Hey Robert, thanks man. Yeah the m-lite is definitely a thing you have to see in person to really appreciate it. I'm so proud of it because it started this whole new way of thinking about products.
Thanks man and yes, they do need to listen to what people want. The crazy thing is that when you look at their previous designs and newer ones like the studio cams they're almost there. It's also become a bit of a joke if you ask for box cams these days but box's are just easier to work with and I'm not sure why the BM community on Facebook don't recognise this.
You know, I will always miss the M-Lite, which I think is still your masterpiece, but I love how simple this setup is and how it doesn’t require taking the camera apart. Great job.
Wow just wow, was talking at an Oscar wining DoP!! on a film set in Jan this year and your kit came up in talking small cams. So your known man, your known
Thank you. Tbh were having trouble with the screen and Blackmagic camera's. The screen is amazing on all other brands but on Blackmagic, it won't accept anything below 50fps. I think Blackmagic have done some weird refresh rate on all their cams because it doesn't matter what FPS you choose on other brands. We're still going to release it but BM users will have to think twice if they want to build one.
@@LWJCarroll I don't think it's proprietary because they work with other monitors fine, it's just weird that that the hz or whatever it is changes with fps. It's a shame because this small monitor is a great solution for BM's and it's so cheap to make.
Wooo!! It's finally here! I've been so pumped for this, definitely going to get one for my BMMCC and show it off to the world. Seriously amazing, game-changing work you guys are doing! Cannot wait for that OLPF filter 🤤
Hey Alex, thanks for supporting us bro, you're one of the kindest guys I've met on the internet and I hope we can shoot together one day. Yeah this filter is definitely the one 👌🏾
I purchased this Expansion pack for my G2, after watching this vid. I even paid for it to be expedited. Im excited to get it in my hands. I Love the simplistic setup. I have the XLCS cage currently with it all rigged up but love to be able to interchange the setup. Gearing up to do a vid on the G2 and the image Im able to capture with it and will be able to show both setups as well. Congrats on your launch and business flow. It is greatly appreciated and needed in this space. Keep reaching for more my brother, the opportunities are endless to an open mind. In
This is pretty great man, had not seen the final version of it. Looks legit, and very practical too. The little plates are the icing on the cake tbh. Very cool.
You guys have done a really really great job on this! great work, I know how hard it is to design and produce camera gear. 10/10 thoughtfulness, structure and creativity in the design 👌
This looks slick, when you started talking about looks of the camera being important I was almost going to disagree with you…but when I remember my BMMCC rig it was properly ghetto! Yours look ace and a really fair price for all the work you’ve put in. Almost wish I still had my micro…😢
I am speechless, not an easy task to achieve. You've got me there! A dream you're working on. Keep up THAT spirit together with your independence. That way, your creativity will stay and grow with you. Thank you very much, expanding the boundaries of product strategies that are burning wholes in our pockets. That way we'll be able to keep up with customer requests can adept to a variety of situations due to the modular design you are creating. On top of it, the gear fits in a tiny space, and we all can stay on a family friendly budget. Chapeau Sir!
Thank you J G, this is exactly what we're going for with this unit! It's tough times out there but that's no reason we can't have a little bit of joy without feeling guilty about it. Thank you for understanding this mission 🙏🏾
I have said it befroe and I will sy it again. I love your skills, mindset, and your ideas coming to life. Helping us all have more ways to create is one thing, and making it affordable and stylish af is so awesome. Keep it going my friend!!
I’ve been looking at the studio and wanting to see if you can make it into a compact cinema camera. I’m so glad to see it’s possible and thank you for making these parts! Looks like it is back on my radar.
You and me both bro. There's something about a good looking rig that just makes you want to pick it up and shoot. I kinda think it's like anything you have a fondness for...cars, motorbikes even a kitchen. Whatever your area, you want it to look and feel good. Thanks man
I'm Honestly very impressed and want this mod so bad, I have different ideas on how to have it more secure and everything, in a rig, but I'm excited too for the next phase, the Neo... I know it's alot of work but please keep us posted ASAP ! you're changing the industry IMO, hats of to the team, really fantastic work, I would dare to say that if you make this back in aluminum, it'll sell to !
