Shayne's bit honestly showed the three reactions that ghosting would bring out. Denial and hoping they are ok (Noah). Calling it and being pissed (Amanda). And being whatever Ian is.

Arasha’s lie and gaslight left a scar so big that Shayne decided to recreate that but for a significantly shorter time.
Amanda endured so much suffering in this episode, holy crap.
We witnessed her endure a break-up, deez nuts jokes, and ego death all in one episode.
The best part of shayne's is seeing everyone's genuine concern for him. Also now imagine your ex going through the same thing and feel bad
