The first of, hopefully, many Broadway karaoke videos. This is "Til I Hear You Sing" from Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical "Love Never Dies" (The sequel to "The Phantom of the Opera"). In this song, the Phantom is longing to be reunited with his one true love, Christine Daae.
I will not send this song to anyone. I encourage everyone to buy this track from iTunes like I did.

It's incredible how Ramin or any phantom at that matter can sing that high in the ending, seeing as it's fit for a tenor. Beautiful stuff, probably my favourite LND song.

Yes this is so far the best instrumental version available for this song. Though I must say the show as a whole has changed a great deal since the recording, including the lyrics. Much of it has been re-written musically, lyrically and staging-wise.

That last "Once More!", I can't do it!!
I can
Try an UH (as in "cup") vowel with rounded lips and a slight cry. The OH vowel does not really exist on F4. Your choices are UH in a yell, UH or OU with a slight cry or whine while holding back your air like you're a little kid who just skinned their knee (use MMMM to activate the cry) and AA (as in "cat") with a lot of twang. Rounding your lips will darken the vowel, but those are your only options if you want to sing with a powerful, ringing tone on the high note of this song (F4). AH (as in "hot") gets too nasal and OO can be too breathy, although it is possible to manage. Other vowels like IH (as in "sit") or EH (as in "bet") are possible, but can muddy up the diction and pull you too far from the OH vowel.
I always choke at the last "Till I you sing"... That Bb4 is killer

None of us girls are hoping to get the role of the phantom, we just sing it for fun.
Fantastic, I've been asked to learn this for a concert in a few weeks and hadn't heard it before. So thank you so much, this is making the learning process so much easier.
As for the "qualified" idiot who posted earlier, get a grip. Music is for everyone, I've heard many women singing songs written for men (and vice versa) and they have been outstanding. I hope you don't plan on having a career in music, with that attitude you won't do very well.

I can sing this song and I'm a girl but i completely understand where some people are coming from. The role of Phantom will never be given to a girl because it wouldn't work! however a girl can sing this song out of context, say a musical concert??etc. just open up a little...
I actually want to try and sing this. Who knows, maybe a girl can do it to.

Just because you preface it by saying you don't want to be ignorant and rude doesn't mean you're not being ignorant and rude. If you don't want to hear a woman singing it, then I suggest you don't listen to women singing it.
