Great Planes Big Stik 120 Tail Dragger Conversion

In this video we rebuild and convert the great planes Big Stik 120 to a tail dragger. We go over the whole plane and fix the little things and replace a few servos as well as turn the engine sideways!

This is a fantastic video. You did a fabulous job on this plane making all the mods and i thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Im more of a flyer than i am a builder and ive been flying 38 years now almost and this is one of the best you tube videos ive ever seen and i honestly mean that. You explained everything in great detail and also in a simplified manner. The end product is just marvelous. I love both Great Planes products and Saito engines are my favourite. I have a number of planes and these include the Great Planes Avistar Elite, the Great Planes Cherokee 40 and the Great Planes Escapade 61. The thing i like about Great Planes is that their model aircraft are strongly built and they use good materials. I have a good number of Saito engines and have had them for years and never any bother. I love the sound. Thanks for sharing this video, you are a talented modeler and i wish you every success and many happy landings with all your aeroplanes. Happy and healthy 2024.

IVe had one of the GP Giant Big Stik 80.5 inch that I ran a Saito 120 on for awhile before being talked out of the 120 by a buddy. I have had both a Saito 180 and an Eflight Power 160 for a while now but cant decide which direction to go...
