I just had my first mess up doing this near exact color.
She came in with fresh highlights and wanted darker for her base and throughout. I used a simple 6n and weaved her fresh highlights out and it came up spotchy. I’m assuming from bleeding but super disheartened but the results. This look is perfect and looks so healthy. Great job.

I'm thinking of doing lowlights. I love the Platinum but I miss the dimension... And having so many kids I can do their hair a lot but don't really have time to do mine
I know the feeling. I’ve been needing to touch my roots up for 2 weeks now but since I’m always doing everyone else’s mine comes last. That’s the only down fall about being dark is I have to do my roots constantly every few weeks! Send me a picture after you do it! 🤎🤎🥰

Can I mix EQ with conditioner for babylights?
I’m confused on what you mean love. Like can you mix shades eq with conditioner for babylights?

What is the ratio of N : G?
I always mix 1/4 the filler when doing my lowlights unless the client wants a more warmer result. Then I might do half or even all. This was a 3/4 Nuetral 1/4 gold
I didn’t know GQ can mix with regular volume.
I am assuming you mean shades eq ? I always mix it with 10 volume. It helps it stick a little better. There’s no difference really between the shades eq cremes being mixed with 10 vol and the gloss.

Yes I always use shades eq with 10 volume when I am doing a low light or all over color. Shades eq is still going to remain Demi permanent with then 10. Think of it as when you use the shades eq cream they tell you to mix with 10 volume same thing. It’s just going to help it stick in there a little better and last longer. Hope this answers your question.

Wat does clear do hun
Clear dilutes toner so it appears lighter or just if used by itself lowers the ph in the hair which makes it smoother and way shinier. So sometimes if someone doesn't need a toner or want one I will do a clear gloss just for shine and glossiness! Hopes this answers your question!

@@deborahwallace1847 That's a great question it really depends on your area and level of pricing love. for me if I am doing a global toner refresh only I charge $75 if I do a root shadow retouch and global toner I call it a double toner special and I do a deal for $110. So to be safe I would do betweeen $40 + $60. Hope this helps love.

-Did you put the clear gloss on at the same time as the root tap?
-If you were doing HL/LL at the same time, would you go back to back and not leave out any hair except for weave?

In this case I wouldn’t leave any subsections but the weave drop out. It all depends on what exactly the look is the client is going for. I have a video coming soon going over when I do bigger subsections and when I don’t. Stay tuned! ❤️
What I think? Great work. I hope she realizes how much effort and work you had to put into that for her! Low lights just don’t last on blondes and can muddy up that porous white blonde in a few weeks, but people switch lanes after seeing a new flash on insta-wham and want 5 hrs of work for $150. So you want 2 days of work and 8 formulas in nine hours, because you saw it at 2AM? Mmm..No.
