Opposite, I think. Hamilton is straight forward, straight paths. Burr is more roundabout. You can see it more in big moments like the one we all know from history at the end. Even in Wait For It, where he stands in relatively one spot, he kinda has this extra little walk before turning around in the part before “I’m not standing still, I’m lying in wait” and then more curved moments, and one that sticks out to me is in The Room Where It Happens when he’s running around a lot
Hamilton walks in straight paths, I kinda mentioned that in the way he almost moves like he's falling over. But Burr, I hadn't thought about that but you're right he does kinda move in very roundabout motions
Hamilton walks in straight lines because he has confidence in his beliefs and knows how to proceed. Burr is always flip flopping around to where he thinks is most profitable for him, like changing parties to boot out Hamilton’s father in law. He’s all over the board.

Given that "Rise up" and "My Shot" have had some huge undercurrents in like every song I can absolutely see Wait For It being one that will continue to make it's way through the musical.
@@YoBGS Just so you know, there is no song in Hamilton called Rise Up. It's just one of the motifs of My Shot. My Shot has 4 distinct motifs that will show up in the future: (using ruclips.net/video/Ic7NqP_YGlg/видео.html for time reference) My Shot (I'm not throwing away my shot, ayo I'm just like my country I'm young, scrappy, and hungry, etc.) (0:00 and basically all throughout) My Shot Anthem (Woah woah, woah-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh, yeah, etc.) (3:09) Rise Up (When you're living on your knees, you rise up, tell your brother that he's gotta rise up, etc.) (3:30) Imagine Death (I imagine death so much it feels more like a memory, when's it gonna get me? In my sleep, seven feet ahead of me? etc.) (3:52)
I always loved this song, and I find Burr's characterization fascinating and very relatable in a strange sense. There's this sense of this huge legacy and all that is important to him - and he is so terrified that he will lose it all that he holds this very rigid, tight control and hesitates in absolutely everything, but convinces himself that it's strategic, rather than fear-based even when it may not be true. He tries his absolute best and spends lots of effort on control and surviving and caution, and then some impulsive "natural" genius bounces on by and just snatches everything you work for out from under you. That is JARRING, and you said it right - Alex is what breaks him! Edit: Also, there's this poignant sadness to the hesitation- he freezes in fear of losing something or breaking it, and in doing so often those things are lost through inaction.
that is 100% correct. even though hamilton and burr have the exact same aspirations for the exact same reasons, their motivations and what drives them is the exact opposite. Hamilton has "nothing to lose" and can allow himself to be brave and push forward (which comes with its own struggles) and Burr "lying in wait" for the best moment to take power and misses all these opportunities.
Leslie Odom Jr has some of the best tracks in the album IMO. Out of all the songs in the play, "Wait for It" is the one I could see the most being played on the radio. There is a mixtape for the musical (which is also phenomenal). If all the songs were unchanged from the original soundtrack, this is the one I'd see myself jamming out to if I'd never seen the play. Leslie also sings my actual favorite song from the play as well, so I'm excited to see you continue your journey through Hamilton!
I think I am the only person who does not love ANY of the songs from the Mix tape. I don't know why. I just think they were amazing how they were originally, there was no reason to redo them. It's kind of insulting and offensive actually...."Yeah it's a great song, but I can do it better" GTFOH!
@@youmadbro7733 Personally, I enjoyed the songs that were more original work rather than the covers of the musical songs (My Shot, Wrote My Way Out, and Immigrants, to name my favorite). I actually didn't really like Usher's cover of this song, but it was interesting to see some of these musical tracks be worked into more radio friendly formats. As for disrespect, since LMM himself wanted and worked on this project (and Hamilton was originally going to be a mixtape), I'd rather not feel disrespected on his behalf.
@@weirdbunmi yeah from what I’ve read, people really like the mixtape. I know it’s just me and my own issue to get over. It’s Quiet Uptown was one of my favorite songs / experiences from this collection. I loved the song, I love Kelly Clarkson (as a person and an artist), I just did not like her singing that song. I don’t know why. I wish I felt differently about it.
