    Hey bro any tips on catching snook and whitting from a beach or rocks?

    • @JEFFISH
      @JEFFISH  4 года назад

      For snook, wait till winter and follow the stuff in my older snook vid.
      Reliably targeting king george whiting off the rocks and beach is always difficult but I would recommend a calmer day, a 9-12ft rod and going to 'o' sullivan or outer harbour breakwaters and using squid strips or cockles as bait.
      Yellowfin are off season now and this year hasn't yielded them well either. Its best to wait till next summer.

    Hey mate thanks for the video, great help for a beginner. Any tips on where to go squid fishing in winter time - any of the jettys or in Marion rocks?

    • @JEFFISH
      @JEFFISH  4 года назад +1

      Winter is difficult. You have to go on a day where the water is clear, starting from Brighton jetty, every jetty South from this is good. The rocks are tricky/less comfortable in the cold.

    Hey mate what time is that during the day ?

    • @JEFFISH
      @JEFFISH  3 года назад

      Usually its luck based off the rocks and you have to fish until a school comes past. This video had them around 4pm but I suggest going at sunrise or sunset.

    Also when best time for squid like tides and wind ect...

    • @JEFFISH
      @JEFFISH  4 года назад

      I wrote down the other details in the description.
      I recommend sunrise to about 11am on most days. A falling tide is best at the rocks.
