literally know those boys, I grew up in that exact area my entire life, yes they need very good help, but if you even lived in the area you would agree with me mate. I have been in the spot they have been in mate...
I live in Hobart, and Tassie is Australia's most socioeconomically disadvantaged state. Functional literacy is around 50%, and generational poverty is evident. Tasmanians also get paid less than on the mainland; I took a 50% pay cut when I moved here. Tasmania is so beautiful, and we are only starting to get a real middle class now with people and opportunities coming from the mainland. However, there is still a massive gap between rich and poor Tasmanians. Tasmanians deserve better, and poor Jamie is the collateral damage of a poorly run state.
I pray 🙏 for Jeremy too. Well done to lad from Sydney turned Christian Counsellor. I will say this though, the scenery is beautiful in Tassi but Hobart is a s$it hole! My ex is from Hobart & I’ll never go back there….too much boredom, mental illness & ice. I grew up in Melbourne with Tongans/Samoans & Lebs in & out of Prison (plus bit in Sydney) Crime & unsafe areas are Sydney first Melbourne second, everywhere else is just the issues I mentioned above 👆🏽
I’m so proud of you Jeremy I was also a druggy, your son is proud of you too from where you’ve come to have that attitude you have not it’s definitely something to be proud of
Hey Jamie bro, i live in the western area of hobart and i absolutely love the interviews ya doing to all these boys in the area, they really need them. you really had guts to go into the middle of glenorchy and i think you were honestly pretty lucky to only see as petty stuff as that, really blows me away what those young dog will do! i also think tranmere's a pretty bad place you might wanna investigate whilst your in tassie if you have time. LOVE your work brother, keep it up and stay safe! ❤
Jeremy looks like such a normal person who you'd pass in the street and not think for a second that his life could go downhill so fast. He seems so regretful of his actions and decisions. Damien has found something that many need to find - that God is never far away. The transformational power of the Holy Spirit is able to move mountains. Tasmania really is a forgotten part of Australia that has so much to offer. I wish both these boys well.
Fucking social media and this whole demoralizing masculinity, we need dads and strong men, not eshays and druggos. Fucking discipline is what you need. Crap, I'm from Brazil and seeing the "dangers of Australia" is laughable and saddening at the same time. You guys have no clue how easy you have and what real despair looks like, keep your arms clean, work hard and you can land a pretty decent life. Australia is amazing and you guys have a head start on life just by being born here.
pffffff we have open borders. I would rather cut off my own leg than live under open borders. imagine everyone in Asia and Africa comes to do 5 cent jobs in Brasil, your child is taught like he should be a slave farmer (his parents only employ foreigners, never friends or family that is too expensive) but then the welfare doesn't pay enough and the son has no skills. The government gives MORE welfare and imports MORE "skills". In the end the kids just want to murder the migrants who are poisoning our culture. We didn't poison ourselves. Close the border, Tasmania will shine. Boomer slave culture is vomit. China is for Chinese, India is for Indians. Grass is not greener in Tasmania, and even if it was, it is OUR grass.
As I Tasmanian I disagree I am 12 and ne and my mate run around Rokeby and are like eshayyyyy I’m not one but we mess around I would say it’s not dangerous I catch metro by myself
Tassie is such a geographically beautiful place but unfortunately I very rarely visit after leaving nearly 20 years ago, every time I visit I feel it’s getting worse.
living in glenorchy this video isnt necessarily inaccurate, but pretty damn exaggerated. it really isnt that bad here, as the guy at the end said its all just petty crime. the only real problem is both the disrespectful youth who act like they have it so worse than they actually do, and the drugs.
When I was young and dumb living in glenorchy I noticed a big difference between shaving and having a beard. Seems like having a beard scares off the crazies.
A Godless, loveless society creates weak and lost men like this. They just need structure, purpose, love and decent role models. A lot of us ran wild as youth and there's always hope.
DAMO.... These are our kid's. Please 🙏 carry the torch & help the youth. Hats of to ya. May God bless & give you the guidance, strength & courage. So you may guide those who need & seek. GOD BLESS OUR KIDS the strength, courage & wisdom.
Oh Jeremy you broke my heart and made me want to shed a tear for you when you spoke about what you would say to your younger self I truly hope you find your way in life all the best ❤
A lot of people are quick to judge others, but fail to remember that people who become homeless or addicts (of any kind) don't get there because life was/is amazing. I'm about to be evicted over $200 for late rent, because I was assaulted by an addict while working and lost my job, but I know that mental health of people get affected and he was probably having a bad day. I suffered for his suffering, and I forgive that, but there's not a lot of support for them, or for me.
I went to the Australian maritime college afew year's ago & had a great time, then i travelled for a month or so around the island in winter. Meet heaps of great ppl & seen afew things, alot of history. The little shts in & around most citys but the island is beautiful & can't wait to come back down again. Hobart is like most city's but the rest of the islands is worth seeing & recommend ppl to go visit the island.
Jeremy, your story is sad and tragic. But there is always hope. There is a way to a better future. Your friend Damo is a good example. Look to the cross. ✝️
i smoke weed. a lot i know its nothing hard but i recently had 3 weeks off while going over seas, it made me realize some shit, im 32 still with my parents and i know i got it easy and good. but man its time to stop this shit and make a life that my child self would be proud of.

I hope the guy with those eyes achieves all for his son, all the best mate. True, they like a pack of Dog's in a Groupe, on their own they stand back or run away
Yeah and they need a good mentor to help them change. Not someone who talks shit about something they know nothing about.
