After watching this I realized that Lisa may have used a little of Diane Keaton’s persona on her acting choices while playing Phoebe. They’re both amazing by the way.
I will try to be very clear. Diane Keaton and Woody Allen came from another world dimension. A dimension full of art, feelings. madness and pure class. It is a kind of magic. Hollywood was not definetelly their place. But we have to thanks Diane and Woody for the show they gave us!

I watched this 10x bc I loved it. I guess you have to be a fan of both of these actresses to enjoy it. I can imagine if it was two actors I didn’t care or know about, I would feel the same way you do.

On several of the classic roasts from Dean Martin days people at that long table are laughing hysterically, like they were injected with some goofy juice.
THIS IS ODD! I love cinema and the genius that create using this medium, in front of and behind the camera. But in all my years...NOBODY speaks of Diane Keaton in a good way or bad. She simply doesn’t show up on any radar. Now, suddenly...a lifetime achievement award? AND if you're a 75 year old woman with what seems to be a kind of dementia, people generally just tolerate you. They don't criticize your nutty hat and gloves BECAUSE you're JUST OLD. Diane Keaton confuses this silence for tacit approval. Her comic book VILLAIN hat and gloves do not impress as much as startle good taste. Can we all please just stop this nonsense?
