Pan Arunachal JSC distressed by CBI's conduct, also questions newly appointed members APPSC
In the press conference by Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee(PAJSC) Tadak Nalo, a member cited that there has been no major breakthrough by the CBI in handling the AE Civil 2022 and of APPSCE paper leak exam since the case was handed over by the SIC.
“We made a recent visit to the CBI office along with the aggrieved parents and raised questions on the lack of arrests made, anomalies in initial chargesheets filed, and also to highlight the importance of keeping an open channel so that the PAJSC can also give some inputs to the case but overall we got a very disappointing response by the CBI”, pointed out Nalo.
Nalo said that the CBI was not willing to take any inputs from them.
According to Nalo, CBI stated that, they are not here to arrest but just for investigation.
Nalo said the number of arrested is more than it actually is.
Nalo while talking about tomorrow's meeting, said tomorrow's outcome of the meeting is going to decide the very future of the state. And that they are anticipating that their 13 Charter of Demands are addressed at the meeting.
Speaking on the recently appointed Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Chairman and members, the Chairman of PAJSC, Techi Puru said that they will need detailed information and background of the newly appointed chairman and the member of APPSCE and also on which ground they were selected.
He further said that the Government has 100% role in appointing the newly appointed Chairman and the members.
He questions the Pema Khandu led government, stating, the lack of transparency in the appointment process.
Puru also said the PAJSC members welcome the reformation but also pointed out that instead of implementing Divide & Rule policy and coming up with new dates for conducting exams the members should first look into the termination of previous APPSC members and also on the process of arresting Nipo Nabam.
To keep the meeting of PAJSC with the Home Minister with other student unions transparent, the committee will organize a mass meeting/dharna on 11th of February, 2023 at 11:00 am to share the points discussed with the home minister, stated Puru.

APPSC isn't a war zone to appoint retired soldiers everytime. We have warm respect for them but it isn't necessary to have them in State Public Service Commission every now and then.
Also, the newly appointed female member is the younger sister of one of our Ministers, Govt.of A.P.
