I loved every minute. Dame Edna is an Icon wonderful, funny, intelligent Barry Humphries. But I love for a long long time Cliff Richards. Wonderful artist & character. God bless you both.
Dame Edna is NOT a "drag queen" who exist to degrade and mock women in gender blackfaze. He is portraying a unique character, which makes him one of the very rare and few males in women's clothing that is actually entertaining.
@@KaliMaaaaa Thanks for making this important point. Dame Edna is of course one of several characters developed by the greatly talented Barry Humphries, and not a drag queen. Some people are still slightly put off by a man dressing as a woman, though - even as part of an act. And the less we say about Sir Les Paterson's ties the better...
Brilliant, witty man. RIP Barry Humphries. You brought joy and laughter to millions of people. What a legacy !
Pure genius sadly missed. Rest in peace 🙏🕊️

@@tonyneal4716 Thanks for letting me know. So sad he is gone.
Cliff is the best..thanks cliff
Ha! He has always been utterly embarrassing to watch with his affected mimes and theatrical gestures.....miming of course.
Mary Whitehouse actually had a pretty good soh.
Yeah Sean Connery isn't on here can't be because he passed away is it?
Quite obviously, this was shot years prior to his passing.
Rest in peace,
@@mortalclown3812 I knew that you plum but im sure he was on that episode 🙄
I must admire Barry Humphries for how naturally he walks in high heels. I must also say that Sean Connery without a script, seems a boring old fart.
He always was. A boring old fart with a laughable syrup.
Does anybody know how they managed to get Mary Whitehouse to appear on this? I would have thought Ms. Whitehouse would not approve of drag acts.
Good question but possibly it’s good PR for Mary Whitehouse if she doesn’t want to come across as a complete fuddy duddy.