Hi Andy, would love to hear the ideas man. There's always room for improvement. Aluminium 🤔 not a bad idea at all! Yeah not long for NEO, definitely coming in April.
This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! I wish i had a Blackmagic just so i had a reason to get this. Honestly its extremely tempting to find a reason to get one now
Thank you so much. Yeah the filter is really good. At the moment we can only do about 20 a month so hopefully that will suffice until the need for them dies down.
@@Altcine Perfect! I want to buy the micro studio camera 4k G2 but I want to see what all the options are before I do. Will those filters be easy to install at home? By the way, you guys should think about making a VND solution too 😃👍👌 keep up the good work 👌
Ive got 3 built out for my mobile podcast studio already, but honestly I am gonna get this expansion pack for the buttons mod alone 😂 the flat buttons drive me crazy.
Aside the hassle setting the cam up if not using studio environment this is a much underrated camera. Don't know if I have use for the backend but the button is worth getting for sure. I do a lot of concert shots and good luck looking at the buttons while the stage is dimly lit. Quote: "Where is that cheap piece of rubbish?" What a beautiful day. :D
Thank you so much. Yeah it's low but I seriously think about how much I would love to see a mod for a decent price that's actually useable. I think if it makes me excited then I'm sure it's the same for others. As long as we can cover production costs with a few bucks spare for more projects then it's all good.
I love it bro!!! It’s so refreshing seeing this amount of enthusiasm in this field and the ingenuity. I want to buy this but I can’t see myself buying the micro anytime soon, but I will send this video to friends who do have a micro 👌🏽 again, brilliant work. All the best to your future endeavours
Thank you bro, we're really proud of it. It's our simplest build but still one of our faves because it's very little fuss Appreciate your kind words and thanks for sharing too 🙌🏾
Congratulations. It's a worthy contendor to the Komodo (box form factor & handles). Be mindful if you're registering the Phase ONE name to avoid troubles with the Phase One camera brand!

Exactly. I fell in love with rigging when I got my mk1 BMPCC (I love the image out of that), I’m not so much in the camera world at present but occasionally dip my toe in to see what’s happening. All the best with the products. Looking real good! 🤌🏾
Thank you man. This is it...just because we take time out, it doesn't mean we shouldn't indulge every now and again. It can be done on a limited budget.
Please please please. I hope that you have patented/copyrighted your designs. If these big companies copyright your designs before you do they can stop you from making them.
Thank you and yes you're right...some very shady people out there. Yes we have some protection on our most important parts and lots of documentation that proves these are our creations.
Thank you. Yeah we thought about the slot hard and we actually have an M2 enclosure that would work with it but then it limits people to what drive they can use.
@@Altcine Yeah I see, people use Samsungs anyways. Or if you'd fit a custom M2 enclosure would be nice, but with SSDs overheating can be problematic. A USB port protection of some sort would be also fine maybe for starters :)
@@TheReelport ok gotcha. There's some people with a G2 who bought this kit and are going to share some images with me of their setups. Let me see what comes back and what can be done 👍🏾
@@Altcine yes they are. I'm totally agree with you about the Blackmagic camera design, they have the worst design ever but at the same time they have the best user interface and great image quality and B RAW is just great codec . That is the sole reason I swapped my BMPCC 4K with the Micro camera g2, do you think Blackmagic ever going to make a box style camera?
@@Altcine im mainly getting one to try binding a cool rig with one lol. also, id say bump up the price! that's a lot of work, and id imagine there will be plenty of interest!
@@thomasjmcclure awesome. Whatever rig you build, please try the buttons... they're a game changer. We can't raise the price 😁 we set out with one specific goal and that was to make cool rigs that you don't have to feel guilty about. Honestly we have tons of ideas for projects and each one will bring in a little funds. I know it sounds corny but we aren't really interested in money per say, it's all about doing what we love.
This is really awesome! I also wonder if there's any chance you guys can do a waist level or a small monitor like every mirrorless camera has? I believe there are a ton of people would love the small profile rig that can be carried around everyday, thanks!
