Happy New! We started our loc journey last year, I have 4 girls and one boy. Hubby was against it at first until he saw the relief it gave us both. I am one year and my girls will be one year this February. They have VERY long hair and it took me a day per head. Hair to the butt, no mixed race at all. My son too, never had a hair cut (2.5 yrs and loc'ed) I learned how to do natural hair from RUclips and we flourished. My mom simply permed my sister's and I hair. So it was a blessing for me to really learn how to do natural hair. But locs was a new journey, and I learned for over a year, then started mine late December 27 and my daughter's Feb 2024. The hair shrinks at first, but over time the length comes back. We love it! I even ended up doing hubby's locs, now we are a loc'ed family. Your life will never be the same! Also, when the girls no longer want them, they can grow out the hair and trim the locks off. No bald heads needed. Hope this helps but research. Also I love Trim Healthy Momma or THM, I lost 20lbs and going hubby lost 22lbs just lowering sugar and white flour!
Yay a shopping trip to Costco , I was hopping for a grocery haul they are one of my favorite , also I love your bread baking videos, Thanks for sharing 🤩, God bless y'all .
I think they’d love locs! ❤ They have the perfect texture. My nieces all refused them and now in their 20’s they all have either locs or microlocs. It’ll save so much time
I think your daughters will love getting their hair loc'd. Their hair is beautiful and healthy. You've done a great job taking care of their hair but I understand how time-consuming it is to care and maintain natural hair. I kept my two youngest daughters' hair twisted or French braided when they were younger, but wash day was like a second job! Our hair is healthier when it is loc'd- it keeps us from manipulated it daily. After years of research, I finally got sisterlocs a few years ago and I love them. One of the best decisions I've made. My daughters are older and do their own natural hair( deep conditioning, braiding, twist-outs,etc). It's important for our girls to learn to love their hair and learn which products or styles are best with their hair texture and curl pattern...Love you and Jeremy's sense of humor,it's heartwarming to see. Thank God your trampoline didn't do more damage. Wind gusts can get pretty fierce...Looking forward to this year's blogs. May God continue to bless your family!🙏😊❤
Love when you guys post!!! 🥹♥️ I also love love love your family pics.. have you guys ever considered starting a photography business?? We live in Columbus (family of 4) if you ever decide to do that we would love to be your first clients lol!!! ♥️ Have a blessed weekend!!!
Praise God no one was hurt by the flying treadmill 😂fr. Im trying to get my daughter to get sister locs. She has never grown into wanting to do her own hair, and she is still tender headed. I need to trim hers more. I appreciate you showing us about the clean ingredients.
Such a beautiful family, i love to see it....I locked my 7 year old hair, she has very thick and a full head of hair and doing any style would cause her to cry her eyes out, i mean if i even looked at her head, wash day was such a headache, it was a pain for her and a pain for me. Now that it's locked, we both feel free, and she loves it. You ca. Do many styles. When she is older, she can do whatever to her hair after that. I myself am locked with sister locks, and I love it.
What a beautiful family. It’s funny, but I wasn’t taught how to do hair neither, you learn by doing, it seems. I hope you don’t mind me asking, what grocery store you were in, it was huge.
Hello family blessings...and yes its so true one small change in food makes a big difference and reading ingredients on packaging is surprising 🧐 ..i cook from scratch and its how i raised my kids with out them missing out on goodies 😂everything in moderation health is wealth.
You’re right!! Thank God!! Wow!! That wind was something!! The girls hair is beautiful!! As always loved your vlog!! Happy New Year!! 🎉🎉 2025. It’ll be Greater than Great!! Can’t wait to see!! 🥰
Objects fly in California, not so much in Ohio 😅. I watch a few cc's that don't edit, have you thought about that for a more natural vlog? I love you Jeremy, your natural sense of humor is always welcomed 😅❤. The girls have beautiful, thick, healthy hair.
I understand that it might be a little expensive; but, why don’t you try getting your girls either braids or cornrows. These styles last for awhile and once they get use to having their hair done; they, will make the adjustment. I use to cornrow my daughters hair when she was small; she would lay her head on my lap and go to sleep. It kept her hair looking neat and cornrowing it made the texture straighter and stronger, less tangled.
Happy 2025 Family!!!! I’m sure you are tired of my comments/suggestions but, in regards to knee issues, I was a track/cross country runner and other activities that required jarring motions. For the last 13 years, I’ve had Orthovisc/Synvisc injections which add cushion between joints. See if you can see an orthopedic surgeon and get an assessment. Note: they will try to begin with cortisone (it does absolutely nothing)! Insist on hyluaronic injections. Have a great weekend!
Ohio is supposed to have arctic cold temperatures on Monday and Tuesday. I plan to have my taps dripping around the clock on those days. If you have shopping or errands, it's best to do them before or after those days. I'm staying in if I can. Have a good weekend. : )
Nice vlog! I'm glad nothing too terrible happened with your trampoline. You'll want to keep it put away until late May or June because the winds are pretty bad in winter and spring. I usually put anything away in the Fall that could blow away in winter or spring. Spring is worse with the wind in Ohio. We also get more tornados in Spring. I know in our yard there were bricks laying around from the previous people who lived here. I put them away because they can be picked up by a tornado and tossed through a window. Did you have to disassemble your trampoline or were you able to put it away whole? As for hair care I can't offer much advice on that because I have a different texture with different needs. I was looking for unscented shampoo and conditioner and found that Cantu offers that. I may try it in the future. I usually need more moisture in haircare in winter and like Dove products. As for creamer, I usually use milk and might add extracts for flavor. On occasion, I'll have coffee and have it with powdered creamer too. When it comes to answering comments, I think you don't need to feel pressured to answer right away because you are very busy with your family and your life and need your space. Have a nice weekend.
I cant plait halr either 😅 got two girls and all I can do is derange n salon so the rest 😂 I can't even twist ...locs will be beautiful yes and It will stay healthy also they can also comb out the locs if no longer wanted and they wont lose mu h hair if you use a good detangler ...I'm just inlove with your white doors
Google hair care for natural hair, they have tutorials. Your girls have lovely hair just keep it moisturize and brushed it will become tamed. I have three girls but l was blessed with knowledge by having four sisters to practice on.
My current struggle with the hair thing. Idk what to do with it I just feel like it’s not realistic to do hair everyday lol. And i just feel like styles don’t last. Both my girls want locs and I want to have it but idk if im really ready lol
Their hair is definitely a blessing. It's just a lot when I have 3 heads of hair to do plus my own. I do it all myself and it takes up a ton of time. Braids aren't long lasting just like the twists I do in their hair. I just want a more sustainable option to make all of our lives easier.
Welcome back yall and thank you for watching us! Don’t forget to LIKE and drop us a comment if you have time ❤

😂😂 yup! Our power was always cut off due to those crazy winds!
I see the winds followed you from California to OH-IO. 😂
Great vlog❤….Happy 2025
Happy New Year to you too! 🎉
The girls beautiful hair is a blessing, consider braids instead of locs. I thinks locs should be their personal choice when they are older. ❤

Cane sugar is what you want
Thanks
You can't get away from old people either. Just come back home. 😂
You've been to rehab so much you could have started your own rehab facility. You and Javier.
Beautiful and Happy New Year to 2025 🎉
9:29 what’s that supposed to mean?? lol
