      Thanks John, I was a little concerned about the narrowness tbh but soon as it hit the water it just felt right, paddled really well, was so easy to duck dive but ore importantly it went like a rocket and I was able to control it, only caught backhanders though so still got that to look forward too

      @@scottishsurfer9885 Glad you were able to surf it after the anxiety! what are the dimensions? I’m on a similar path myself. About to drop from quite a wide 6’2 (44L) to a more narrow 5’10 (34L) and slightly worried!

      @@johnmcconkey9414 ahh nice, a 6’2” is actually what I’ve been riding as my go to board for the past 5 years although I realise now and have done for a while it’s never been the right board for me, It only wants to go straight so hasn’t helped me progress one bit.
      Bit strange but my board has no dims on it, however it’s a 5’7”, 19.5” wide and probs around 34ltrs (I need to confirm that).
      All that said, the short short board made me learn quicker and have had more progression than ever as a result

    how do you surf
