these little videos have given me so much guitar knowledge and endless licks that i consistently use all throughout my solos, love em!
Bro, that explorer is hands down your best sounding guitar. That beast screams metal.
Man, I had a 1998 black '76 Gibson reissue. It was the best sounding rhythm guitar I've had in 30 years. Of course I sold it like a dumbass, for $500
His hair grows longer every time he plays this guitar lol this does sound killer
Man your alternate picking finger exercises are killer on your lessons I purchased. That will definitely speed up my playing. So just wanted to say thank you for that.
Love your channel! I'm a seasoned player for like 30 years and you explain things so well.
I would always compare the positions and link them like you mentioned.
"Looks like a C major but we are in A minor..."
One of my most influential teacher's said that when you get to a certain level, you'll have an epiphany.
You memorize the modes and patterns and then you throw them away as you memorize the neck. Maybe throw away isnt the right term here but i digress..
I think it was the jazz lessons that really helped.. as you can't rely on patterns and must know the chords and melody to accent accurately and since the chords are changing so quickly, there is no "fake it to make it"
👍👍 very cool
thanks for taking the time to post this
So excited I purchased your course the day it came out! It rocks🤘🏻🤘🏻 Thank you Robert for another great tutorial and course!! You are my favorite guitar instructor!!
Excellent lesson and playing.
YES! Thank you for doing this!
Thanks for helping us out with a simple trick to use to make us sound incredible!!
The last sequencing video has helped me with lead line ideas in a big way. I'm applying in short burst, entries into double stop stuff. Looking forward to getting this
under my fingers. Thanks! New guitar give away huh? ; )
Bought yesterday, after your e-mail… I didn’t even checked the content, if it’s from you, it’s good, period! Continue your good work!! Learning a lot…
Thanks dude, you and the music as a win channel have taught me so much and after 20yrs of playing rhythm and being a frontman I've finally really started to learn lead guitar and you guys have taught me so much and I've improved tremendously in the last couple of years... Thank you and keep doing what you're doing, cuz ya kickass 🤘👍
Same story for me man. Could not identify more with a comment.
Great lesson🎸🎸🎸
Excellent 🎸🎸 Thanks 🙏🏻 Robert 🎸🎸🎸
Love your videos Robert, I always feel like I pick up something helpful every time I watch one of your videos!
Hey dude just got this course because you are a rad dude and I enjoy the content you make but also because this is sick 🤟🤟
I learned so many cool licks from you...Thanks man
Robert, as much as I enjoy your courses and lessons there's an absolute wealth of licks in your off the cuff intros and outros. 4 cracking wee sections I'm stealing in that outro alone! 😂
Wrote that down., thanks for calling out the fret numbers...✌️👍... I'm back I just got the lesson I'm already flying through the first one...👍thank you....✌️
You are always great and on it!!! Nice lick. Thanks for not forgetting about Gibson. Your guitar sounds amazing.
What a great video. I have three friends that are pro guitarists. Unfortunately we live in different parts of the country so I do not have the luxury of hanging out with them all the time and learning guitar. Well here's my solution. I purchased the Essential Sequences 3 Note Per String Edition. Very well laid-out course. I have already improved my guitar playing off of Robert's RUclips videos. Looking forward to this taking me to a new level. Thanks!! Greg
One technique that is overlooked mainly because its hard to teach and everyone has their own way but, maybe a word on the importance of the picking hand. Really its a matter of coordination and wether you have it or you dont, or you have to work like crazy to get it but, the picking hand is the conductor so timing must be impeccible, or close to it.
Love this lesson!
Currently going through your previous Essential sequences and it's great! Got a LOT of work left tho before it sounds anywhere near decent so this one will have to wait a bit...
Obsessed with guitar as a kid. Picking it back up after a 25 year hiatus. Just discovered your channel and love the content.
Did you go to the George Bush senior school of speech?
Thanks man. Just had one of those "oh wow" moments.
PHENOMENAL..SIMPLY PHENOMENAL VIDEO...VERY INFORMATIVE AND USEFUL...THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING...
Lovely sound on that explorer
Watching your vids is like opening up a treasure chest. Thanks for doing what you do!
sweet man you are so inspiring love the lessons such a positive grove in my life that I need man thanks bud
Grooov
Thanks Robert!
Thanx man.
EPIC LESSON!!!
Cool thanks
Got the course! Look out friends, time to amaze ❤
Nice video, nice pattern, what more could you want
You're a good man Robert. You seem to be very humble and you are a great guitarist. YAH bless!!!
I was reading the title and automatically thought: The Pick of Destinty!!
Got the course, looks like a fun one! Next up... 80s!?!?
Maybe one of the best tips ive ever seen in a video.
Nice guitar
Cheers from downunder 🤟
Nice
Nice video! The tabs at the end around 1:40 are wrong though. You play ending on the a note but the tabs show 10 to 12
i like to double the leed guitar when recording as well
I like to spell lead, with an a.
NOTE: must add last note to RESOLVE the lick
Great. Tip bro thanks me I use my ear a lot best method ear to brain to hand this is what the pros use
Quit it! You’re making me want an explorer. Love your stuff, mister!
I take everything....but actually I just have rhythm weeks 😮
Hmmmm. You have got my attention RB 🤔
Where are you moving to?
I thought that was A minor. So you're starting on the 4th? To create a sus4 voicing leading to the minor third (C)?
👍🏻
I understand what you're saying, but I can't ever do that 😅 👍
EXPLORER TIME!
1:39 make patterns out of scales
I would like to know your hair care products plos
Any encouragement to grab my guitar is welcome.
😁
Like deployed 👍
Your fingers are HUGE.
😂
I just want the new Judas Priest song!
1000th 👍
"They all do" what? Sorry i missed whatever is refernced in the video title?
I bet they, like, practice or something.
Just rip it kids. Do it faster and love it.
Were you really 'super' excited to make this video? Curious.
THEY ALL USED THE SAME PICK!
They all used the same pick.
I use this finger. But u can u can use that finger. He uses the other finger. Who cares
If you spent as much time telling us the frets and notes..as which goddam finger . I mite know the scale. Wtf
it's not a trick, it's creativity and orginality which seems a far cry from what you showed here, but i guess it's interesting to the dumbo's. stop acting like a teacher unless you can show something actually sounds amazing,
Clickbait, be shameful.
I need a nice guitar ..wink wink ..on a budget
