Thank you @SpaceyBlurr Just to let you know, in version 18.5 public beta, you can export image sequences as PNGs and animated GIFs in the deliver page without any workarounds.
Hi @alkaponas if you want to export custom amount of frames from video you'll have to go to the deliver page, set IN and OUT points on the video by using i & o keys on your keyboard. Then for the format select PNG and export. With DaVinci Resolve 18.5 we also got the ability to export video/images on the timeline as GIFs, if that is what you need.
@alkaponas It is possible to export every Nth frame, but there is no built in functionality as far as I know. One way is to write scripts, which I don't do, and the other is in the fusion page using a saver node and an expression at least that is what TheBloke posted on the forum here forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=119958
