    Scott and Jane used to own Vantage vans. My 13 year old vantage van has developed a slight drop on the ceiling. Chatting to Scott at a show, he offered to fix it for free.....on a 13 year old van built by a company they no longer own. Unbelievable customer service!

    About time you visited Consort Peter, been telling you long enough 🙂 We have the Reef on a Peugeot, looking at the Reef on on the new FIAT in the silver with the new graphics, it is very tempting to change 🙂 Scot and Jane are brillian, as is all of their staff, a fantastic company. We have had a few problems, not anything to do with Consort, just the Thetford fridge and water pump, both were replaced with no problem whatsoever , customer service is just brilliant. We are going down to the open week at the end of October and will be very interested in the new fixed bed idea. Thank Peter, great video as ever and well done to finally getting a video on this amazing company, cheers and take care , Trev Debz and Tyler

    How opportune, we picked up our Pace model on 12th September, and we are just back from our inaugural trip. The build quality and attention to detail is top notch . A van built by campers for campers .

    I've had an Oslo for coming up to 6 months and they are easy vans to live with.
    I'm pleased Peter picked up on the storage because the organisation of the storage is something that I noticed. Inside storage for inside stuff and the boot for the outside gear. Maybe this is one instance where Scot and Jane's own camping experience experience has helped.

    Love this van, about as good as it gets in my opinion - one nice addition would be a hatch/door connecting the boot storage to the lounge area as this would enable the transporting of longer items occasionally if needed.

    It's always great to see how the vans are converted & assembled. These Consort vans appear to be very well converted & constructed & I was impressed with the direct hotline for troubleshooting, reassurance goes along way to customer satisfaction as so often when there's an issue or a problem, ringing up the dealership only to be told we can get you in in three months just to have a look to find out whats wrong? Then the ordering of the parts as necessary & then another three month wait until the fault can be rectified all gets a bit tedious. The Oslo model shown at the end looked great but I think a brief look at all the aspects wouldve Been helpful ie kitchen, cab & washroom. Apologies for going on a bit.

    Excellent video Peter, I'll definitely be visiting the consort stand at the nec; my only niggles are the rear n/s window, this should be changed to avoid the door hitting if open and a shower curtain in the washroom.

    I’ve no experience of Consort but they seem to have a good reputation.
    Shower curtain (based on other comments) is disappointing these days. I was going to make an exasperated noise about the U shaped lounge ( much nicer than just two benches but my wife wouldn’t consider the layout for a second) so be interesting to see a fixed bed option.

    Scott makes top quality vans, as with Vantage before, but that rear lounge layout is SO old hat. Fixed bed is the future.
    Carpeting too is old hat, check out the likes of Globecar with automotive plastic where he has carpet. Raised bed with real storage underneath.
    So pleased Scott sees the future, and he knows the Fiat p***s all over Peugeot.

    • @MotorhomeCampervan
      @MotorhomeCampervan  2 месяца назад +1

      Lots of buyers still love a rear lounge but Consort are now offering fixed beds, too.
      As for Fiat v Peugeot, they are exactly the same van in the latest 2025 version.

  • @truth3358

    Peugeot boxer is is the cheapest around you pay for what you get when you buy a van there’s loads of Peugeots are they for sale with low mileage 4 years old 12,000 14,000 only on the clock no one wants Peugeot boxer van is in a commercial way
    Spending 50,000 60,000 on a van conversion I wouldn’t use a Peugeot boxer van That’s why there’s loads of them for sale

    • @MotorhomeCampervan
      @MotorhomeCampervan  14 дней назад

      There are loads of them for sale because, until recently, a lot of major converters built on Peugeot. Like the closely-related Fiat Ducato, they work well for motorhomes and especially campervans and Stellantis has worked with the motorhome industry. There are better vans but a Sprinter or Crafter costs a lot more.

Anyway didn’t have time or patience so obviously I left without a purchase, that same afternoon driving back home we purchased a £70k van from Brownhills.
