Thank you for another great video. I am a two-handed stitcher and I have seen these but not tried them before. I plan to check to see if my LNS has them so I can try them. Thanks again.
Great video. I have tried these before. I didn't like them because they are too long and when fastening off I had to rethread with my regular sized needle. Double pointed needles waste thread. I use a laying tool anyway and like you I prefer to stitch with one hand. 😀
It’s now on the most popular on 123. As well as the snag Nabit! You should get sponsored! I tend to split my thread on the needle when I stitch two handed. But I also turn my needle. Idk how I do it. I’ll need to try this out, I wonder if it will help.
Thanks for sharing! I am one of those "stitch until the last nub of thread" people, but this still looks interesting - I may try it! Do you feel like it really does save a significant amount of time?
+Carolina S I don't know of it saves a significant amount of time. It has been so long since I have stitched with those needles for any length of time.
Hmmm . . . I'm kind of tempted now. I always thought I might stab the floss and pierce it or something. (I've done that with a regular needle though lol.) I'd never seen them demonstrated, so I guess maybe it was harder to wrap my brain around it. Aside from the longer length (which I suppose you could keep a regular needle and switch out?), I'm kinda thinking maybe getting some and trying them out is a good idea.
+Pat Ryder actually I love the easy guide needles I found on etsy. I have a product review video coming up soon on them. I use size 24. If you search easy guide needle on etsy it will come up.
Thanks for the demo. I tried these things several times and always stabbed the shit out of myself! Maybe I'm not graceful enough - who knows but those needles will be a big no for me!
This is a Stitch Mate floor stand that I have owned for many years. The designer/maker of these stands passed away some years ago, so they aren't made any longer.
How interesting. I bet it takes some conditioning to get used to it. I’m a two handed stitcher but I would still have to get used to it. May try it at some point.
Thank you for the ONLY RUclips demo. I am using a hoop and have hurt my wrist so helps with this.
Thanks Danielle! I've known of these needles but have never used them. Loved your walk through on them. I'll give them a try!

Thanks for the demo. I saw these in a San Antonio LNS on a business trip recently. May have to give them a try.
OOOH I like this!! Thanks so much! Great demo.

Thanks for the tutorial. Never saw that type of needle before. I like the idea that you don't have the twisting effect !
Gosh I never knew there was such a needle I will be trying those for sure. As always, you have been a good tutor! Thank you

Oh my gosh Danielle thank you so so much for doing this. I so appreciate it. I'm one of your biggest fans.
Fascinating, I've always wondered how to use those needles. I'll give it a try now.
Thanks for the tutorial, definitely need these in my stash, seems like they would be good for perforated paper.

Danielle, what is your tried and true preferred needle these days - size and make, if you don't mind sharing. Thanks!

Do you have a link to the person’s tutorial you spoke about showing the way she does the up and down motion?

Hi what stand r u using

Never seen that needle before thanks.XOXO
interesting......never heard of this needle.
Thank you......
Thank you for sharing. I love to stitch with small needles and a thimble and stitching time is no issue. So I stay with my normal needles.
I would probably stab myself and end up with bloody nubs lol It is a great idea though. Thanks for sharing
Who would have thought!! Huh!! thank you very much!!
