But a part of me kinda missed the super fights and hoped they would do a big one in the finale....... and OOOOOO MA GAAAAWD AM I GLAD THEY SAVED THE BUDGET FOR THIS!! Truly incredible what they pulled off💙❤️💙
After Henry Cavil, Tyler for me is the best live-action superman we've seen. This show, despite of the budget cuts, proved that it was made by comic book lovers. They didn't compromise on the VFX and man the character arcs in this... OOFF. Specially when Supe realises that he might not be able to defeat him and says, "DON'T", and then looks at Lois, had me emotional. THIS SHOW IS BETTER THAN THE CURRENT DCEU! The "FLUSH" with its huge budget, couldn't do what this TV-SHOW did!
Tyler hit the mark both as Clark and as Superman. I will give Cavill the nod on the look of Superman, but he really so far has NOT embodied the Man of Steel's heart, and sadly, he will likely NEVER get the chance to do so.
1:38 that look on his face is everything, without saying a word he is telling Lois goodbye, deep down he honestly thinks this could be it, the one he finally might not come back from.
Said it once and ill say it again. This show is superman done right!. The actually understood the assignment. The vfx is awesome. Supermans practicality of how hes using his powers to fight off doomsday show the writers are actual fans of the source material. Having ppl that know the source and are fans of it 8/10 do a better job at conveying good storytelling and at times good action set pieces like this. Cant wait to see what they cook up next season
This show has impressed me since S1 and surprisingly it just keeps getting better. This fight was...😂😂 I have to laugh at how good it is . Felt like a lil homage to the superman doomsday animation back in the day. Gripping and brutal
I can’t believe they actually brought in Doomsday finally. And ironically made from Bizarro’s body after they misled us last season with him and that containment suit.
They did it, they actually did it. I like that much like in BvS they took a kryptonian being and turned him into Doomsday similar to what was done with zod.....nice. Cant wait for season 4.
No. This thing looks ridiculous. This thing resembles goombas from 1990's Mario movie. The proportions of this are so god damn off with those massive shoulders and that little tiny weeny head. Also it looks like PS3 graphics. Come on man. Be a grown up.
All I can say about this show is...thank you, thank you, thank you! Thats how you do Doomsday right, it was perfect. From the brilliant orogin twist of his being the Superman of the inverse world, to Bizarro, to this. It really humanised him when you think we've followed his journey and his downfall from hero to villain. And it gies to show that no amount of fancy effects (looking at you Snyder) will ever beat brilliant storytelling. And such fantastic fan service, with the underground train station lair for Lex, Otis as his right hand man and the fight on the moon paying homage to the mich maligned fight with Nuclear Man. I honestly now can't wait for next season for it to be revealed that Sam's date Gretchen is actually Miss Tessmacher and we get Michael delivering the iconic "Miss Tessmacher!" line Just so happy to see such a iconic aeen finally given justice in Superman's 85 year. Thank you to the whole team at Superman and Lois. I have a little tear in my eye

The cinematography/visuals in this was great. And that standoff between superman and lex was so intense. It’s a shame that their budget was cut for next season seeing how this fight will continue.
U think if it wasn't and we were confirmed for season 4 way before now.... this fight would've been longer and bled into a next episode?
@@jhammond1978Yea they would have wanted to finish this in a next episode (which would be the season 3 finale). But now they have to somehow make this look good on a lower budget without breaking the bank for the rest of s4. Probably why they cut so many characters too.
@@isaiahg.349 yea.... they couldn't have both.... they probably had to pick and choose
@@isaiahg.349stupid cw/dc or whatever
@@isaiahg.349 wait, which characters?
The show has improved a lot from the beginning..just randomly started watching it and every character big or small ,visuals are very much entertaining..
I mean, in the beginning it was pretty great too
For network television, this is extremely impressive. Not to mention very ambitious considering how little time VFX teams have to work on these episodes compared to a movie. This crew continues to impress the hell out of me.
The camera man did a great job capturing every moment in the moon 😂😂😂
I don't see the U.S. flag where it supposed to be
Proof the cameraman never dies
@@redpanda84you really think that on the entire surface of the moon they are going to conventionally land near the lunar landing site?
@@clarkstrange2142 They simply forgot that detail but why not? Superman is like the american hero, it could be an idea to add to the next season premier
Nobody talking about how this 1:43 directly parallels when Superman first saved Lois back in season 1 episode 11 when he stood in front of the flames. Indestructible hope personified. Lois seeing that for the first time but being unimpressed. Now here, years later, Superman looks at Lois with a devastating sadness, knowing just how serious the situation is. That look of sacrifice about what he’s about to undertake. And Lois can only watch, her eyes also reflecting that same realization that the love of her life might die now. This show is perfect.
