  • Luke checks out the latest product offered from Superclamp; their ATV / UTV Tie-Down Strap kit. It fastens around the tire and holds the unsprung part of your ATV or Side x Side confidently in place so there’s never any chance that the straps can come loose as the suspension compresses. The ATV UTV tie down strap kit comes with everything you need to secure one vehicle. 4 straps, 4 heavy duty ratchets with rubber coated handles, and a set of 4, four-inch-long deck hooks. Each 1.5-inch-wide strap has a working load limited of 1,300 lbs. When used with their Supertrac, you can easily adjust our anchor position forward and back for different vehicles you choose to haul.

You can already do with the basically and standard ratchet strap

  • @AvoidingChores

using the Ericsson kit, works well for my side by side but I do like the super track and flexibility say if I wanted to load up a different buggy or tractor on the trailer.

  • @danlux4954

I use the tire bonnets on the front tires and the Supertrac straps on the back ones. Mine are the older version.

honest question, aren't you concerned about ripping the super tracks out of the decking? Even with the deck hooks, i put bigger washers on...

  • @stevebrown3872

I am surprised know body has done this yet. It's similar to my son's wheel chair van q restraints . Works very well

  • @angelophillips5334

I use a similar system with just basic tires bonnets I got off Amazon. Securing by the tires is hands down the best method. I will say however, I still check my load every time I stop and just flick the straps. Stuff happens, and I wouldn't tell your viewers they don't need to periodically check their load. Awesome video as always guys!

I'm amazed at how many people have no idea how to secure an ATV or SxS and don't seem to care. In the last month alone I've seen at least two different people driving on the highway with a SxS on a trailer with loose straps doing nothing to keep the machine in place. One of them only used one ratchet strap on the front end. I'm amazed we don't see more of them falling off.

  • @moriver1

Good lord you can buy a kit from Vulcan for that much that will hold down a car or truck also....

  • @redblue40rc33

Use 18 wheeler chain binders... guaranteed to hold😅😅😅😅😅......mite need a new frame tho after trip 😅

  • @johnhelems721

Those will still let the vehicle Rock back and fourth I would go through the wood and put a washer and nut on the track . Those lag bolts will rip out if you have a accident and you will be responsible for the vehicle coming off and hitting another vehicle .

  • @justinbryant6676

How does this not damage ball joints and a arms

  • @Kevin-gn8cz

Would this work in the bed of a pickup with the mounts being forward of the wheel? Does the mount need to be beside the tire?

  • @Treasuremonk

Anytime I look at a website and NO prices listed, I’m afraid to even ask

  • @nicksummerfield5408

Could you all do a video of loading a atv in the bed of a pickup. What are some good cab savers, Rachet straps and best methods of doing this. There’s no good info out there. Would this method your mentioned work in a pickup bed if there are secured points to mount in the bed?

  • @grbrown1922

I would be concerned about how much pulling force (that would occur in an accident) that it would take for that supertrack to pull out of the deck boards.

  • @sarbuck1

Through the wheel is a better system

  • @brianlouks3017

What happens if your UTV is in neutral? Seem like it would rock back and forth.

Are these seriously just bolted to the wood? That’s kinda scary

  • @justinbryant6676

    This still causes damage

  • @drillsergeant623

Sorry I don’t go to RUclips to watch commercials. But good luck.
