Concealed Hinge Over Push - cyclic-fatigue test - particle board furniture IKEA PAX

In this video is shown concealed hinge cyclic-fatigue test with test setup "Bimbo V.3". The hinge is fixed on particle board about 11 cm wide. Only one hinge is used.
After about 4500 cycles the hinge is damaged and screws are not any more tightly holding the hinge. This induces additional stress impacts and cause particle board to crack.
The test took finally much longer than expected and unfortunately I did not capture the breaking event on the camera : ( Next time : )