Hi, thank you so much. Yeah I agree with you about the monitor, that's why we started making them. They aren't fancy but have very high nit screens and can be assembled at home with no soldering etc. We're also doing an evf too for the very reasons you stated. I'm doing a video on the monitors early April.
This is really cool. If you and your team were to ever make a cine box for the new Blackmagic Camera Full Frame, I would pay for it. Love the camera but hate the design (but not for the reason that everyone thinks lol)
I have the original BMD Micro 4k, and paired it with a Focus Assist 4K, and took it on the road. It was clunky and appalling in low light, but it worked. That was 6 years ago, when no 4K cameras were cheap and available. I still have them, and they still work flawlessly. Now they are blog cam and monitor, attached to a BMD 4K capture card in my PC, with 1080p backup on the FA, and 2 channels of flawless audio. Do you have 6 year old tech that does that? From 2 things that old? Since then I have the Pocket 4K and no complaints there. BMD make good gear.
Brother you are a literal genius!!! You are a welcome ray of sunshine in this overpriced, tech-laden industry. Thanks a million brother. This design is straight 🔥!!!!!
Thank you my brother, I really appreciate that. Yeah man, I'm tired of spending all my money on stuff that's never quite complete. We can change it easily without cutting corners and just make things look good and original 🙌🏾
@@Altcineoh yes I also wanted to let you know if you ever need music for anything I make my own and It would be a pleasure to make you any genre. I do it pro bono because that’s my way of currency. We share and build in the invisible worlds.
The original micro cinema camera records to an SD Card, the G2 record to external SSD’s like like T5 Samsung ones that you can mount to the back or to the side with the adapters that you can get for them.
Thank you. I did have some mock ups for an fx6 style cam but Caleb bought out that cineback thing so I didn't bother. Although mine was a quick release system I decided to move on.
Thank you. Yes definitely something different and I really like that. We had to have the custom panels just so people can go a little further in personalising it for themselves.

I love what you guys are doing! I don’t even own a Micro but I love your passion and I feel very inspired by what you guys are developing. Very exciting stuff. Are you guys thinking about selling merch as well? I really like your sweater with the Alt Cine Cam Logo
Really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment and such a good one. Glad you like the jumper too but this one is a bit basic. I've got a new one in the works which I'd like to be made available soon. I'll be wearing it in April on the Blackmagic Neo video 😁
I am following this project very closely but I was wondering if you had considered adding camera controls/ buttons to your expansion? When the Micro Cinema Camera came out people were making their own rudimentary control boxes. One of them I saw was really tiny and looked really neat. Seems like your expansion could fit the wiring, and go in place of one of those side panels. I'd be all over it if you did that.
A best VIDEO camera format is a camcorder, not a SLR shape. Camcorder has long tube (lens) with controls around it, a side swiveling screen coming out from the flush body a side and revealing extra controls under it. Best handholding, best filming and easiest way to transport. But the best VIDEO camera body, is a box. Just like a Olympus Air A01, LUMIX BGH1, Yongnuo YN433, BlackMagick Micro Studio camera etc. Just the minimal sensor box, battery, no viewfinder, lot of inputs and wireless options and easy to mount it on anything. Those are not meant to be hold in hand like a camcorder, they are mean to be rigged and mounted on anything else. Add the screens, add the handles, add the battery and lighting sets, microphones etc. It is the best possible body for a professional work for production. To go small, or to go large, excellent sensor and rest is up to the operator to expand. The SLR shape body is the worst possible camera body for video. And the video influencers has ruined the photography by demanding a unsuitable body to have only their wanted features, like side swiveling screen that is not good for photography at all. That belongs to camcorder body, not to SLR. The basic tilt up 80 degree / down 45 degree is excellent for photography. And what is the best possible screen hinge for photography? It is what Fuji did with X-T2, you get quick up/down and then 45 degree to right, so you get 45 degree when shooting vertically up or down. Nothing else comes close to that design.
