Felix, my only question that comes with the fire steel modifications is ...Would there not be a problem with rust migrating into the body of your SAK for various reasons? Of course the answer is to keep a close eye on the maintenance of the knife, but the attached file section will continue to cause problems. Normally I just carry a small section of file that I simply rounded the sharp corners, drilled a hole in the tang area of the file for a paracord lanyard. Thanks! Great video series...
If you chamfer the exterior of the hole just a tiny bit, then you could work some silicone adhesive around, like a bezel to assist in holding it in place more securely. Nice modification though.

A illuminated dot is always good for finding the kinfe in darkness and a round spirit level is not a disadvantage if you build a camp
