I used to be a boxer in the past and everytime I fought a strong opponent, I always have this quote in my head and music gives me more power to defeat them. I love this theme because, it gives a type of warrior feeling that I always had in my fights.

Best MGS hands down. Best game for the PS1 and one if not the first with a dense movie-like storytelling in a videogame. The whole game was so original back in the 90s. Phenomenal soundtrack, graphic, different and interesting boss-battles (even breaking the 4th wall with mantis). Great memories back than getting the big-boss-rank.

One of the big problems with Twin Snakes on Gamecube was redoing both the Dialogue and the Soundtrack. This is the best MGS soundtrack bar none, none come close. Kind of reminds me of the movie Speed. That said, I think Castlevania Symphony Of The Night and Castlevania Chronicles has so much better replay value. However I'll hook up my Sony PlayStation to my Sony Trinitron PVM-CRT TV on a day that Snows and give it a playthrough, just did it and even bought a pack of cigarettes for the occasion, I quit years ago. It felt right, the game doesn't play unless it's snowing outside. I first played it in December 1998 just before Christmas and it was mind blowing. Only in December-March when it snows does this game have that feeling. Strap on a Glock on a thigh holster and smoke a cig outside in the snowing night. Perfect. (Too bad I don't own a Hk Mk23 SOCOM .45 ACP but come on they're like $2K.)

Symphony of the Night had one of the most amazing soundtracks of any non-Final Fantasy, Zelda, or Mario game... until this game came along. But, it's definitely up there. This was a golden age for both video games and Sony's Playstation. And, I owned all three- Metal Gear: Solid, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and Final Fantasy VII. These games and the Babylon 5 TV series literally defined high school, as far as my entertainment was concerned.
