Probably a firefighter. They already breathe in all types of chemicals on the job whats a petroleum based product on top of that haha. Besides, firefighters are covered for pretty much every type of cancer.
this should be an option for the frame and exposed metal underneath vehicles when you buy them. the undercoating dealers offer is crap and just a moneygrab. if this really works and is as durable as claimed, people would pay top dollar in northern states to have their frame done because of how terrible the salting every winter is on cars. i know i would.
Dang I’m doing this to my Silverado and here Iam sanding to bare metal and I bought different kind of sanders to make it easy 😳🙄🙄 and I see this barely sanded, I’m just gonna spray it now
Bought a truck with a bed liner on top of a line x spray and I wondered why the bed liner? The previous owner tried to hide the failures of the application. The shop he used wasn’t a legit application garage. Beware if you inherit or purchase one yourself
Had linex installed on my new 2012 long bed , peeled off , I can scrap it with my finger nail ! Pure crap job on prep , contacted them and nope no warranty , thx wpg linex
Like you said, it's the prep. If you contact corporate, they would probably help you. My neighbor's kid did that. Cost him a drive to Alabama but they replaced it.
Excuseme Mr Billy what is the mark and model of the equiped your used for aplication of the painting. I am very interesed in one quiped of this caracteristics. Tank you by attention.
I used to do Perma-tech back about 10 years ago, it's similar to rhino-liner, not doing it anymore so I have no reason to promote. I'll say I've seen many Line-X , perma-tech, Rhino-liners, they(any major brand) hold up exceptionally well as long as bed is prepped right to start with. I have two trucks I did 18 years ago, aside from a few very minor chips, approx 4 about size of fingernail and a little fading, they've held up well. I could probably use some kind of restoration stuff on them and they'd look better. But Yeah, great investment.
It fades after a while, but so what? I had it sprayed on those silly looking huge chrome "boobs" on my 09 LTZ, masking off a clean lline just below the fog lamps. Big improvement in the looks of the truck. After a couple hundred times through the car wash, the fans at the drying end loosened up the membrane a little, so I epoxied it back. All seems OK now. The chrome on those boobs is a little slick for holding the linex.
St. Louis Line-X charged me $520. considering my rubber bed mat that covers the bottom surface only is $140, this is something I should have had done immediately and not 2 years down the road.
I used to spray in permatech, similar to rhino. Armor all is oil based so it will be slick as shit, STP Son-Of-A-Gun is water based and not as slick, that's what the manufacturers recommend on these spray in liners.
They dont sell this in kits , You have to go where they spray it on for you and charge for spraying. Does anybody know where you can buy a gallon or a kit?
Thanks Ben ,I recently went with raptor line and did my ranger ,whole truck except the inside of bed , comes with harder and color tint. 6 25 oz bottles go it done and Im happy with it. used a low pressurized sprayer from harborfreight and worked out great.
UNDERCOATING I just had my frame replaced by Toyota and the tech guy said if it was his he would have it undercoated I know Line-x was made for bed liners but some are using it for undercoating Fender wells, bottom of the bed, cab .. so hard to get to. No matter how great the product * If the surface was not clean * If the spray could not get to the surface No undercoating would be effective... So what steps would a linex shop do to prep and spray under a truck body, the frame ect ?
It makes you die! Use a OE drop in liner, handles impact so much better and do not need to remove your factory rust and corrosion warranty from the manufacture. I'll spray paint your bed for $400.00 if you want? We can do the bowling ball test and see who wins, it won't be the spray in!
The Line-X I went to said they usually spray over them. I pulled the plugs out and snapped them back in later. I had already pulled the removable tie points.
Wont it fade after time and look like crap? Possibly peal? And omg that has got to be hard to watch, someone scuffen up a brand new truck bed, lol. Of course if up use it unprotected that's much worse.
Nice vid
Can't believe that dude was sanding the clear coat with no mask.
Young dudes and their arrogant invincibility posturing, then they get cancer and here comes the lawsuit🙄
Well...he wont last long
Kids are kind of dumb these days, just saying.
Not a big deal since he drinks hardener and eats fiberglass with mustard on top.
Probably a firefighter.
They already breathe in all types of chemicals on the job whats a petroleum based product on top of that haha.

Nice, I can finally cover up the screen door in my submarine.

Ya but then you would never buy a truck again they are not going to do that option
Linex seals anything and everything permanent. You wouldn't be able to unbolt anything under your vehicle ever again
Dang I’m doing this to my Silverado and here Iam sanding to bare metal and I bought different kind of sanders to make it easy 😳🙄🙄 and I see this barely sanded, I’m just gonna spray it now
Can use this on flat roof top is it available in India
He said it 2 component polyurethan (PU)...
This is polyurea (PUA)
worked there 3 years, why is he not doing the rails from the side??
does it come in pink or any color other than black?
shylildude It actually does! Tyler, your a fucken douche bag

where do you get this line-x coating to buy
Make sure you check out the race trailer that was Line-Xed a few years ago. Looks like new still.
Price $$$&
8 yrs later... does lineX spray different colors other than black?
I work at a Line X that shoots 10 plus trucks a day and that sprayer takes way too long
why was the clear coat shown but not the texture process, thats the tricky part (worked there 3 years)
Bought a truck with a bed liner on top of a line x spray and I wondered why the bed liner? The previous owner tried to hide the failures of the application. The shop he used wasn’t a legit application garage. Beware if you inherit or purchase one yourself