This Doomsday is more sharper with fluid motion than Batman vs. Superman.
Imagine the upgrade VFX in another 5 years.
0:38 this roar sends chills down my spine.
Absolutely man 💀
He looks like abomination on hulk
I feel like I’m being nit picky by thinking the head is kinda small, but listening to that sound a second time, I’m barely focused on it now
@@thedazedbandman glad I could take your mind off of Doomsday’s tiny head. That’s what she said.
What a fantastic design, what a fantastic fight, what a fantastic episode, what a fantastic season, what a fantastic show!!!!
Looks like shit lol
They did such a great job displaying their powers. Freeze breath etc Superman power is always going to be his compassion for humanity hence Lois and his kids. This was an all out fight scene
Man! The VFX is one of the best I’ve seen for a tv series, and some shots were way superior to some of the mega productions out there! Nice work
Season finale was so good 10/10
This is gotta the be the best cw dc show ever made no goofy cgi, no weak lightning just only an choreography and darkness.
Love the foreshadowing back in season 2 when he first showed up wearing the doomsday suit.
Hilarious that Doomsday here is significantly more menacing than the $200+ mil movie 🤣
Edit: Wow I really started a war with DC’s own fanbase in the comments 🤭
And yet there still people think that what we saw in bvs is doomsday, damn even snyder confirmed that wasnt the real doomsday, more a knock off of the real one
@@costa2794lazy writing from him😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
LMAO, best joke I've heard in a long time.
@@JonO387 you seriously find snyders doomsday menacing? Dick rider
Thats not doomsday thats hulk
Holy shit, what's the top of that building made of?
That antenna is better than Kryptonite
Superman should have split Doomsday in half instead of staring at it.
This fight was epic! I've been waiting for an accurate Doomsday and we weren't disappointed. Can't wait for Season 4 and I bet season premiere episode will be titled The Death of Superman.
Maybe they can also call it Hero?
I’m seriously hoping David Corenswet borrows some inspiration from Tyler Hoechlin. His Superman might be my favorite since the DCAU.
Its a shame this show only has 10 episodes left. Going to miss this one.
Damn, this was an awesome fight!!!!
This Doomsday is show much more dangerous then any other version, because it doesn’t just have the baseline Doomsday powers, but it has Bizarro powers too.
I love that the CG in this is somehow better than in the theatrical version of The Flash
Just not true…. Y’all are so lame. This show is absolute garbage. Just bad writing, by plots, bad cgi/vfx, the physics and body movement in every cw show is inaccurate and goofy… bad everything… the flash was dope as fuck and had way better cgi.
And they had such a small budget too, they great job. Unlike the Flash, who had a way bigger budget.
Nicolas Cage Superman haunts my dreams.
@@God-vl8qoNick Cage Supes had the best effects as well, since they actually filmed him in the suit all those years ago. He was shafted out of the one role he clamoured for.
Justice League movie Flash is trash.
I don't care what anyone says, this and Stargirl will be Arrowverse to me at heart. Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Jenna Dewan, David Ramsey, John Wesley Shipp and now Tom Cavanagh coming back are the proof, even if they aren't on Earth-Prime.
I truly miss Henry Cavill, but the more I see this guy as Superman, the more I WANT to see the series. Looks pretty well done, even more considering and comparing it to really bad ones, like Legends of Tomorrow.
He looks more like he should be playing Bizarro.
henry fits as superman more imo
@@negativeindustrialhe also plays bizzaro. And don’t crap on his looks. He’s a fine looking dude. Great Superman
i like the part that he still has the remains of the reverse emblem. this doomsday is so good compared to what we got in movies.
Design wise yes but everything else no.
@@masterodst1 well it's pretty good for the fact that it had a budget of 4.5 million to create it
Nice touch to make one arm elongated longer than the other. Really gives it that "mishappen monster" aspect.
I love the fight scene between Doomsday and Superman
Who’s excited to finally have a real powerful an actual of fight between Superman and doomsday like let’s go
I legit have no idea if the plan all along was for bizarro to be doomsday or they just kind of fell ass backwards into it, but holy what an awesome idea. Especially Lex Luthor being the one to do it. And doing the death of superman story after he has a family is also brilliant
Man I cant ever get tired of seeing a good superman vs doomsday fight. It always man of steel's most brutal battle.
