Aw man, Lew was a good friend to me! When I first moved to NYC I worked at Iridium and got to know he and Sue Mingus! With Lew came Paul Schaefer from the Tonight Show Band, of which Lew did a dead pan dead on impersonation! But we reconnected right before he passed. He often joked about being the oldest hipster in Williamsburg! I had the pleasure of listening to music he never released, while having some wine from his collection. A great talent who is missed!