So basically, the hybrid destroyed camera's? I won't disagree tbh. It's like when I see people trying to turn hybrids into a box. With the lens mount being off centre it looks silly imo, just a big chunk sticking out the side because you're trying to build a riggable box around the mount. I do understand why hybrids exist but I don't think it's a good choice for Blackmagic anymore. Thanks for your detailed comment.
I love this! I have been wanting to get back to using Blackmagic but the size has been putting me off as I am now using Canon (Insurance payout didn't cover my stolen 6K to get another one) Been considering the Micro but the issue was how can I rig it and boom! I find this video the price also is great, now to purchase a Micro G2 haha
Awesome man. The handles are made by Nitze for monitors & smartphone rigs but are perfect for small cams like the micro. They're available on Amazon & AliExpress
That's the kind of rig size/compact camera I'm looking for a run and gun shooting and documentaries projects. As a user of BMD since the first camera, this setup makes me want to sell my BMPCC 6K Pro for this.
Youssef, I totally hear you man. It's what a lot of us have been after for quite some time so you're not alone. Now if Blackmagic could just do something with the 4k & 6k then I would happily put this down and buy one.
@@YoussefBerrouard that's a very good question. With this particular setup it's the lens that's adding the weight but I'll need to weigh them. Once the wing grip and roll cage are here (end of march) I'll weigh a few different configs and let you know in the video.
Would be MOST amazing if you built a dummy battery into the unit so it wouldn't have any dangling wires between LP-E6 and your Sony NP adapter. Example at 17:47, if you turn on the power then it would power the LP-e6 camera dummy (built into your unit) for a cable free system
That would be great....not gonna lie. The thing is selling electronics is a bit tricky so the only way to do it would be to have them made custom, certified and in bulk. Can't really do that until you know what the demand is.
I'm really interested in the roll cage/wing grip! One of the worst problems about the Micro G2 is that the SDI ports and even the bottom 1/4 20 plate get scorching hot when recording! I've had some painful moments while hand holding the camera! I've definitely been looking for a lightweight way to cover them up without buying a full cage. I hope your solution does that!
I didn't know this as I haven't had much time with G2 so thanks for pointing this out. The metal will definitely dissipate the heat but I don't know how much. That's a really interesting issue but I can see why it happens.
Sure, it's this one here www.ebay.co.uk/itm/395087593159?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=17rgdoiorzi&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=6dpr8FPCQRi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Great work. Wonder if would be possible to mod it to integrate connections and controls from the expansion port.... Been wanting to build something like that on mine, I know the electronics, build a couple of controllers but new learned the 3D printing to create that back.
Thank you, we had this exact idea recently. We think the best way is to build a custom attachment that screws on the top. The question is...do we make it a new housing for the existing CGpro controller or do something fresh?
4 месяца назад+1
@@Altcine In my original ideia, wanted to build a Back like yours, but with all the possible electronics from the expansion port and even with audio controls on the left side, breaking the stereo audio-in in two mono channels. The last controller I built, i've put 4 buttons for faster adjustment of the WB, Shutter, ISO or any other setting I need to use, have a power in to use bigger batteries and a Lanc Connector so I'm able to use a URSA side handle for REC and Focus.

@@Altcine I Like the CGpro controller, but never bought it because of the ergonomics. I could build something like that. Would prefer something like yours but with electronics.
Yeah, it was actually designed for the old one as that's my favourite....the image is wonderful. It just so happens that the G2 is pretty much the same so it will fit. Thank you
We tought about it when designing and did some tests and thats something you don’t have to worry about. Its a 7.4 battery mostly around 2k mAh, the max power consumption of the camera is still way less than what the battery could output so the heat produced is really small.
Still looking for a good deal for the camera. How much does a decent monitor cost? I couldn’t find any information about your diy monitor. Keep up the great work.
Yeah getting harder to come by. I just got a viltrox dc550 and whilst it's chunky....it's fantastic. Unfortunately our monitor isn't a good fit for Blackmagic cams. It works great with every other brand but Blackmagics have a little issue that a basic monitor can't overcome.
