Very nice and well thought out video. I’m trying the lasso setup and self welded wheel chocks anchored by a 5/8-11 bolt to the deck (under deck backer plate) for a secured point, very little room for through the wheel strapping for me. Tried many different tie-down schemes over the years with no loss of equipment but some work better than others for sure. Again, nice job on the video, short and on point !
I hate to bother you again about these but how long are the chains from hook to ratchet? I've got a texas bragg 12' single axle pipe trailer( the wheel is toward the back) and trying to figure out if these will work for sure
It’s no bother at all. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions. The chain to the inside of the hook is 14in long on the ones I have. Email me at fun@trailkings.com and I can reply back with a picture of the chain being measured.
Been using them on those wheels since 2018 when the machine was bought new. I haven’t noticed any wear issues but our wheels tend to get stretched up from the rock trails. When our turbo S was new & before the rocks scratched the wheels... I never saw any damage to the wheels that I can remember but I can see how it could happen if not installed correctly or if sandy dirt was left on the wheel when strapped down which would cause the strap to act as sand paper. Overall it’s still the only way we strap our machines down. Hope this helps.
Yes sir. With connecting to each tire directly to the side of our trailer, 8ft is long enough for us. Most times we have slack in them we loop up after we tighten them.
It’s not for everyone but it’s been the best way we have found to strap our machines with no issue. We’ve been doing it for five years now and no finish have been worn off on our wheels. I’m not saying it can’t happen, just providing feedback from our experiences. We appreciate you watching the video.
When I’ve used them, I secure the lasso around the tire and not the wheel itself. Same method most roll back wrecker operators use. It has worked well for me and keeps the finish on the wheels unblemished and keeps the strap from wearing on the wheel.
Straight to the point, love this video
Thanks. We appreciate you watching.
Nice, 1 of the shortest, greatest videos made. Thanks
Thank you
Nice work! Thanks for taking the time to do this.
You’re welcome. Thank you for watching the video.

Exactly the way I strap my RZR XP 4 1000 HighLifter.
Thanks for watching.
I ordered a set recently, they are the real deal.
Thanks for sharing.
I love ours, it makes securing the machines so much easier for me.
nice set up
Thank you
I just bought Speed Straps Ultimate 2" kit.
Thanks for sharing, I’ll have to check those out.
Muy buen video aprendí mucho gracias
De nada. Gracias por ver.
What’s your suggestion if we have new bikes with stock rims that won’t allow me to feed straps thru them?
I would go around the A-arm & trailing arms. Just make sure you don’t put the strap on anything that will cut it.
They also make tire bonnets-cheapest place I’ve found them is at Home Depot.
What if I am unable to run anything through the tires of my atv? What would be the next best option?
i would like at the a-arms area.
I use zip ties to keep my excess strap from blowing around in the wind. Fold it neat then zip tie it to the ratchet.
That’s a good idea. Thanks for sharing & watching the video.
having driven truck for over 40 years, if you put a half turn in your straps they won't flap so much. It's called harmonic vibration.
We appreciate the good info. Thanks.

@@trailkings all good man. I bought the green ones earlier lol bet they'll work if I secure them towards the ends of the trailer. Thank you
👍🏼
Where can I find this strap system.
We bought these off Amazon. Below is the link to the ones we bought.

We’ve placed a link in the description of this video. Click on that link & it will take you straight to where we purchased them.
@@trailkings The only ones it takes me to are 8ft long. Are yours that long?

Ok thanks I just saw where it said in the description that they were made for a car

best strap on the market is shock strap hands down.
Thanks for the info. I haven’t heard of them. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for watching the video.
@@trailkings dirt trax did a review they're expensive, but actually worth it. i used two straps to hold down my grizzly, not a single issue with them.
Those shock straps look janky af... I'm going with the lasso
@@-CHaPPy- i bought 2 sets 100% worth the money no issues woth them 2yrs later
All four tie-down straps should have four tie-down points not two .
I appreciate the info. Thanks
You should NEVER tie down two straps to the same point. If the actual point should break then you are fucked.
I appreciate the information.
Yeah until that strap wears the finish off of my $5000 wheels. No thanks
