We shared a lot of interests over the years, and he was always a really good friend, while still being a good dad. RIP bud... I'll come back to this video every year and think of you... I hope you're out there, somewhere... And thank you Steve for providing in your videos a bunch of great opportunities for me and the old man to take a break from our busy lives and spend quality time together. I know you likely won't read this comment due to the age of the video. But it had to be said. To everyone else... Spend time with your loved ones whenever you can. Don't ever be "too busy" to visit, or travel for Thanksgiving or some other holiday.. Make time even if you have to inconvenience yourself to do so.. Don't ever say "well, I'll do it next year" or "we'll get together next time".. Hope all is well ste! we'r all waiting on one of your a world class reviews hear in Ireland pal 👍🇮🇪
This Chanel is something I’m thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving everyone
When you're reading out the different menu options and the music intensifies, you know it's serious.
Steve, I’d love to see the rest of these meals. Thank you for all your hard work.
and people probably wonder why they never see him at the grocery store.
Lol
🤣
I think you are the only person reviewing food related products that didn't get fat. In fact I see you are in good shape.
Don’t forget ‘review brah’ from Report of the Week. That young man weighs, at most, 120 pounds soaking wet.
Steve, I don't know if you'll be back. But I wanted to take a minute to just thank you for all of the memorable content. You were a legend in my opinion. The countless hours of informative & interesting videos about things I would have never experienced otherwise. Thank you sir.
Maybe he's dead
Steve has most badass retro T-shirt collection.
I can't get enough of Steve's voice. Sooooo calming.
Seen pretty much all your videos and coming back around again because your videos really cheer me up during these dark times. Thanks for everything Steve.
As Les Stroud says “Want to eat good food ? don’t eat for 24 hours, ANYTHING is good food”
Hunger makes everything delicious like Gordon Ramsay 's dishes.
LOL, Les is the man! Love it when he hasn't eaten in days, then chomps down on a piece of maggot infested wood and goes...MMMMM SO GOOD!!!!
Saw the notification dropped everything for this man
I find it so funny that this guy reviews/ tastes MRES for a living and has almost 2 million subscribers doing it AND has fun. Love the content🤘🏼
You been lifting during quarantine steve? You're jacked.
"That is a melt in your mouth, shelf stable fudge" That just doesn't sound right!
I just think “shelf stable” is one of those phrases that always has ominous vibes.
I was looking over the videos list, checking each one to see if I have seen it when I made the discovery that I had missed this one when it was released, so even though its well over two years old I get to enjoy it like it was just released!! What a find, its like Christmas!!!
STEVE HOW DO WE WATCH BOTH UPLOADS INSTANTLY WHEN THEY DROP AT THE SAME TIME
by getting it out onto a tray!

I’m currently a uk mariner and seeing what all different countries rations are makes me so interested because our 24hour pack is completely different thanks Steve for showing me different packs keep the good work up brother 💪🏻💪🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🏴🏴
I’m from the uk too, and your service is much appreciated (even though I’m a year late 🙈)
@@scarlettroger1508 I really appreciate your comment scarlett it means a lot for me and my co workers
I just realized I watch these vids for your narration more than the rations now... Thanks for the great content all these years, hope you're doing well :)
Me in prison in the food line: alright lets get this out onto a tray. Nice!
Then sit down an imitate Steve eating your entire meal lolol
🤣 I’m so doing this In the chow hall tomorrow!
Sir Steve of MRE’s, I am patiently awaiting your return. I just haven’t slept right the past 4 months. Cannot wait to see what’s up your sleeve. 💙
i'll never forget the first cold weather MRE i had back in the USMC days. it was a feast!!!! with a brownie!!!! i was in heaven
Florida Man eats non perishable Mexican food on Thanksgiving.
RUclips rejoices!
Okinawa man
@@ጭስዋሪማና *Jesus
look at his hair 12:30
Oh, he's a Florida man. That makes so much sense!
@@JezzmanGAMES Steve1989 is the hero we need in these trying times
@@JezzmanGAMES Yep, he's from Central Florida. For those who don't know, that's where most of the Florida Man content comes from.
I like to imagine Steve got a haircut that is too short for his liking and that's why he hasnt posted in a while. He's just waiting for it to grow long again and pretend nothing happened. Lol
He tried gorilla glue hairspray
1 month after bad haircut: “nice.”
Why does a Mexican MRE have English writing all over it??
@@bd8439 what? This is Mexican style chicken not a Mexican MRE lmao
@@_Dat_Edgy_Boi_ 🤣🤣🤣 Yo my bad.. I might have had a couple drinks before browsing RUclips
I like how much information he's able to give so easily about the MREs. I also like the fun little cup music taping edits haha
Man, I didn't read the title that well and I thought you had found a Mexican MRE.
Never seen one so if you manage to find one would be super cool.
I've seen them. They're basically tamales wrapped in plastic, shrink wrap, and a vacuume bag.
@@casemcdonald2152 well, I saw a video once but it just looked like a trash bag filled with candy and canned food and I know SEDENA and SEMAR ain't the greatest but they ain't that big of an asshole to pull that.
So I guess I'll take it just with a grain of salt.
I live here in Mexico. I have asked a few soldiers here if they have MREs or something similar that I could buy. They answered that they have a meal truck that goes with them everywhere or they have a supply truck with fresh food, and they have to cook their own meals. If they do get them, they are from the US.
@@jankoehler3527 well, fuck me, SEDENA is way worse than what I expected.
@@abriannaaguilera2123 Here in cdmx, I see a lot of the supply trucks buying their supplies anywhere from SAMs, Costco, Walmart to all the way from the central market. Trucks full veggies, meat, beans, rice and random items. If I remember correctly, I was once told that the Sedna has a daily allowance of a few pesos per day aloted for food per soldier. If I am not mistaken it was something like 8-10. In some cases it's goes to like 3-5. But that was a few years back...
eating MREs while watching steve, pretty enjoyable
My son and I really like watching your videos... We keep hoping you'll be comin' back at us with something new, or old. Cool. See ya.
The true test of Steve1989’s bravery. Testing 10 years from now a MRE packaged during 2020. If ever a year for potential MRE disaster......
This dude is truly and sincerely, The Legend!
Recently got one of these guys in a pack of 6 and wow. MCW rations are way different than a standard MRE. Thanks for helping me find a new hobby, Steve!
Fun fact: Natick Labs collects their mail at Steve's house.
Lol
I always like having something to eat as I watch your videos, its almost like we are on a date.
I remember I use to watch Steve all the time I just remembered and I came back ahh I will start bench watching all of these long year videos I missed :)
This rice and chicken menu looks good actually. It would most likely be one of my favorites
Eating spicy chicken and rice in the artic climates, makes sense.
Buddy took me onto base in PT magu. And huanime bay. Got me some boxes. Thanks for all the inspiration and all the information. A real life saver.
For me the menu seems a lot better than the standard MRE's
Nice MCW case! Been trying to find one but no luck. Seems like they've been getting rarer for cases, but single they're around.
Not sure why but I watch these every time I can while I eat diner
Something always amazes me with how he hold everything with one hand on a tray. Even in videos where the tray is pretty full.