Him being doomsday isn't that crazy when Clark first felt him he said "it's like doomsdays coming"
This was allways my favorite Superman fight🦸👾🤩🤩🤩
This is rather impressive for a CW show to pull off a Doomsday fight like this
Ikr. It gives me the animated Superman Doomsday movie style of fighting here😊
doomsday looks like shit cgi from 20 years ago and you're saying it's impressive? CW shows have had millions of people with absolutely hideous taste watching their shows for like 20 years now, they should have bajillions of dollars to spend on effects, and this was the best they could do for doomsday and you're saying it's impressive? like, how much worse would it have too look for you to be honest and say it doesn't look good? it looks like CG from the resident evil movie that came out over 20 yrs ago.
@@ToxicBrainSludge This is the fucking CW, not a Hollywood movie production. ANd for how long the fight went on... yes this is impressive. You must not watch much CW (which I also don't blame you for) but you would know this is not typical of CW. THis is not Disney+ or Marvel, tv CG has never been great to convey out of this world things... you at least live up to your name.
@@ToxicBrainSludge entitled
@@ToxicBrainSludgetry and tell me this doomsday doesn’t look better than BvS
Sucks looking back knowing this was the last time we saw a fully powered up Superman 😢
Ya know, I really liked the small scale, medical drama in this season. It called back to Clarks father and how there are some threats he cant defeat with his power.
This needs 100s of millions of views because my god this had me hyped
This scene needs to be shared, lots of people talk shit about this show cause its made by CW (understandable) but god damn is it great
remember this is bizarre doomsday. a legitimate comic book character.
Bizzaro becoming Doomsday is perfect
0:40 why i fell from a earrape☠️🪦
Said it once and ill say it again. This show is superman done right!. The actually understood the assignment. The vfx is awesome. Supermans practicality of how hes using his powers to fight off doomsday show the writers are actual fans of the source material. Having ppl that know the source and are fans of it 8/10 do a better job at conveying good storytelling and at times good action set pieces like this. Cant wait to see what they cook up next season
This show looks really good from the clips I’ve seen on RUclips
This version of doomsday sure is interesting. Really built of of superman's components.
The best finale ever!
Thank you, creators!
:)
This show has impressed me since S1 and surprisingly it just keeps getting better. This fight was...😂😂 I have to laugh at how good it is . Felt like a lil homage to the superman doomsday animation back in the day. Gripping and brutal
This superman looks like he has a hangover all the time
I can’t believe they actually brought in Doomsday finally. And ironically made from Bizarro’s body after they misled us last season with him and that containment suit.
🤣...in Snyderverse doomsday was created from Zod
So here is where all the budget of the sesson went... i love it
You just see the look of fear on Superman face when he first sees and fights Doomsday.
They did it, they actually did it. I like that much like in BvS they took a kryptonian being and turned him into Doomsday similar to what was done with zod.....nice. Cant wait for season 4.
This Doomsday is 100x better than what we got in the Movie 👏🏾🥳😁
No. This thing looks ridiculous. This thing resembles goombas from 1990's Mario movie. The proportions of this are so god damn off with those massive shoulders and that little tiny weeny head. Also it looks like PS3 graphics. Come on man. Be a grown up.
Thank you
Never
This Doomsday looked way better than Zack Snyder's Doomsday.
I honestly now can't wait for next season for it to be revealed that Sam's date Gretchen is actually Miss Tessmacher and we get Michael delivering the iconic "Miss Tessmacher!" line
Just so happy to see such a iconic aeen finally given justice in Superman's 85 year. Thank you to the whole team at Superman and Lois. I have a little tear in my eye
This episode was amazing!!! Luther really thought this through. Luther should have stayed in that prison!!! Ending this episode on a cliffhanger yea I defiantly did not see this coming. Great writing. I believe colonel lang is dead unfortunately. Remember what Luther said DOD and superman protecting lois.
I don't know man, I was hoping for more of a fight with this "fight"
Hell yea this was terrific I’m so grateful to see this
Season finale was epic & so good 10/10 !!!! ❤️💙❤️💙🚀🚀🚀🚀!!!!
Wow, they really out did themselves with the CGI, it's better than all of the other late-season CW shows.
Was it just me or was this show somewhat mature enough not to have them smash throughout buildings after buildings like a typically big Superman fight would?
Nah probably just didn't have the budget for it.
@@supermanalexkThey literally went to the moon after this I don't think it's a budget thing
@temahbacallero5019 your right it just showed that doomsday sight was set on killing superman and Clark did everything to keep it from harming people
If they had some that, people would have complained there was too much destruction just like how they did with MoS.
@@supermanalexkThey have the budget to do it but they didn't because they knew better, differently from snyder
1:27 anyone else thinking Man of steel
Lol this clip looks 100% than 85% of movies today , i was watching movies today from 2000s to 2009 and damn at that time some effects still pretty dope in 2023
I remember when Bizarro came from those mines and we all thought it was Doomsday, we were apparently kinda right
Bro this fight was wicked as hell.
