Hey 👋 Such a nice comment and thanks for the kind words too, it’s actually my family tartan too so super personal,y board match also haha I’ve been using this cam for a while now and gotta say really loving it, if I’d change anything if have bought the upgraded 4k rear camera, not because the standard one is rubbish as it’s really good, it’s just more for low light etc. But that aside it’s great, and great to be able to take the footage and use it in my content. Ahh, GPS…… didn’t notice but it works fine and shows the correct direction it’s on the digital compass

It actually gives you multiple options, you can either have front or rear as the full display or you can split screen both. The images can be reversed so it replicates looking in a mirror too which I found pretty helpful, or you can turn the display off entirely and it just looks like a regular mirror

Nice one dude, am curious about your delta 2, because what I’ve been experiencing is that if left in standby mode overnight, even with nothing plugged into it, it’s dropping around 30% of its charge which is just rediculous

@@scottishsurfer9885I need to do testing about that as well, as I'm thinking if it would be a good remote-control for appliances in the car, so that could just turn plugged-in things on remotely within the Bluetooth range. But if it draws 30% overnight, that's way too much. During my initial tests, I noticed that it sometimes drew some 20W with no load. But it doesn't seem to report any output when the fan is sometimes running, so there's maybe some hidden consumption.

@@magi1969 Yeah I had the original Delta and if on standby in the same circumstance it may have drawn 2-3%, more likely due to the cold but 30% is extreme, and for me I need it to be on standby due to where I have installed it in my van. The other thing that concerns me is that if its drawing that much in stands then presumably its also drawing that same current for whatever reason when im using it and therefore discharging way quicker than it should.

@@MannyMansell thanks Manny, I need to out that vid together, good reminder…. I’m answer to the question, the permanent live is to allow it to be able to draw enough power to start recording if any motion is detected for the pre-set duration, but will not drain the battery. The switched live is of course then for normal 12v power once the ignition is turned on

Have you been on the website to update the firmware, if you’ve been able to downgrade it you should be able to update it, the latest firmware is G900(HI3559)_WOLFBOX_6900_20230625.0.4.6-V03

@@scottishsurfer9885 Can you give me the link please? because on wolfbox site for G900 latest firmware is the oild one i got and instal;led by mistake over mine wich was more recent than their update. Their update is 19.05.2023....mine was 25.06.2023

@@waynewilliams6050 yeah I assumed it would have some app connectivity also but like you say, no great shakes…. I’m loving it tbh, it’s got me wondering why I didn’t get one sooner, plus for me I get the added benefit of getting all the driving footage from my surf trip when I make edits

The 3 clips at the end of the edit are straight from the dash cam, I was blown away with them TBH, I know it looked crystal clear on the dash cam itself but sometimes clarity can be lost when you seen it on a screen, hasn't been the case

I've had it fitted for a couple weeks now, the van sat for the first 5 days which is pretty common for me, had no issues at that point, its also been waaaaayyy below freezing the past 2 weeks so if any additional drinks was going to take effect I guess it would have been then.
