I just did an FI exhaust mine and almost wonder if I spent too much money on an exhaust system, when it sounded just fine with muffler and resonator 🤦🏻♂️. Definitely wouldn't trade the FI exhaust for anything sounds absolutely amazing but there's still something about just a muffler and resonator natural delete sounds so good and classic! it does sound like a v8. its just not a muscle car v8 sound because the engine is higher reving than other v8 engines. this is because the cylinder movement (distance it moves up and down each rpm) is shorter. the same is even more so in a ferrari 458 for example
Sorry if I overlooked it but what diameter is the piping you used to replace the cats/resonator/muffler? Also where did you get the quad tips? Gotta do this to mine
yea but the cheapest reputable company is VF starting at 6k. you wouldn't want to turbo these cars either. they wouldn't be able to handle that high of a redline so supercharging is the only way to go
Daniel Sadjadian i wouldn’t go that far as to call this engine boring. The f80 stock is very tame but fast and when you make this car stage 2, it really releases the beast that this engine can be. I’ve owned both and before installing downpipes on the f80, I was all about going back to the e92. Stage 2 F80 all day. No doubts about that
Makes me wish i had got DCT instead of manual for my e92m. Is that on the stock dct tune? Sounds like the car has engine tune (from the burbles) and dct tune
in germany the police would beat the shit out of you when they stop you in a car like this. First they would shut the car down bring it toTÜV inspection and give you a high fee also because of the catalytic converter removal because in germany driving without cat ist tax evasion :)
