You have done a great job with the match up. I am glade that everyone doesn't completely feed into Freddie's powers. I also see that this could have easily gone Freddie's while Torque was in the inception of his failure and seemingly disgruntled love ones. Knowing more it's Freddie's narcissism and willingness to see what is the result of his mental labor of anguish that he deals out to others. Even though the dream demon is dispelled it's open for him to try his hand another night. Once more congratulations on making a very entertaining and some what creepy hybrid of a vs match up. This is now officially my personal favorite video you have ever done! For weeks, my hype has been building up to see this epic showdown, never really knowing who would come out on top! But in the end, I was right to follow my gut and continue to hope for Torque to come out on top! I feel there are still plenty of scenarios where Freddy would be able to win, because of all of his powers, but seeing Troque get the majority victory, however slim it may be, has turned out to be the biggest Halloween treat ever! Congratulations, my good friend; you have completed my Halloween for me in the best way possible!

The Gonzo Gun would most probably harm Freddy but it won't straight up one-shot him. Freddy's can probably find a way to counter the Gonzo Gun like anything he has ever faced in the dream world. Besides Freddy would be considered either a boss or special Malefactor that needs Torque's Inner Demon to beat him much like the final battle with his other persona Blackmore. To have Freddy lose on his own home turf is extremely rare and simply amazing. Keep up the amazing job your doing with these Vs. Series videos.

I would say Freddy Krueger's own typical aproach to fights will eventually bite him in the ass . One who wants to kill person like Jason Voorhees takes it difrently than one who wants to toy with person as much as he can then kill them and Freeddy Krueger needs to be feared or his power decrases .
Not to mention that he used Jason to kill for him just so he could come back, but ended up regretting it since Jason wouldn't stop. Freddy, you're a dumbass lol
Well it's simply him being desperate so it maybe was dumb idea but worse idea was him simply atacking Jason Voorhees head on with hand to hand combat a human undead tank who has super strengh feels literally no pain who has little sense of self preservation and is out for blood .
So, I just finished reading this play called Fences, and looking back at The Suffering, I found the play's central character Troy to be kind of similar to Torque in some respects. The first thing they have in common is that they have seriously strained relationships with the people in their lives: their wives, their children, and even their friends. The title of the play is also symbolic, because two different reasons are mentioned by Troy's friend Bono for building the fence Troy is trying to make for his wife Rose. According to Bono, it can be made to keep people out, or to keep people in. I feel this same concept applies to the story in The Suffering. Torque got fenced throughout the course of his life, some of the times were because of Blackmore and others were more on him, and depending on his state of mind, the fences he had in his mind could have been an attempt to keep his family together or was an act to push them away. But the biggest connection I give to Torque and Troy is morality. In the game, Torque's morality has an impact on how the game will end, and I believe this applies to Troy to. Troy did a lot of bad stuff, like refusing to see his son Lyons perform, he refused to sign paperwork so his other son, who was incidentally named Cory like Torque's oldest boy, to get a scholarship, he sent his own brother Gabriel to a mental hospital just to get some of Gabriel's money, and to top it off, he had an affair with another woman named Alberta. However, despite all this bad stuff, the reasons why he acted like this need to be taken into account, because he was an African American man who was abused by his father and endured constant racism. All of this would contribute to why he was unable to see the gradual changes in the society he lived in and why he felt his own family was a burden on his life. It was wrong of him to cheat on his wife, but he tried to do right to her all the same, and he even reached out to her in helping him care for his newborn daughter after Alberta died. In the last scene of the play, it is implied that caring for his new daughter brought out the better side of his character. So the important thing to examine when looking at a character like Troy is to acknowledge what he's done and understand why he did it. Ultimately, how Troy is viewed is up to interpretation, same with Torque, but if Troy was in a situation like Torque's and his future depended on his morality, I would say he'd be on neutral morality. So yeah, that is kind of how I connected Fencing and The Suffering together. They are completely unrelated to each other, but reading between the lines, I felt they had plenty of similarities when it came down to the two central characters.

With Torque, it can hard to commit to doing something good because of all the torment he's been through and because of Blackmore. Normally, I don't do that, but I was going to the movies that day and I had the time to kill, so I went to local video store, which also sells books and video games. While I was there, I actually found a copy of The Suffering for the PS2.
***** Yeah, when I was looking through the PS2 section, The Suffering was the last thing I expected to find, and I agreed remastered versions of the game would be awesome. It's also a bummer that a movie had been planned years ago, only to get scrapped. :( However, I'm a reader as much as a gamer, so I also wish the games had been given a novelization too.

The thing with Torques rage is that when it runs out, it actually eats at his health and renders him completely broken if you dont get off rage mode. Though, he is technically used to seeing things that arent there (visions and ghosts) so i dont think he'll be that phased by Freddys tricks, which is why i also agree Torque wins. I'd say the "good" ending is canonical and that pretty much ends in Torque literally defeating his own Freddy, so im guessing the actual Freddy wouldn't be much different. Torques also quick on his feet and can adapt to different types of enemies. It shows in the battle with Hermes, when you have to trap him in the furnace.
Could you do Groudon vs the Shakaku sand demon(Naruto)? Or really any kind of vs video with a Pokémon. Like Deoxys vs the super skrull, or Genasect vs Triborg.

Freddy Krueger vs. Torque Location: The Dream World Time: 3:00 a.m. Year: 2008 He was burned. He was tormented. He was cleansed. He is back. Freddy was back again killing people again on Elm Street. However,the one he was hunting down wasn't the usual teen. It was the tormented survivor,Torque. He had escaped an island filled with hideous monsters. He was seeking refuge in Elm Street for the night,before he headed out in the morning. However,he was being stalked by the Springwood Slasher,Freddy. He was walking in a boiler room with an ominous red glow. He stopped when he heard a voice coming from behind him. "Now,now...don't be so startled,it's only me...Fre-" He was cut short as a shotgun blasted him against the wall of the room. However,as he was almost out,a Freddy glove exploded from the ground and it impaled Torque through the heart. Freddy came through the floor that the glove came out of. "I'm so sorry...it's only fun and games...HAHAHAHA!"laughed Freddy. "The first to leave you was your family,now it will be your life." Freddy ripped up his shirt to reveal the souls of his pass victims,and prepared to absorb Torque's soul to join them,only to cut short by yelling. Torque was transforming into a monster. "Oh,son of a-" Freddy was launched through a wall and was impaled on a steel bar. The now monstrous Torque stabbed Freddy,and threw him again,only this time it was into a vat of lava. Torque exited the dream world,gathered his things,and headed out,but he heard a song being sung. "One,two,Freddy's coming for you. Three,four,better lock your door. Five,six,grab your crucifix. Seven,eight,better stay up late. Nine,ten....never sleep again." Those last last few words sent chills down his spine,and soon he was out of town. However Freddy spectated from above and laughed almost endlessly. The Springwood Slasher had trapped the tormented survivor in a dream sequence. As Torque walked off Freddy laughed the words,"THE SPRINGWOOD SLASHER IS BACK! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Don’t see anybody really beating Kruger in the dream world when Kruger vanished in part 3 it was due to holy water by those outside the dream world if that didn’t happen I don’t believe the teens in the dream world would have survived Kruger.
