    Hey Mike, we are picking up our new coach this week. I had watched your video on the Clear2o. We purchased both of them. I want to thank you for the instructions. I just watched it one more time before we leave town for the pick up. Great video and very well explained. Appreciate you taking the time. Off we go! Thanks again!

    Great video that helped me understand how to hook up this clear2o stuff. I didn't know what a pressure regulator was and seeing your hose with the 90 degree angle thing on the opposite end helped me figure out what I needed. Great job!!

    I have been using the Clear2O RV Inline water filter for over a year. Love it! My water has never tasted so good. I sign up for pre order to get my Dirtguard and have been using it for over a month at three different parks. Good quality product, easy to install and happy that I now have a two stage filter with my inline water filter. I have forwarded your link to several of my RV friends. Great product. Keep up the good work.

      When used with the 1 micron filter what is the flow rate and what psi was that flow rate at?

    And at the 10:30 point when you turn on the faucet the DirtGuard filter canister is leaking like a sieve. Uh, not the best statement to make when trying to sell this.

    Great Video Mike and Susan. No Camco filters for us!

    Thanks for the info. I had no idea the blue RV filters were so crappy, I was just going to buy one as that's all I see in the campground. I've been running crappy campground water into our RV for four years now and suppose I will need to sterilize my water lines so I can begin with a fresh start with this system.

    Perhaps it would have been illustrative to have run the camco blue filter on the part water to demonstrate its effectiveness against the Clear2o system. However, you made a great point and I will use the Clear2o system from this point on. Thanks.

    If i were to drink it (same as water from my house) I would put the filter on the hose before it came in and use a water filtration pitcher so it would be double filtered. I drink bottled water at home and use the pitcher for coffee…

    A portable water softener would be a better pre-filter. Those plastic in line filters crack open if the pressure goes over 90 psi, or if it freezes. All my filter housings are now made from stainless. Came home to a flooded campsite once. 1 micron is a lot of filtering just to take a shower. As the filter clogs does your water flow decrease to a dribble?

      I have this system. When the filter gets full it ends up restricting the water quite a bit, so much that I had to remove it

    Mike, I use a dedicated freshwater hose but like to put my filter between the hose and the rig so that if there were any contaminants in the hose that the water filter can catch it. Can I hook up a hose directly to the Dirt guard and then hook up the 1-micron filter after the hose at the rig?

    Hi I have a question, I noticed that there is no kdf on this clear20 filter. I was thinking, wouldnt a filter that contains KDF + carbon remove more contaminants than a filter that has carbon only? I understand that the microns are smaller on that carbon block but I'm wondering if KDF removes some things that carbon doesn't remove. If I remember right I think KDF media removes a lot of heavy metals..., I'm not sure if charcoal removes heavy metals too... What do you think or know about my thought?

    I still have a new 2 pack of the Camco inline filters that I'd hate to just throw away. Can I use the Camco ones as a pre-filter at the spigot end (since it basically does the same as the DirtGuard at 20 microns) and then use the Clear2O inline filter at the RV end?

  • @BobBerardjr772
    @BobBerardjr772 2 года назад

    Why wouldn’t you put the filter at the other end of the hose where after the water is filtered. It’s the standing in a potentially hot hose sitting in the sun?

    What is the water pressure coming out of the filters?

      I used to use the "blue filter" and would see like a slightly foamy sediment in the water. I really don't have rust or dirt in my water at the campsite I am an annual at so I just went clearO2 filter a week ago. There is a huge difference, and now I am drinking it now instead of buying bottled water.