@@youmadbro7733 That's valid. Perhaps you liked the more musical arrangement of the songs rather than the radio friendly renditions. As a person who loves musicals and doesn't really listen to the radio, I felt similarly on many of the covers. All the artists on the mixtape are very talented, but there's something in the way the Hamilton cast embodies their characters when they sing (even beyond the original cast members).
I love when talking about this song most people miss how anxious he is actually getting because on the last ‘wait for it’ at the end, he doesn’t wait the bar and a half, he comes in two counts early so we see how impatient he is getting with waiting.
This song and Satisfied are my 2 favorites in the whole show. Leslie Odom Jr deserves the world for his performance as Burr. He is so masterful at conveying the ultimate calculated and determined antagonist. He literally told Hamilton in their first meeting, dont let people know what you think bc theyll use it against you. This is why he is so guarded and keeps his intentions and ambitions to himself. Even when he tried to go for it and told Washington he wanted to help out with the war, he was passed over for Alex. So he has learned to just wait for his perfect moment. Just wait til the Room Where it Happens.

I love wait for it so much! Leslie is so talented! There were SO many talented artists in this production. I became a Leslie Odom Jr fan after watching this performance. And OMG, Daveed!!! Thomas Jefferson re-envisioned. I must have watched Hamilton at least 65 times and I never tire of it!

Video 4: What Comes Next, Dear Theodosia, Video 5: Interlude (if you are following along with the movie I recommend it!), Non-Stop (Act 1 Finale)
@@seven-cats-3 that is a good point! I am going to edit my post!I was just thinking that Non-Stop has a lot going on and didn’t want anything getting missed!
I felt like while History Has It’s Eyes On You goes well with Yorktown it was better with Guns and Ships because musically they transition better where the temp slightly changes for the beginning of Yorktown.
Wait For It is one of my favorite songs in the musical tbh. I love the way Burr describes Hamilton here and the animatics for this song are insane. The one by szin has Burr breaking down and lashing at Hamilton and he retreats into himself expecting Hamilton to lash back, but when he looks up he sees Hamilton raising a glass at him, smiling (has a double meaning that you'll get later). Never fails to make me cry
This is a talented cast, but god-damn is Leslie Odom Jr. god-tier. Excellent singing AND dancing AND acting, it's almost unfair how perfect he is for the theatre XD
Burr is my favorite character and his songs are my favorite, this song absolutely breaks my heart. It's the fear of someone who's lost so much who is afraid of losing more after those who he lost left him nothing but legacy. While Alex has lost so much he does not fear losing anything for the only thing he needs is himself, and so goes forward without hesitation.
I 100% agree, so much so that I actually chose to have my senior yearbook quote be "I am the one thing in life I can control. I am inimitable, I am an original." It's so irritating how many people misunderstand him and misinterpret and misrepresent his behavior. Alexander admitted it himself in "Your Obedient Servant", he had been consistently screwing over Burr for thirty years. Idk how you can acknowledge that someone's grievance is legitimate but still refuse to apologize. Like, having read the actual letters leading up to the duel, I know that Alex kept asking Burr to specify what he is demanding an apology for, but if you're such a shitty person that you need to be told _which_ slanderous statement you made that someone is demanding an apology for, you're definitely the type of person that is gonna get shot by someone at some point. 😆
Hercules was married (and much older) Lafayette was married to his childhood love. and had children John was married (but not happy about it) He got a girl in England pregnant married her out of pitty and hauled ass to the war, before his daughter was born. In fact he never met his child.
I think the historians called him “homosocial”. He stuck with friendships with other males and didn’t branch out. I don’t see how that’s uncommon, especially for back then.
