Do you know Chad I think everyone that cares about your program and your channel here is happier than heck to see you paint this and I don’t care if it’s got flaws. It’s awesome to see you. Take it to that level again,Thank you and Jolene for pushing this project and all the others🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆💪🏼😎
It helps to have high dollar tools but I've seen paint jobs with harbor freight spray guns and $100 a gallon industrial paint... I've got pictures from 10 feet away 😊 people buy cars just because they have all the same colored panels.
Hi Chad and Jolene. Hope you are both well. A great colour choice but have you thought about adding some gold flake to the clear coat? I think it would make the brown pop. Thanks for another great episode. Keep up the good work.
I have used tarps several times and never had it stick like that at all. I also have a large intake and exhaust system that I put in myself from stuff I bought from Menards. One of your biggest problems is you have no intake and a tiny tiny little fan that is no different than a $20 box fan from Walmart. I am not trying to be mean at all, it's just 90 percent of your troubles are the lack of fresh air intake and a much bigger exhaust fan. You have WAY WAY WAY more money than I will ever have and I just can't understand wy you don't get the things you need 💯 absolutely love your videos. As always Chad is an amazing builder and Jolene is amazing with the camera and the shots she gets are amazing.
I’ve been watching Chad for a long time. His number one goal was to show a regular guy with a garage can build a car. So buying specialized equipment goes against his number one goal🙂
Is Chad making child payments? Perhaps if he is, that explains why Chad can't just run out and spend tons of money on new equipment and new tools he would like to have. Back in the 60's after I did the body work on my 1955 chevy coupe, I took the car to Earl Shibe to be painted, it cost me 19.95 or 24.95 to get it painted, it was a terrific paint job, no runs or problems of any kind with the paint job. His painters probably painted more cars than any painters in America.

I gotta give you credit for keeping it together with that tarp. I would have had to take a deep breath when the paper on the floorboards started sticking to my shoes. But huge props on keeping your cool. It’s looking good. I’m not a fan of the color but it’s going to look nice when all done.
It works for pulling alot of paint outta the air but I'd fold the outside 3 feet in and wet the floor then it still pulls the overspray down but you can walk like normal
Goes to show ideas are only ideas until they become proven techniques.... I wish people would stick to suggesting ideas to Chad that are proven tried tested and proven...it makes it harder on Chad to trust any idea because of these mere "ideas" Truth Folks
I used a $100 party tent set up inside my shed with two $19 kmart fans some pre filter cloth stapled to a timber trellis with a tarp on floor duck taped all the seams worked fine for what was paint came off the gun and didn't have to buff it used 2k industrial paint and still looks great 8 years on I did wet the tarp though oh and set the lights up outside the tent the light was well defused
His problem is the fan isn’t taking the overspray out good enough. This isn’t a paint booth, it’s a room with an exhaust fan. It’s just not drawing enough air out.

Absolutely ridiculous. Glad you put gun holder on the wall guessing you were gonna grow a foot or so..paint suit costs 8$ save alot of dirt...joylenne must be crazy in there with you she will regret it tomorrow...and turn the psi down .

Chad, I was talking to my husband, and he painted equipment for Pendue. They used stay dry on the floor. It is powder like when it first goes down but by wetting it slightly it should raise dust. Another thing I did was use canvas on the floor when painting. That worked for me. I understand you need to keep dust down so in future whatever works best. You are doing a great job, and the color is growing on me. I think when she is all put together it will be a standout Take good care looking forward to tomorrow.
I hope Jolene is wearing a respirator while filming inside the cloudy paint booth. The paint cloud also seems to be settling on the tarp and making a big sticky mess. Keeping the floor wet with water during the painting process was a better idea than using a tarp to cover the floor.
The tarp is fine. I have one in my booth to protect the floor, but I wet it down just like you would the floor and it prevents any dust as well as any stickyness. Works great for me.
I would think a garage plastic tile would be safer. I recently put them in my garage and they are slip-resistant. With all that water I see you mopping around could become a slippin slide incident.
