thanks, first i took some measurements, then i used paperboard or thin cardboard to cut and fold since its easier to work with, and once i get a piece with nice fitment, i use that piece as a template to trace onto a sheet of steel, cut that piece out, fold and grind off the rough edges, mount it and make some adjustments, then paint it with high temp black paint, what bike do you ride?
there are three mounting points, the two bolts directly in front of the piece, and that just mounts flat between the fairing and black trim piece, then theres one you cant really see, but theres a bolt that mounts the top fold onto a bracket that i made, and that bracket attaches to the old premuffler bracket thats on the bike, i know its kind of hard to imagine, but if i get some time maybe i'll take some more detailed pics, are you running slash cut style exhaust too?
Thanks brother! I can't wait to try this out. I'm riding a 2012 zX6r. Did you mount the cover to the frame or fairing?

Could you give me a few pointers on how you made the finished exhaust cover piece? It looks great!
