definitely sounds so much better , pretty cool scenery , lot of farm land, those roads though just like here after a hard winter they open up, ride safe out there man, spring is all most here 👍👍
4500! My tyres were shot at 3K. I changed them to Dunlop Mutants. Scary af for the first 200 miles but they are awesome now, especially in the wet. My 23 SP is going in for a tune and decat when the funds allow to marry up to my SP Engineering pipe. The noise is the only thing that annoys me at the moment.....or lack of it. Great vids fella, keep em coming 👍
Ditto. They sound absolutely amazing at full-boil, even with a stock exhaust. Needless to say they're also beyond entertaining to ride, especially as a unicycle. Minor suspension tweaks get the nose down and fully exploit the R1 DNA, and yeah pads and lines help with stopping. Can't recommend them highly enough, especially for the price of the competition. Cheers.
Sounds awesome, I ordered a full arrow system 2 weeks ago and I cannot wait for it to be delivered. Was gonna go for the pipewerx as I prefer to buy British where possible but the issues you had put me right off. On a side note you said you keep thinking to sell the bike but I'd be interested in what you would go for next? For me personally the mt10 is damn near perfect, the only other bike that has even intrigued me was the Kawasaki zh2
Ace man! Should sound great And not sure to be honest as the MT fits all the boxes I'd want in a lot of areas, and very little wrong with it... I'm waiting for the next gen of MT10 I think, with all the additions to the MT09 this year I think we can expect that sooner rather than later, but you never know with yamaha they seem to leave the MT10 alone for a few years. There's so many bikes out there I'd love, but this has kept me quiet for a while now 😁
@@rosendo3523 I was having a good look round a zh2 last week while at my local Kawasaki dealer looking for a bike for my Mrs. They certainly are a stunning bike and I'll bet that supercharged power never gets old. Though I have heard they are a bit of boat through the twisties, at least compared to a R1 based scalpel like an mt10.
@@markjackson7650 I took the ZH2 to the French Alps and the B500 last year and was thoroughly & pleasantly surprised at how good it was in the twisties. One of the boys was on an MT07 and I was a bit envious on the way down there, as I thought he was gonna have all the fun on those switchbacks. As it went, the ZH2 easily stood with the MT07, and also a sorted MT09! And it was completely stock. The ZH2 has a 'special' feel to it, which I'd only previously experienced when I first got a Superduke R. I'm a bit disappointed with the new MT10 (I also had the Gen 1 when they first came out and was better imo). They've strangled it with the Euro 5 stuff and to get the sweets out of it, I'll have to chuck quite a bit of money in (decat, pipe, re-tune etc). Maybe there's a Speed Triple 1200 somewhere in my future. Or give it a couple of years and maybe another ZH2! 🙂
Have you had any ecu work done? Changing anything on modern restricted engines can have a detrimental impact. Seriously considering the LV link pipe to liberate the glorious sound of the cp4 engine but I know the costs won't end there and I'll need to get the ecu flashed as well.
Aye, got some vids up on the channel. I've had to keep saying to people that ECU flashing on these bikes in particular is a risk, you'll need to get onto the dyno with a good tech that knows these bikes and their potential issues, as there have been quite a few ECUs bricking on a standard postal flash/map 💪✌️
Sounds great, can I ask...... Considering all 3 bikes, reliabilty, grin factor, problems, etc etc, which out of the 1290R/MT10 and RS1200 would you buy again?
Honestly, if the speed triple hadn't have conked out I would still be riding it, I'd love another one as I didn't spend anywhere enough time with it - however there's something about the MT that I love, and with the price I got it for, it's been fantastic so I would definitely get another one, maybe the next gen. Been faultless really Wouldn't touch another KTM with a barge pole...
@@sergeantsodom6969 Blimey! Assuming Triumph sorted that out? Never bought a new bike, so generally my bikes have had any issues sorted by previous owners 😉

If you were to change from the current MT and Yamaha don’t bring out a gen3 …what would you buy?
Bikes sound so sweet 👍
...hmm, if it didn't have apparently reliability issues then the Tuono V4, or back to a speed triple ✌️

I came to the '23 MT10 from a ZH2. Kind of regret it some days - the ZH2's a great bike!

Defo do a dyno if you have done a decat. Will sort out your fueling, power, snatchy throttle and all sorts.
Better than Speed 1200 RS 🙂?
That's a tough one, but for character and comfort yes