In all honesty, Eliza was the first Maria. Alex was romantically committed to John by the time he met Eliza, so in a way, he cheated on John by marrying Eliza.😂
My absolute favorite song of Act 1, with Satisfied being a close 2nd. Burr having this moment and showing his thought process, allowing himself to slowly show his feelings before abruptly yanking himself back into the proper stature he has is just *chef kiss* 👌
This Burr song is really a fun one and interesting. When it comes to adapting real people into a setting like this there is always the interest of how they show their character. I really like how they are taking the biggest critic people had against Burr (Which was that he could never truely speak his mind and wait for what the majority views ) and making a bug part of his story telling here
I always thought that the two sitting in the chairs that he faces could represent his parents, because if you notice, they come out and sit right about the time that he speaks about them, as well as the third chair- so you have his grandfather, his father and his mother, watching him from beyond the grave, almost as though they're reminding him that he has this legacy that he needs to protect above all else, because that's what they left him when they all passed away. Though, in the same vein, they could also be reminding him in a way, that he can't just sit and wait because they're gone; that his action will further their legacy. Could just be my interpretation though
One thing this musical does so brilliantly, and Wait For It is an excellent example, is exploring how two very divergent viewpoints/attitudes to life circle and interact with each other. There is a fundamental difference between the approaches Hamilton and Burr take as characters here and it’s so intelligently done.
Your channel might be the third channel I've ever hit the notification bell on, but I CANNOT MISS your reactions to these! I adore them, you're so great at this! Can't wait to see more!! Edit: since you're noticing the way the actors hold themselves, I wanted to let you in on a little something: wherever possible, Odom and Miranda tried to alter the way they move on stage, as well. Burr walks in angles and straight lines, and Hamilton in curves, less rigidly. Also, there's a moment at the very end of the musical where each man defies their core tenet ('wait for it' and 'not throwing away my shot') and it's so freaking powerful. There is SO much underlying all of this, to homages to other musicals, rap artists, styles of music, down to the costuming and choices (for example, as Hamilton ages, the QUILLS he uses with Washington 'mature' as well).
Ahhh I love this! Thank you so much for breaking this down! And I appreciate you following along because I’ve been loving taking this scene by scene and trying to find every subtlety and it makes it so much better that folks like you are helping!
Burr's later songs are even better. The Room Where it Happens is stunning and it's where we finally see Burr not wait anymore. Burr is probably the best character. Of course Lin-Manuel Miranda would make the villain of the story its best and most relatable character!
burr is one of my favorite characters in this musical! Leslie does such a good job as burr. I can't wait for you react to the room where it happens, dare I say its better than wait for it.
I really love how much you’re paying attention and analyzing this musical, all the way down to Hamilton’s posture, I’m looking forward to your reaction to the rest of Hamilton
“Wait for it” is one of my top 3 Hamilton songs. The composition, arrangement and performance is perfection. Your observation about the physicality of the two actors is right. Even out of character, in interviews, or in his role on House, Lin’s energy is new puppy. Leslie’s, here and in Person of Interest, which is where I first saw him, is definitely controlled. Made these two absolute yin yang. I saw Miguel Cervantes as Hamilton and Wayne Brady as Burr in Chicago. Both gave excellent performances, but the energy was off. Ham did not feel like he was always running out of time, and A.Burr, did not seem like one to always wait for it. Shifted the tone a bit.
Man, ive been binge-watxhing this series of Hamilton you got! Your reactions remind me of my past self, watching it for the first time, please react to the entire musical!! Your commentary is amazing 😊
"If you love this woman, go get her. What are you waiting for?" HER CURRENT HUSBAND TO BE OUT OF THE PICTURE, ALEX. THAT MAY NOT BE AN ISSUE FOR YOU, BUT IT IS FOR MOST PEOPLE.
