Great vid! Thank you, are you planning on mod it further ? Like new keycaps and different foams? I really like the top case on keychron and want to buy it but not sure about sound. It would be great if you provide such a video. Is there any different options for plates ?
Thank you for watching! I plan to mod it further eventually, but won't be able to do so for a bit. I'll let you know if/when I come around to it 🌞 There are no other plate options for the Q60, as far as I know.
Just found your channel recently and have binging your videos. This is the exact keyboard I've been looking at buying and keep going back in forth between the cream blues and vintages whites. If you have the chance to upload another q60 video and could use the vintage whites in them it would be greatly appreciated.
@@TAZAKEY sheesh any day now haha. My only concern is modding the space bar as I’m not experienced at all in doing stuff like that but I currently use the Leopold 660c and that one is a little rattlely too if I try hard enough
@@poorcollegekid The spacebar is a little harder to tune imo because it's longer than standard. The Leopold 660c is honestly a great board as well (I also use Topre as daily driver), but yeah this Q60 should also be good fun to play around with :- ) I'll try my best to film and upload a quick sound test in the next few days!
@@TAZAKEY sounds good thank you and ya love my topre, was a big upgrade from the ducky imo but kinda want something metal that doesnt heavily break the bank and that I dont have to assemble. Oh question, the barebones option for the q60 just means I push in my own switches and keycaps but otherwise its ready out the box no?
@@poorcollegekid Yes that's right - you would need to get your own switches and keycaps. One thing to look out for is to make sure the keycap set you end up purchasing fits the Keychron Q60, which has an atypical spacebar size).
