@@ehsanhaq155 My bad if I came off as being insulted...not my intent. As far as learning the song...lets just say it took a while. I can make the guitar sound good but can also make it sound like i need more practice. Im not one that can just learn songs just by hearing them. It takes me some work. But thanks for the comment.

This was a great lesson, it is very fun to practice and to expand simply by playing the rest of the strings using the same principle and then combining them, its really been fun to create a practice routine for myself with info I had and things I didn't play. Really kind Miyagi like, this is a good one.

Great tips Robert. Being a long time guitarist, I search for riffs when practicing and find weaknesses when executing some passages. I then home in on strengthening my fingers and even explore variations just to take the idea further. Seems to be a never-ending joy that guitar can offer so many approaches. I'm still learning new shit after 50 years.

I was having a hell of a time figuring out how to alternate pick and disciplining myself to practice L O L. Then one day I decided that I wanted to learn symphony of destruction from Megadeth. That is not a hard song to play but the descending part where Dave sings "just like the Pied Piper lead rats through the streets" basically taught me how to alternate pick. I'm not even sure how he plays it honestly but my picking was slow and alternate picking helped me speed it up so I could play along with the song at first so it in advertently taught me a technique because it was fun and I was inspired... playing an instrument is about music not running scales, so keeping it musical I think is a great way to learn techniques and clean up the slop. 30 years later I can say that I have used this method to learn all kinds of different techniques and it seems to work out pretty good... great video brother.