That sucks.
Like you said, it's the prep. If you contact corporate, they would probably help you. My neighbor's kid did that. Cost him a drive to Alabama but they replaced it.
I really want a linex Bed liner. It looks so nicez
Just got my duramax done
DirtyJDiesel does it come off ?
Excuseme Mr Billy what is the mark and model of the equiped your used for aplication of the painting. I am very interesed in one quiped of this caracteristics. Tank you by attention.
When the suspension part is totally new, how to apply linex ? Should I prepare surface somehow before spray ?
Has anyone thought of making captain America's shield out of this stuff?
What are the four holes on the corners of the bed?
I noticed all liners have them doesn't water get into that?
For a latch hold down
Im in sunnyvale, where's this place at and how much to do 2016 chevy colorado long box? thanks!
Didn’t know you were from Bako until the end of the video lol. I’m planing on getting my bed sprayed soon. I wonder how well it holds up

There's also one in El cajon the boss name is Patrick Conway manager scott
What grit sanding disk is he using?
I think k that's the same Graco sprayer they use for spray foam insulation
I love this stuff. you can sell some good phone cases.
hi what graco reactor are you using to spray
BRAVO !!!!
i really like this. 1.5 hours and this place over here in FT Worth, TX wanted to charge me $600. WTF...........
Lol ya, I kno rite, it should b more like 50 dollas plus tree fiddy for the bus.
The cost is in the chemicals, I assure you.
how much does that cost?
How much?!
where his protection?
They sprayed over the plastic plugs on the bedside. Not a good Idea.
First thing I noticed...
I wanna do this to my truck, but I don't want to go to town with a sander on the back of it, and drop ins suck.
It's worth it, if they don't sand it it will peel like crazy
Hey man where are you located i whould i really want to do this to my truck.
There's this thing called a phone you enter linex dealers
On your maps
Yeah, if you want to go to this specific one... it’s Bakersfield Line-X
Chrome boobs? You mean the bumper caps on the front? Just get the painted ones, they look more classy.
Price? How much this one CO$T?
St. Louis Line-X charged me $520. considering my rubber bed mat that covers the bottom surface only is $140, this is something I should have had done immediately and not 2 years down the road.
What maintenance is recommended ? armor all ?
I used to spray in permatech, similar to rhino. Armor all is oil based so it will be slick as shit, STP Son-Of-A-Gun is water based and not as slick, that's what the manufacturers recommend on these spray in liners.
How much would it cost to Line-x a whole JK wrangler? 2dr
Cheaper to do it your self
Diesel Lozano where do you get the line-x from?
Probably about $2,500 - $3,500
If you call the Murfreesboro Tennessee location, the owner did her whole Jeep but I think it's a 4 door. She could give you some idea.
I was like holy crap did he just say Gallo winery... Then he said Fresno and I was like no freaking way..
darkmente14 Martin Fresnos lit
this is awesome how much would it cost 🤔
500
Depends on the state but usually around $550-$650 depending on what all is sprayed I work at 2 Line X
They dont sell this in kits , You have to go where they spray it on for you and charge for spraying. Does anybody know where you can buy a gallon or a kit?
+sonny Godly you can get paint tins of it, various brands, herculiner seems to be the big one, you just roll it on like paint.
Thanks Ben ,I recently went with raptor line and did my ranger ,whole truck except the inside of bed , comes with harder and color tint. 6 25 oz bottles go it done and Im happy with it. used a low pressurized sprayer from harborfreight and worked out great.
put this stuff on tires!!
I don’t think that would be a good idea
Raptor liner keh
UNDERCOATING
I just had my frame replaced by Toyota and the tech guy said if it was his he would have it undercoated
I know Line-x was made for bed liners but some are using it for undercoating
Fender wells, bottom of the bed, cab .. so hard to get to.
No matter how great the product
* If the surface was not clean
* If the spray could not get to the surface
No undercoating would be effective...
So what steps would a linex shop do to prep and spray under a truck body, the frame ect ?
Degrease and scuff the finish so the liner has something to bond to, don't take it down to metal.
Where in Bakersfield is the location?
Isaak Ayala California Fresno is also California
Sanding without a dust mask and goggles is not only stupid, it is also illegal as it violates OSHA rules.
Agreed, workmans comp claim waiting to happen! He lived a good young life.
I want to use this for bottom paint
Отличная штука. Только оборудование дороговатое
PM&PPU А где можно достать эту херню, не знаешь?
Mongol Shikho привет. Вот здесь pmppu.ru/oborudovanie-dlya-napyleniya-penopoliuretana-i-polimocheviny/pnevmopistolety/voelkel-industrial-products/
You’d be fired at the one I work at NEVER GET IN THE BED that’s risky
But will they line x my drumset?
what's the effect of this spray on human skin ..
makes it more tougher and durable
You become a superhero.
It makes you die! Use a OE drop in liner, handles impact so much better and do not need to remove your factory rust and corrosion warranty from the manufacture. I'll spray paint your bed for $400.00 if you want? We can do the bowling ball test and see who wins, it won't be the spray in!

Yes
If you spray this on a Nokia the world would collapse
The line x dude sounds like Ben Shapiro.

Sprayed over the caps.Happened to me.How are u supposed to tie shit down
The Line-X I went to said they usually spray over them. I pulled the plugs out and snapped them back in later. I had already pulled the removable tie points.
polyurea paint
Wont it fade after time and look like crap? Possibly peal? And omg that has got to be hard to watch, someone scuffen up a brand new truck bed, lol. Of course if up use it unprotected that's much worse.
They sell a UV coating now. Keeps it looking pretty much new. I've experienced no peeling.
Bako
I came here to talk shit....looks like I beat myself to it.