I love the story of tonight reprise! It is such a fun little scene between satisfied and wait for it which are such big hitters! A fun fact about it is that Lin Manuel Miranda has referred to it as the stressful moment when your high school and college friends meet for the first time! 😂
One thing I love about Hamilton is how the songs as so well put in order to give the story the right pacing and rhythm. I'm saying this mostly because The Story of Tonight Reprise is just a fantastic "bridge" between Satisfied and Wait for It in terms of energy. It helps both songs to stand out in their own right. I'm always giggling at the part where Laurens starts teasing Burr and even more at the "Oh shit!" 😂 And what else to say about Wait for It???? Lesie is a gift to this world and his Tony was SO deserved. You were spot on with your analysis about him right before the song, and you do really want to listen whenever he speaks. I'm sure you'll love his future songs 🤭 For the next video, surely the next three songs you mentioned go together and, if possible, you should include That would be enough too. Those four are rather shorter songs and lead straight one into the another. It would be roughly 9 mins of songs, similar to the Winter's Ball/Helpless/Satisfied split. We are nearing some of my fave songs, can't wait to see your reactions!
so, wait for it is my favorite song on this whole show. being an anxious person i'm also always waiting for it, out of fear, carefulness and so on. But seeing it put so plainly on words was something else. cried a lot.
Little fun fact about the story of tonight reprise, if your wondering why John says “but I’ve seen wonders great and small” and gestures to Alex’s **nose** and looks straight at him while he says “lets have another round”. In real life John actually didn’t go to the wedding because of jelousy, after Hamilton sent his “wedding” invitation literally asking John to have sex with him after the party. “Let me tell you, that I intend to restore the empire of Hymen and that *Cupid* is to be his prime Minister. I wish you were at liberty to transgress the bounds of Pensylvania. I would invite you after the fall to Albany to be witness to *the final consummation.* ”
I don't know if you should watch this before finishing the whole show for possible spoilers, but I would suggest watching the episode on Song Exploder on Netflix about "Wait For It". It's all about how Lin wrote it, how it was arranged for the show, etc. Fascinating look at how he was trying to dig into Burr's mind.
To quote an interview of Lin Manuel Miranda: "I sang the melody into the iPhone, then I went to the guy's party for 15 minutes, and wrote the rest of the song on the train back home." - he wrote the freakin song in ONE NIGHT! He's a genius and Leslie Odom Jr was definitely the perfect person to execute this masterpiece.
"she's married" we can work with that "She's married to a british officer" FUUUUUU- He's more concerned about the british officer part then the married part and it kills me every time.
I agree with what you're saying about Burr breaking down but he doesn't fully do that until the room where it happens you got some time to go before then
Burr's father was I believe the president of Princeton at one point, he was at least in a position of power at Princeton, and the reason he is so cautious is best explained in "Wait For It" when he says that Hamilton "has something to prove, he has nothing to lose." Burr has the burden of protecting his family's legacy, where as Hamilton comes to New York from the West Indies and has no status, therefore he has to build himself up and prove himself.
These Hamilton reaction videos are so fun to watch, I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy them so much but I'm so happy I decided to watch them! Wait For It hits me so hard every time I listen to it, I get so emotional. The lyrics, the music, the way they perform it!! Absolutely loved your reaction to it
I'm enjoying watching you experience this for the first time. I'm mad I have to wait for the next episode, knowing all the greatness you're going to see.
You are spot on about Burr! You noticed how rigid he is, Leslie Odom Jr even walked in straight lines and sharp angles, until he lets his guard down; first in “Wait For It” and finally in “The Room Where It Happens”
I keep making connections when rewatching these. "It takes, and it takes, and it takes." Is quite similar to a line from Alex in "Take A Break", "Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day." which is Macbeth, and the line is Macbeth pondering suicide.
"You are the worst Burr" and "Well I heard you gotta special someone on the side Burr, what are you tryna hide Burr" are my favorite lines in Story of Tonight Reprise, the delivery is 100% on point🔥🔥
If you haven't already, I suggest you go back and watch the Disney plus show up through Wait For It before going ahead. Note that Burr is telling us this story, and this is the last of the "introduction songs" (of the 1st half), so they've established the primary motifs. Now they get more into the story itself. I hope you enjoy the ride.😊
You make a very good point when mentioning how reserved Leslie is as Burr at the beginning. When I'm home alone and listening to this, I go all in. And yes, I do attempt to also sing the company echoing his lines.
