I think Reese was always John’s father. I’m not sure the original timeline, before the war started. The sending of Kyle Reese back to 1984, was the new father of John. If Kyle is not his father, I find it strange that he gives. A photo of his mother to him, when it was time for to send someone. Through the Time Machine, Kyle volunteered and John accept it. The send Kyle back in time to stop the terminator, save Sarah and conceive John in the process.
@@DinoTechTurboCharge this means two things. Either the original John Connor did not have a tine traveling father till Reese showing up Or Kyle Reese created a new paradox by fathering a John Connor that did not exist in the original timeline
John didn't know his dad, not because he hadn't been born yet, but because he died trying to blow up the T-800 in the factory. Although, in the future, he met his dad and sent him back in time.
@@cfG21 Reese is the one and only original dad at all time. That is what the paradox is, at lease part of it. This is the time theory idea being used in this movie. Forget any other time theory idea you think you know. Reese did not create a new time line, he was always in the past because he traveled there. Even before he went back, if he could find his death reported in the news paper in 1984, he would have been able to see that, even before going back. That is the idea being used in this movie. The same kind of idea used in Somewhere In Time.
@@JiM-SWEET-art well the only way i can see that working would be two scenarios Point A has to exist before point B So either John Connor was born without a time traveling father Or John Connor never existed before Kyle Reese traveled to create John Connor. Thus introducing the paradox
@@cfG21 Well, a paradox is kind of an impossible thing, that's what's so interesting about it. Point A and point B are on one time circle where A is before and after B and B is before and after A. If you could constantly travel on the time circle, you will see that all events all happen the same way, all the time and the past is the future and the future is the past. Everything that is done has to effect what happens because you have already done it in the circle. There is no way of that circle changing, because it already shows nothing has been changed because it's a paradox circle of time.
Whoever is the father of John Connor, I don’t think that really matter. The movies always focused on John and Skynet, The movie doesn’t evolve around Sarah or Kyle.
I think Kyle Reese was always Johns father, since John is technically a product of Skynet, since sky-net always ends up making a time machine that sends Kyle back. I also think an unaltered timeline is a no self aware skynet/future war and no John Conner/future resistance leader. No matter how much the timeline gets Altered, as long as there’s a Skynet/future war, they’ll always create the time machine that ends up creating John in the process.
@@HazesMovieRoom certainly possible before or after especially in the original timeline, maybe Stan the guy who canceled date night with Sarah via the answering machine in the 1st movie.
It's totally possible that Sarah had sex with another guy before she met Reese. In order for Sarah to get pregnant, she would have to be off the pill for at least a year.

@@Li-yt6ujin my opinion kyle reese created a time paradox because he cannot be the original father.
Sarah Connor could've lied about Kyle Reese being the father, there is the anomaly of John's date of birth.
It's possible, but that would mean she jumped on some dude pretty quick after Kyle, since she was knocked up by the end on of T1

T2 is the best of the series
T2 is excellent for sure. After that, every Terminator movie apart from Salvation just felt like cheap knock-off
