    Be sure you are up to date in 10 before you update to 11. you will have problems with it trying to update 10, so it get stuck. I had to go back to 10 do updates then installed 11 and it worked fine and updated 11. However the top setting titlebare was complete;y transparent. I think because I tried to use the same downloaded iso that was messed up. when I updated 10 then started from scratch it worked fine.

      @@ClickNextDemos Hi,
      Thank you for your fast reply.
      I don't know why, but it was a general issue on upgrading WIN 7 to Win 10 on several DELL LAPTOPS 3550 and around. I read plenty of complains on different forums and RUclips saying all the same thing: my laptop screen became black and I had to use a different computer to unblock it and then uninstall WIN 10. Most of them mentioned that their laptops bios wasn't upgraded with its ultimate update. Knowing my laptop bios was upgraded at its ultimate update, I kept asking if an update to win10 would be possible. All of them suggested not to update coz I wouldn't know the final result. None of them mentioned that option using Rufus to create all WIN 10 requirements. So I didn't try coz I have very valuable things in that laptop. And that's why I asked you this question. My laptop is an I5 processor with 8 GB DDR 3 internal memory and gets 1000 Gb storage capacity. Video card it's on the motherboard, I think, but it's a good one. Never ever experienced slow motion or anything else. I am a Translator for English and French and mostly I am using my laptop for this activity.
      Thank you for reading my message.
      Best regard
      Dan

    • @ClickNextDemos
      @ClickNextDemos  Год назад

      If you want to upgrade your existing Windows 10 to Windows 11 and keep all your applications and data, yes you could click on Setup.Exe and that will do an "in place" upgrade to Windows 11. I've tried this with an ISO created from Rufus and it worked fine.
      If you want to do a "clean install" of Windows 11, then you should boot the computer from the USB drive and follow the insall wizard. When the setup wizard asks where to install WIndows 11, you would need to format the existing hard disk to then allow for Windows 11 to install.

    • @ClickNextDemos
      @ClickNextDemos  Год назад +1

      Great question @MysticMylesZ - This feature has been added to Rufus since I made the video.
      Bitlocker is full disk encryption and normally what businesses and IT Departments set on their client PC's so the HDD or SSD is encrypted in case the device is lost or stolen. It is not enabled by default on a new clean install so I'm not sure what this option is intended for. For a home user you can just leave this setting de-selected but even if you tick the box to disable bitlocker encyption, it won't do much for a home user as your disk will not be encrypted anyway.

    • @ClickNextDemos
      @ClickNextDemos  Год назад +1

      The changelog on the Rufus site for when this option was added to Rufus says -:
      "Add an option to disable BitLocker device encryption in the Windows User Experience dialog"
      This suggests its just skipping a dialog box during the OOBE setup during first boot.
      Hope that helps.

      I haven't seen this error before but seems a common issue if you do a google search. First, ensure you have a valid ISO file. Are you able to mount it in Windows and read the contents? If you can't read the ISO file it may be corrupt so you would need to download a new ISO. If the ISO is ok, I would then try a different USB Port on your PC or even try a different USB Flash drive. If that still doesn't work, try reinstalling Rufus. If you are using the portable version of Rufus where you just click on it to run it (Without installing it), try placing it in a different folder or create a new folder like C:\Temp and run it from there. Good Luck.

    Using Rufus to get Windows 11 installed on un-supported hardware is basically no different to hacking the Operating System, or using a crack to crack software, software hacks and cracks may get the job done but they also degrade the reliability of software too, here's the best way to install Windows 11, first buy hardware that is Windows 11 certified, second go to the Microsoft website and download the Microsoft official Windows 11 release iso, don't use pirated software because you'll be asking for trouble if you do, burn the iso onto a blank multi-layer DVD, use it to install Windows 11 on your Windows 11 certified hardware, and make sure you have both UEFI Secure Boot and TPM2.0 or FTPM enabled in your new Windows 11 certified hardware's Bios, that's how I did it, and I've had zero issues so far, not enabling UEFI Secure Boot or TPM2.0/FTPM will compromise your PC's security and leave you vulnerable to ransom ware.

    • @ClickNextDemos
      @ClickNextDemos  Год назад +3

      Thanks for taking the time to comment. The method shown in the video uses a genuine ISO downloaded from Microsoft and rufus is not pirate software. Windows 11 has quite a strict CPU requirement. There are lots of people with 7th gen CPU’s and TPM enabled that wouldn’t normally be able to experience Windows 11 otherwise. I take your point and would normally agree but currently running Windows 11 on unsupported hardware is barely, if any, different to running it on a supported system. And let’s be honest, it’s only going to be tech savvy users who are going to do this. Your average person will normally get Windows 11 with a new pc. The demo was meant for enthusiasts who want to experience the latest version of Windows without having the expense of buying new hardware.
