    If I had the money, I would fly from the coast of NC to your salon in Utah just to get my hair done blonde by you. I’ve been growing my natural color out for over a year now and I want the already processed part to be a nice pale blonde like this woman’s. It looks so good

    Do you always tone the lowlights when turning a blonde into a dimensional balayage? If so, hownso you know how many of them to tone?

    Need help my stylist is not great with color. I want a true dark ash blonde. Everytime she does my hair it pulls warm. Frustrated. What is a good formula for base color? I have highlights also and they are warm to it's like she doesn't let it sit long enough. Wish I could add pics of what I want and show you what I ended up with.. Thanks

    Can I ask why you're overlapping lightener on to hair that's already a level 9 or above?

    • @justjessiiii
      @justjessiiii  5 лет назад +1

      Michael Reid i know it can be scary! But i have olaplex in there to protect the hair. She had gold through out that we wanted to kick out and make lighter so i feathered down wherever she had that:)

    • @michaelreid5817
      @michaelreid5817 5 лет назад +7

      I could totally see where your logic is in feathering down your lightener, but in my experience I've never had good luck with overlapping. Even with olaplex. I make it a point in these cases to mix a lower developer lightener to further protect the integrity of the hair. I just personally feel that if you're charging for it, they deserve the extra step. I would have mixed a 20 and 10 vol. One for the new growth and one for the gold still existing in the hair. Considering it takes a lot longer for a level 5 or 6 to hit a level 10 than a level 8 or 9. Everyone has their own way of doing things, but if my clients are being charged an upwards of 200 for their hair, I'm putting in the effort for a second formula. No shade I just figure I'd offer some constructive criticism.

    • @analiciarios2394
      @analiciarios2394 5 лет назад +4

      Michael Reid I’ve had no breakage or issues with my clients from just dragging down the lightener on the previous blonde and I care just as much as you do with the money my clients are paying! Everyone’s different but I’ve been watching Jessi for awhile and she foils a full head quick so that may also be her reasoning for sticking with the same formula all around. 😊

    • @michaelreid5817
      @michaelreid5817 5 лет назад +4

      Yeah, I definitely take more time doing my foils personally. I only see my clients once every 6 months on average. I just don't know for myself how realistic this color application is. It's a great technique for fast moving stylists, but I just dont do it the same I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️ different clientele different needs.
