Just FYI... All of the actors in this show are playing white people. John Lawrence was a white man who was hoping to lead a black battalion of freed men. Lafayette was a white man. Hamilton was a white man. They all were white. The whole idea of this show was to bust up the casting norms and open the casting to anyone of any race. It was a wonderful thing.