I love that you are picking up on the subtle nuances of body language that absolutely are a part of these characters. Can't wait for you to see how this all plays out.
For the next reaction, check out Stay Alive, Ten Duel Commandments, Meet Me Inside and That Would Be Enough :) That Would Be Enough is a continuation after the 3 songs
You should react to "Stay alive" "Ten Duel Commandmend" and "Meet me inside" a one block, they're all relitevly short songs that tie directly into each other
Wait For It makes me feel so crazy (in a good way) cause like. Burr and Hamilton are two sides of a coin. They have very similar situations when you think about it. They're both orphans who have little to their name. But what they do is opposite. Hamilton has nothing, so he takes every opportunity he can. Burr has lost so much and he's afraid to lose anything else, so he keeps to himself and waits for the right moment. Also, maybe Hercules looked so sad because his bro Alex won't be able to hang out as much? idk haha
Something that I saw Lin Manuel talk about is the body posture and they way Alexander and Aaron move on stage. One moves in straight lines and one moves in circles. It was intentional to match the characters.
Yeah Wait for it is one of my favorite songs from this show it perfectly matches Burr’s character here. And Leslie’s voice is so soothing to listen to.
idk if it's been mentioned and I missed it but I want to shout out Alex Lacamoire for the orchestrations you were noticing at the beginning ~ another genius tbh
Idk if you have been told this, but in the intro music to "Alexander Hamilton" and other songs that have that, the violin (could be a viola, IDFK) at the end sounds like a door opening. A bit of a spoiler, but in the final song that intro is used, "The World Was Wide Enough", you hear almost the same thing, except there is a percussion thud at the end, presumably to represent Burr's political opportunities having the door closed on them.
When you get the chance please react to the other four Encanto songs "What Else can I do?" "All of you" "Dos oruguitas" and "Waiting On a Miracle" I'd love to see your reaction!
At the end, Burr says "Wait for it." quietly, as if he's ACTUALLY waiting for something, even holding his finger up. But the song just ends, there isn't another big drop. He's so used to getting what he wants by waiting for it that when the only way to succeed is to step up and act, he just waits, and that's what made him fall into the shadows while Alexander Hamilton became a big name.
In addition to another Burr song to come (in Act II), Lin Manuel Miranda said at the time that “Wait For It” and one other song are the two best songs he’s ever written, and Leslie Odom Jr. got to sing both of them. There’s a reason the dude won the Tony.
It makes sense that the big drop wouldn’t arrive in wait for it because his philosophy is to wait for it. He doesn’t drop it, he’s waiting for someone else to do it

4:52 "It's very interesting to me that Burr has not yet had a chance where the guard comes down"
Next song: Wait For It
Leslie Odom Jr has some of the best tracks in the album IMO.
@@youmadbro7733 Usher did amazing with his version of WFI tho😅
EDIT: If this channel reaches 100k subs by the time I finish "Hamilton" - I will cosplay as any Hamilton character you vote on and perform one song you vote on from Hamilton. On that note, consider subscribing!
How good is Leslie Odom, Jr and why is the answer THE BEST? Thanks for checking out this video and going on this journey for me. If you had fun, please subscribe to make sure more folks can see this! Have a GREAT DAY!
Yes.
There's a reason why he won the Tony.
I saw him in concert in 2018 during the Burlington Jazz Festival, and he's just as fantastic with his original music. I'm pretty sure I cried
Next you need to do Stay Alive, the Ten Duel Commandments, and Meet me Inside all in one video
@@emmettmcnally740 There was a fundraiser here in Pittsburgh where he attended college (CMU, husband's school too!), and man I couldn't afford the tickets but I would have loved to go! He is *phenomenal*. One person pointed out after the D+ version came out that they wondered if he added some subtlety because the camera was closer than it would be on stage. He's definitely smart enough to have done that! Looking forward to seeing Room Where It Happensssssss
I love wait for it so much! Leslie is so talented!
