Just goes to show that I don't use Fairlight page much so thank you for the reply and the instructions. I followed your instructions and it works as you have stated. However, I also found out that this makes 2 audio files one has L and the other R in the name. I thought that was for the L/R channels - and maybe it is - but when I placed the files back into DR both audio files had both the L and R channel.

@@JackallDigital it is the left and the right. I don’t know if there’s a way to bounce on mono, because I’ve never did it. But you can cancel one if you bounce from mono because in that case they would be the same file, and once you use the new track as mono, you wouldn’t have problems of one mute channel. That is quite interesting and unfortunate issue. And I did not know it's something that can even happen. But it seems like you are not the only one. A quick search gave me the following results: - TV has a higher HDMI version than the GPU, but this is probably not true in your case. - lower resolution and refresh rate on the TV could be the cause, but I doubt that - TV has built in processing and scaling, this is a plausible reason You can try changing settings on the TV and on the PC using the Nvidia drivers, maybe also update the drivers. You can then use different port combination on the GPU and TV. Lastly, try a different cable - actually do this first. Apart from that, if you bought the GPU to use with your TV and it still doesn't work then start an RMA or try connecting your TV with a different GPU, if you have that option.

Do you mean that it is artifacting when using anything above 60Hz or only at 60Hz? If it's the latter, I would like to know why you use the monitor at 60Hz? In any case you should be able to get it replaced if it's not older than 1 year, if not by the store that you bought it from then at the very least by viewsonic themselves.

Thank you for the feedback and the question. I do see the battery is different than the usual suspects. I can't say for sure how the connectors are wired since the total voltage is listed as 14.4v. if you have a multimeter you could check if the output between the different +/- pins is 7.2v or 14.4. if output is 14.4 then it doesn't matter which pins you use to charge it, if the outputs are 7.2v, then it means you'd have to charge the 2 packs that are inside the battery individually.

You can definitely use 2 and 2 cables, I just don't know how finicky it will be to hold in place, but there's only one way to find out so let us know how it goes.

Great question! As for how it's done, right click on one of the icons and select "add divider" from the menu. You can then move the icons left/right of the divider and add as many dividers as you need.

Thank you. As for your question, from my understanding this is a limitation. There is a whole math science behind this, which I don't understand myself, but you're still left with some minimum duration that you can't go below. Also, what this flickering could be connected to, which I might be wrong, is that it not only has to do with the displays we use (namely how fast the refresh rate is) but more importantly, our eyes. My understanding is that, if we moved(scrolled) a text very fast on say a 1000 Hz monitor, the text would scroll smoothly, but our eyes probably can't register such fast movement - well maybe they do register but we can't process all the information that the eyes see. On a side note, if you have seen any TV shows you may have noticed that the scrolling credits are going really fast. So I would say it depends on what you want and if someone (like a TV company) has to pay for every minute of a video.

That is good to hear that it still somehow works. When it comes to the black background, just go to the background node(s), leave the color to black, but set the Alpha to 0. That should give you a transparent background.

I took a quick look at the battery and it looks like a beast. I'm guessing the battery itself might have some kind of its own charge protection. The only thing that comes to mind is to try and charge it with another source. A 9V battery should suffice, though of course you would ideally have a power source that is 10% higher than the battery rated output, so for a 7.2V battery you'd want an 8V power source, but there are no readily available 8V DC power sources. I hope you get it working because I see they're quite expensive.

Ooof, then I guess I should consider myself lucky that it worked for as long as it did. I just have to ask though, did you try the different ports? As I remember not all of them support 144hz.

@@JackallDigital Yeah I did. From their manual HDMI port 1 only goes up to 75hz. Hdmi port 2 goes up to 144 as well as display port. Tried two different hdmi and two different display ports. I suspect my HDMI port 2 & Display Port arrived dead for me.

Just one more thing that came to mind, did you also set the monitor resolution and frequency either in your operating system or the graphic driver settings?

Just an FYI, Resolve 19 is not in beta any more. But when it comes to the fusion page, a lot of things don't work as one would expect.

That is strange and I don't know what the reason for that would be. I'm just guessing that it requires some kind of dependencies that you do not have installed (like .net, java, or something similar), but in that case I would imagine for that to be mentioned in the message. What happens if you search for the same file when using the pop-op window you get?

I see that the terminals for this battery don't have easy access. If you have some wire that you could put in that would be the best. The second option would be to use some metal strips - you could use aluminium foil. Third option would be to take a thicker copper wire and hammer the end of it down to get a "plate".

As far as I know there is no fusion like hack for audio, so you will have to use the first method of copy and paste.

Hi @Trigorastronomology , the first thing that comes to mind is the WAV file that you are using. Say you load the file and want to display only the audio waveform node, is its name red? That would indicate something is wrong with the file. The second thing that comes to mind is the version of DR you are using. The plugin might not be compatible with the latest beta versions, it's unlikely but possible. You could use another wave file to see if that one works, also maje sure the file size is less than 50MB, or is it 100MB now. Let me know how it goes.

@@JackallDigital my case was pretty much the same, I thought that was the version but it was me just scrolling before 0:00, random - times instead of of the current after 0:00 ones.

Good question, as far as I know this has still not been implemented. I can't check at the moment, but you can go to top left, click DaVinci Resolve menu tab, select keyboard customization, and in the search field(right side) type in transition. With some luck there will be "select all transitions" or something like it option and you can then assign a shortcut to it.

@@JackallDigital I checked and as you said, there is none. I'm using 14. However I discovered plenty other shortcuts. Also, you can search by shortcut, that is press any key and it will list all the functions it has. Thanks for the advice.
