Streep may very well be a genius. One characteristic shared by many geniuses is a great sense of humor. Streep could probably be a stand up comedienne, she's that funny.
I just love the reaction of meryl on the speaches.. You just know that she truly conected to the people she worked with. And in a world were there is so much 'fake bondness' and people acting like your friend.. to find such a great icon and actress so genuine keeps me believing that you can rise as high as the sky as an actor, but still keep an open and loving heart. Thank you Meryl!
Meryl Streep is a boss. Her performance in Doubt really wrenches at your soul. That scene on the bench gives me the chills every time.

Diane has rocked the screen since I first saw her in "Lovers and Other Strangers" through her latest offerings. I loved her in "Something's Got to Give." You could see how much she brought out in her co-stars especially Jack, who seemed to be having a great time.

+mcclurelauren14 - Diane Keaton is a wonderful and incredible actress too. Watch her movie and you will see. So many talented actresses out there. What is unique about Meryl her incredible "accents" that she adopts
in all her performance especially in "Sophie Choice" which is a movie you can only watch once because it pulls at your heart when making a decision what child to leave and what to stay. Very very hard to watch without tears in your eyes. Not to mention her polish accent was incredible!
Amcclurelauren14--Keaton is not even in the top ten of actress'! When you talk about top actress' you talk about Katherine Hepburn, Meryl Streep, Ingrid Bergman, Bette Davis, Barbara Stanwyck, Audrey Hepburn. Keaton had one good movie "Annie Hall" but that she was basically a one trick pony!