This is how I would break up the next songs btw:
(Stay alive, 10 duel commandments, meet me inside, that would be enough)
(Guns and ships, history has its eyes on you, yorktown the world turned upside down)
(What comes next, dear theodosia, Lauren's interlude)
(Non stop)
That will take u to the end of act 1
I wholeheartedly second this.
Yes yes yes thank you so much for these, I've been living off this info because I REEEEEEALLY don't wanna spoil this bc I'm so invested in it now lol
@@YoBGS I'm so glad u r enjoying this! It's my favourite musical, and it's so fun to rewatch it with u
@@YoBGS I've got a list typed up for all of act 2 (i actually borrowed it from the comments of another guy reacting to hamilton rn)
I'll hang on to it a little longer until we get closer to act 2, but if you want it now to save for later I've got you! :]
@@YoBGS this guy gave you entire menu. For next video,
Stay Alive, Ten Duel Commandments, Meet me Inside, That would be enough
Yes, you need to do 4 songs. However, they are really short.
I LOVE that you're paying attention to their postures and stance. Something to watch for is Burr only walks in straight lines, while Hamilton always has a curve to his path. While paying attention to this, you can spot some very important character development. Great reaction, as always!
There were SO many talented artists in this production. I became a Leslie Odom Jr fan after watching this performance. And OMG, Daveed!!! Thomas Jefferson re-envisioned. I must have watched Hamilton at least 65 times and I never tire of it!
My suggestion for a breakdown of the rest of Act 1 would be:
Video 1: Stay Alive, 10 Duel Commandments, Meet Me Inside
Video 2: That Would Be Enough, Guns and Ships, History Has It’s Eyes On You
Video 3: Yorktown (this is a big song that I recommend doing alone!)
Video 4: What Comes Next, Dear Theodosia,
Video 5: Interlude (if you are following along with the movie I recommend it!), Non-Stop (Act 1 Finale)
I would recommend that history has its eyes on you and yorktown be together, and just keeping that would be enough and guns and ships
I agree with Steel Base. History Has it’s Eyes on You and Yorktown gel together really well. Keep those two together.
maybe the interlude together with non-stop? it'd take a bit longer, but it makes character motivation clearer
Burr is definitely the best character in the play. All of his songs are amazing.
Hercules was married (and much older)
Lafayette was married to his childhood love. and had children
John was married (but not happy about it) He got a girl in England pregnant married her out of pitty and hauled ass to the war, before his daughter was born. In fact he never met his child.
Don’t think Hercules was jealous of Hamilton, but John Lauren’s may have been jealous of Eliza.
Oh I know, if anything I was just kinda making fun of the face he made thinking about not getting to be a bachelor anymore lol
Scrolled the comments just to find this😄
I think the historians called him “homosocial”.
"It's very interesting to me that Burr has not yet had a chance where the guard comes down".
Wait for it....
This Burr song is really a fun one and interesting. When it comes to adapting real people into a setting like this there is always the interest of how they show their character. I really like how they are taking the biggest critic people had against Burr (Which was that he could never truely speak his mind and wait for what the majority views ) and making a bug part of his story telling here
"When the dam breaks, I'm very concerned about what's gonna happen." I mean, Burr told us in the very beginning what happens when his dam breaks.
"Don't let them know what you're against or what you're for." - Aaron Burr, a first generation modern politician.
Wait for it is my personal favorite song from the entire musical, glad you enjoyed it too man!
The casting for the OG cast is just superb!
Oh you will love The Room Where It Happened in act 2!
I'm sure you'll love his future songs 🤭
For the next video, surely the next three songs you mentioned go together and, if possible, you should include That would be enough too.
I actually had "I am the one thing in life I can control. I am inimitable, I am an original." as my senior yearbook quote.
Aint that a 3some? Like Eliza, John doesn't like sharing either
*W H A T*
I mean, I was aware of their relationship but damn, John was a petty twink. 🤣
Thanks for this, just watched it! Fascinating!
