Thank you for your tip on practicing the two-handed method a little at a time. Also using your dominant hand underneath, I was doing the opposite and found it awkward. I want to stitch faster so will keep practicing as you suggest.
I didn’t have a grime guard for my q snap at that point. The magnetic guard kept my fabric from getting dirty - in case my clamp had any dust or anything under it. I prefer not to let my fabric touch the clamp.
Hi there! I just found your channel! I just got a Lowry stand and was wondering if you always loosen the stand and flip your project in order to tie off your threads, or if you have a different way where you don’t flip your project. I usually two handed stitch on my knee kinda like you showed. But just curious what other options were out there! Thank you!!
Thanks for watching! I did start using the front loop start method, and I have ended on the front a little. I dont really like to do that. I have been experimenting with lots of ways, because yes, otherwise I’m always flipping. I have to confess. I bought a Dubko floor stand recently and love it. I use it for my scroll rods and use the lowery for my q-snaps. I do loosen and flip my q-snaps every time I end!
@@gracenotesstitchers-corrin6784 thank you so much for your quick reply!!! I have tried using the front loop start. I admit I don’t love it either haha. I’ll also look into the other stand you mentioned! Super glad to know that I’m not missing something with flipping the Qsnap! Thanks again!!
@@breannafickes6742 you’re welcome. I do have an unboxing video of the Dubko from about a month ago. I don’t remember if I showed it in use, but I know I did set a project on it
Okay so I need to know what you have your tablet on? Holding your pattern.. that looks like something I could use! I got the pqttern holder for my lowery.. but my project's are to big for it qnd they cover it and.its always in the way.. looking for alternatives
Funny story, we got Colleen one (without the attachment) for her birthday. John kept asking me, didn’t I want one too. I was happy with my Daylight lamp (except the power button is broken, I have to plug/unplug it to use it). Then I saw the lamp with tablet holder being used by someone on FB. Then I was all like “I really think I need a new lamp...”. We do use my daylight lamp for flosstube for lighting!!!!

I’m so glad to hear it was helpful. It took time, but now it has become second Nature.
What is the purpose of the magnetic thing under the clamp please?

Do you have 2 lowery stand s?
I dont. If I have a second one in the video, the blue one belongs to my daughter.
