Was my 1st retreat. Everything was wonderful. Been cross stitching off and on for over 50 years. I only ever had one WIP. Now I have at least four. Your retreat rekindled my love of stitching.

This was my 1st retreat. I walked in alone and left with great memories and several stitchy friends. The venue was wonderful. I can’t wait for next year 🙂

Hi Corrin! You have a great team! Loved all of the gifts in our swag bag. I had ordered needleminders for my tablemates from Mind Your Needle before the retreat. They loved them. August 7th yo 10th is on my calendar and I will let my stitchy friends know. I have 2 scissor fobs from Silver Paw. They are beautiful. Colleen, your lemon piece is beautiful! I just started the Castle Homecoming yesterday! I love seeing what it looks like so far along! It's such a fun, quick pattern to stitch up! Congrats Colleen for going full time with GNF!! How exciting for the family business!

How much silk did you get for the Eiffel Quakers? I'm thinking about starting one myself (will need to get some fabric for you once I decide), but need to know how much silk I'll need and wasn't sure how to figure that out from the pattern itself.

I love that you collect patterns like me 😂 Also, if you haven't started doing the Twilight Marketplace HAED and you want someone to do it with, I would be down to do it too 😃I even think I already have fabric I could use haha Then I have a question for Hannah (or about her projects, might ask on her channel at some point too haha) for Amazing Grace, she's using 28 ct. On something like that would you use 1/1 tent? 2/1 tent? 1/1 full? What about on some of the even higher count fabrics, like 32 I think I've seen you both using?

You mention washing the fabric to make it less stiff. I bought some random lugana on amazon that I don't love the feel of and I haven't started using it yet. Do I just throw it through a regular wash or do I soak it in warm water or...? What's the best trick?

Where did you get your Corrin's Keepers box done? Did you buy it and then have it embroidered or order it as a completed piece?

I have so many questions on this video! This is probably different 2 years later, but how do you only have 12 things on your HAED wishlist? I think I have over 500 😅 These are obviously not all getting done, but I guess mine are also a lot of minis and qs and bookmarks. Not a lot of full size ones, so that makes a difference in the amount of my life it would take. I don't see one in your videos list, but I might be missing it, but could you make a video on how you surge? I have a surger, it was inherited. I've never used it, but definitely have some projects I want to prep for to do 12 Days of Christmas starts. Lastly, where do you find all the SALs and retreats? I just got my first Frosted Pumpkin SAL because I wandered to their site because of you, and I'm joining your Main Street SAL, but I just love the idea of having other people to stitch with. I also signed up for the Black Needle Society Downton virtual retreat in the spring, and I would love to do Stitchcon next year and your retreat next year, but I would love to meet some people now. I am in dire need of a community!! 💜

I feel the pain of needing more frames! I decided that I'm only working on what I can fit on my scroll frames or in my q snaps. I feel super limited already, so chances are good I'll just end up buying more scroll frames (they're my favorite!) I love solo and together videos, so bring em on!

Is WIPGO an ongoing thing? Like is it happening this year? Will it happen next year? I like the idea of having things numbered and doing that. I guess I have a couple sets of DND dice I could use to do this on my own if it's no longer a group.

I love all the bee patterns you have! 🥰 That was my nickname in high school. I can never find good bee patterns when I'm out and about.

I know you've shown off the couch one a few more times since this and showed the flipping of the legs to make it fit a narrower space, but how do you like the floor stand? I have a more old fashioned rocker and like to sit all curled up, so my giraffe stand doesn't work super well. I'm a 2 handed stitcher, so right now I kind of balance my frame on the table/desk where I'm working and it works, but probably isn't the most efficient way to work 😅

How do you like the Annie's Keepers now that you've had them for a while? I don't love my bobbin storage because it's a lot of work to set up and then to unwind and cut when I want to use it, so I'm thinking of other ways to set things up as my collection is expanding.

Do you find you need side tension grippers?

I get the albuterol jitters too! It makes me hate using my inhaler, but after watching this, I might start using it in the mornings in the summer while my allergies are at their worst and see if that makes me feel better more generally. Glad I'm not alone!