Agreed, but also took him an entire year to write My shot
When you get to "The Room Where it Happens" go back and rewatch/review all your feelings about Burr here first. :D
"she's married" we can work with that
"She's married to a british officer" FUUUUUU-
He's more concerned about the british officer part then the married part and it kills me every time.
Loved your reaction at 11:20. That is my favorite part of this song. It is also why this is one of my favorite songs.
I am loving your Hamilton reactions! Your attention to the little things like their stances is so fantastic!
I agree with what you're saying about Burr breaking down but he doesn't fully do that until the room where it happens you got some time to go before then
Aaron Burr-centric songs are some of my favourite in the entire musical
"when the damn breaks, i'm very concerned about what is going to happen." coughduelcough
Leslie has become one of my favorites mostly because of this number
Wait until you see "the room where it happens " in there you will se how good he is!
Wait for it Is one of my Favorite songs in Hamilton it’s so frikin good 😪✨✨✨
Absolutely loved your spot that it's talking about Alexander that gets Burr animated and moving, not Theodosia. I'd never thought of that
These Hamilton reaction videos are so fun to watch, I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy them so much but I'm so happy I decided to watch them!
Funny true historical fact: Aaron Burr once tried to light a gun on fire. The way historians know about it? He wrote about it in his journal.
Some little historical facts:
By this time, Hercules, Lafayette and Laurens were already married. And Laurens didn't go to Alexander's wedding
"You are the worst Burr" and "Well I heard you gotta special someone on the side Burr, what are you tryna hide Burr" are my favorite lines in Story of Tonight Reprise, the delivery is 100% on point🔥🔥
The next three are amazing
My absolute favorite song from Hamilton.
I like the use of pictures of the original cast with the other cast being mixed in.
For the next reaction, check out Stay Alive, Ten Duel Commandments, Meet Me Inside and That Would Be Enough :) That Would Be Enough is a continuation after the 3 songs
I can’t wait for more Hamilton from you!
GOOD! Nice to see you react to my favorite song! Can't wait for the next reactions! Let's keep the Hamilton wave going
I LOVE Hamilton and retro video games. Your background reminds me of DK Oldies.
I may or may not have had my senior year high school yearbook quote be "I am the one thing in life I can control. I am inimitable, I am an original."
You should react to "Stay alive" "Ten Duel Commandmend" and "Meet me inside" a one block, they're all relitevly short songs that tie directly into each other
I can't wait until you get to Dear Theodosia. Puts me to tears, I swear
I don’t even mind the pauses 😂 I love the input all the time
"I am the one thing in life I can control" is the one line that sums up Burr perfectly for me
"Aww they're gonna end it there???"
You heard the man, you gotta wait for it
Wait till "The Room Where It Happens". Leslie Odom give it his all.
Yay! Enjoying these so much.
I was absolutely echoing the "wait for it" lyrics and DAMN proud of it
that rise up in wait for it makes me think of someone singing behind a door, then kicking that door open and entering the room.
5:11 he wasn’t ready for the second half of this video 😭😂
After multiple rewatch, Wait for It is my favorite song here!! :)
Wait for it is one of my favorite Hamilton songs of all time
I fucking love these reactions man please keep them up
Idk if you have been told this, but in the intro music to "Alexander Hamilton" and other songs that have that, the violin (could be a viola, IDFK) at the end sounds like a door opening. A bit of a spoiler, but in the final song that intro is used, "The World Was Wide Enough", you hear almost the same thing, except there is a percussion thud at the end, presumably to represent Burr's political opportunities having the door closed on them.
Wait for it is hands down the best song in Hamilton, I love that one so much
I bet Hamilton try to hold in his laugh during the song was genuine because of Laurens.
You got a new subscriber! I love the way your take on things.
When you get the chance please react to the other four Encanto songs "What Else can I do?" "All of you" "Dos oruguitas" and "Waiting On a Miracle" I'd love to see your reaction!
Yes Hercules mulligan got married in 1773 and Hamilton got married in 1780
At the end, Burr says "Wait for it." quietly, as if he's ACTUALLY waiting for something, even holding his finger up.
