@@jonjones4972 I must say I did sell it a month or so ago though. It wasn't worth the legal hassle here in London, so just went back to a car. Sad but aye, got some good photos and videos of it over the months I did have it. I do have spare tyres etc left over if you or anyone else wants to buy them at a cheap price 👌
You can buy the polyurethane bushing material in 5 mitre lengths from Clark rubber and cut them to length yourself you can also get a harder grade as well. Much cheaper than getting it online or through where you purchased your scooter from.
Good video, thanks. Can't believe this is a $6,000 scooter in Australia, can't wait for a company to produce a product of overall quality, like for example how Yamaha and Honda do.
Just bought some. I REALLY hope they come out for more mods for this! I love it so much even though it has down sides. Mainly I wish they would smoothen out the low end acceleration in third gear dual motor so that I can keep up with traffic without having to start in 2nd gear. This should fix the suspension issue. pretty sure mine busted instantly though to be fair I'm a big dude at 215lbs.
Awesome video!!! I recently got my Wolf King GT Pro and this is one of my concerns, the rear suspension. Specially since I have the seat installed and I know for a fact the suspension is going to wear quicker due to that. I’m going to go ahead and buy the bushings just for the sake of it. Thanks again for the vid!
Have you changed your suspension bushes yet mate? Before i had even bought my gt pro I had ordered a voro motors seat from America and got it shipped to the UK so I'd have it already here for when I bought the scooter but obviously with me being in England I didn't get any chance to actually see the seat in person before buying and didn't realise how far back it sat until putting it on and like you first thing I was thinking about was the bushes but I've not had chance to change mine yet So just wondering what state were yours in?
@@jonathanguinan8248 I’ve rode already 250 miles, they are starting to wear out a little bit. But I haven’t changed them yet. With the seat you might expect them to wear out sooner. I’m planning to change them once I reach 500 miles or if they bottom out, whatever comes sooner.
Sweet. I only got a wolf warrior but done alot of riding a bit crazy on a mountain bike track with jumps and all. I'm also 110kg so yeah my Suspension is stuffed.
@@flyingman33 mate you will have so much fun! I had a few good stacks also but keep getting up. Also just checked and those bushes are now out of stock..... No good. Hopefully they come back in soon. I have been avoiding jumps as it bottoms out way too easy now.
No matter how tight I turns the Allen’s I cannot get the springs to compress with my dubitz bushings. I have them crazy tight but I still have at least 1/8th inch gap.
@@flyingman33 I used a breaker bar on the 4mm Allens to tighten them but I’d have to compress the heck out of my new bushings to get that spring to touch. It feels like the bolt will break. It did take like 5-10 minutes to break each one loose with a breaker bar on the Allen when I took it apart. Maybe the dubitz bushings are too tall.
@@PEVsandiego4991 hmmm the new bushings are slightly longer but shouldn't take that much force and definitely not a breaker bar, sounds like maybe a dodgy or cross thread from the manufacturer.
Haven't run into one yet but usually they turn a blind eye unless your doing something silly. I've seen many e-scooters and skateboards in the city ride past cops without any issue.
Why do the bushings matter with ride quality? My thought process says that they are just a stop so the unit doesn’t bottom out. Are the bushings really supposed to flex ?
The bushes compress and slows the travel of the suspension to try and stop bottoming out. They have different bushes depending on rider weight which have compression rates to match.
Brilliant video, keep them coming. I have just had a look at the website is the one with 4 lines on it the 100%/stiffest and the lines less stiff ect. Also it is in dollars do they ship to different countries
@@flyingman33 Yeah I made the upgrade this eve and went for a test ride. Sooo much better. Stiffer but very comfortable and makes the scooter feel more stable. Thanks again.

hey does anyone know how to get the tap screw out of the suspension holder. mine broke while screwing it out. just trying to figure this out. i don't know any other way to get the screw out the hole.
That will be tricky, if you can see and of the screw try and grip it with some pliers and twist it out, if it's too tight or the screw is in the hole then you might have to use a screw extractor but this will require you to drill a hole carefully down the screw from the end.
I am 65kg but say when I have a bag on etc say I was 75kg would you recommend getting the 75% bushes or just go for the 100% ones? I do a lot of of roading most of the time
They are both nice and built the same, only difference is under the hood. For the most part you travel at speeds achievable by both the warrior and king.
What di you recomend for mostly street rider. I feel bumps so hard on road. Idk if tire psi needs to be maybe lower im on 48 psi. Im running stock shocks and im 200lbs.
Yea you could try a slightly lower tire pressure and see how that goes. If you do the rear suspension upgrade then 100% should be a safe bet in case you want to carry anything, backpack etc.
@gokucanfly4593 I've heard also the bigger washer helps but from what I've seen the original bush is low quality. As for changing the spring I'm not sure as I haven't done this mod myself but I would imagine it would change the ride and weight capacity for sure
I did it upright to start with so that the bushes and washers didn't fall apart when I removed the assembly. I wanted to ensure I put them back in the same order.
hi any other mods i just done the rear bushes and its great, how tight did u go with the 2 bolts underneath on the plate i went to the slack got taken out?? also what do you think about steering damper on the wolf king gt? worth adding it?
Hi, I haven't made any other mods to the rear shocks as the bush swap did enough. I did the same when tightening the plate, enough to take the slack then maybe 1-2mm and just made sure the plate was level. As for steering damper I don't think the GT needs it. I've maxed out the top speed and had no wobble

Not related to the suspension mod, which is awesome by the way...but how do you feel the Zoom brakes are? About to pull the trigger on a Wolf GT and I can't help wondering if I'll end up going with the NUTT setup for overall better feel
Thanks, I've heard the same about Zoom vs NUTT brakes but in a couple instances where I had to stop quickly the Zoom brakes on the GT performed well. Just make sure to adjust the small grub screw on the brake lever because in stock position you have to press the lever in too far for it to engage the brakes.
But why is nobody greasing the shaft? That spring plate rotates on the shaft. Also the bolt heads go up and down inside the spring plate cones -- they also need grease. Kaabo did not design that rear suspension well at all. I have seen more than a few videos of it falling off while riding!
That is a terrible suspension system. 1st generation full suspension mountain bikes used to use suspension like that but not for over 22 years. Youd think for what they charge for these things they could put on some decent air shocks.