I’m currently rehousing a cellphones internals with its 1” sensor and turning it into a box style cinema camera using MotionCam. Tilt screen and a custom USB adapter for I/O - audio and HDMI output. My next project might be rehousing a broken iPhone 14 with a similar setup. Believe it or not, I found an old film camera with auto-focus and a zoom lens. After tearing it down I found a speedbooster glass in the telephoto lens. I’m going to see how it works with the 1” sensor and EOS-M.
I hadn't commented on this when it came out, but just wanted to say this is a very interesting mod kit. I kind of wish there was an internal cable/wire management holder for a NPF to LP-E6 adapter cable to reside in. Perhaps if it existed behind the side plates. That way there isn't a wire between the two. Personally I was hopping this was going to go the route of the Cheesey Cam mode where the back had an integrated NPF to LP-E6 system, but that clearly would have driven up the price. This mode kit definitely interests me to a degree, but it won't really integrate well with my existing smallrig cage. So the thing I'm most interested in is the OLPF. I can't wait for that.
Hey Billy, yes this won't work with the Smallrig cage as you rightly pointed out. Cages weren't available for such a long time and they were also very expensive. The only option G1 & G2 owners have right now is XLCS which is a quality product. We just want maximum affordability, quick to install and no complex parts. Rigging with a cage is absolutely fine and would be better in some cases but can easily drive up the price. We know that it won't be for everyone....that's impossible but we're truly happy with what this kit can do. The funny thing is, we got 2 cages with 2 of the micro's but I sold them because I don't like the size, weight and makes it harder to get to the buttons.
@@AltcineIt's all cool, and honestly I'm happy there is a resurgence in attention to the micros thanks in part to the new micro studio 4k g2. I personally and using a One little remote light along with it's expansion port breakout box. Between the two I have access to all major functions at my finger tips, bluetooth control of both the camera and various aspects of some MFT lenses, and I have access to the LANC port and use the URSA handle. I never managed to get a power solution that made me happy. The two that interested me the most were the RADIOPROEKTOR and the Mr Cheesycam variant. Sadly both were out of production by the time I was ready to buy them, and I was to uncomfortable building a cheesycam mod on my own. I was hoping this back was going to work for me, but what I really want is something that adapts the LPE6 to a battery in as short a distance as possible and is compatible with my cage so that when I throw it on a gimbal it isn't going to wack the rear motor as it swings, and keeps the over all shape elegant and clean. ;) Given you have the OG micro cinema camera there still is the CGPRO remote as an alternative way to control the camera from a distance, but they aren't as clean as the one little remotes were.
@@billyoung9538 definitely all good brother and it's good to hear from other micro users and how they adapt rigs. I could listen to you all day on solutions....I know it's just a camera but I love to shoot, it's when the camera becomes a chore that I don't want to shoot. I'm actually thinking about making a new breakout box at some point but we will see. I'm having one of micro's completely rebuilt into a proper cine cam and like you, I'll use the Ursa grip. Thanks for all the insights and I will definitely look up the box's you mentioned. The only reason it might take long is because I'm only producing the stuff I need so it's not a business/money thing but let's see.
@@Altcine I'd try to share more info with potentially helpful links, but it seems they are getting blocked or removed from youtube. Anyhow RADIOPROEKTOR has an ARRI style rosette that I think should fit the XLCS cage front bottom right as it seems to be very similar to the smallrig cage I have in that area. That's what I use to hold the URSA handle.

@@annebokma4637 thanks man, I appreciate that. These are cheap enough to have a couple so it's a no brainer to have a couple of options. Will definitely keep the internal hub idea in the list.
Hey there! We are definitely going to look into the USB Hub idea. Please note that it may not a good idea to connect anything like this to the camera itself. The port on the G2 is designed for mainly external recording options and anything like a hub or even longer cables will effect the write speed or the compatibility.
@@simon-altcinecam of course short cables. But a hub shouldn't be a problem. On the BMD site they say you can connect Ethernet USB adapter to the camera in order to use ftp to get files of the SSD connected to the camera. And since the camera has 1 USB port they can only do that with a Hub. I got confirmation from another channel (will von Tagen) where he used hub to connect SSD and a BMD zoom control. This will open the camera up to being installed in harder to reach places and use Ethernet for file retrieval and control, and never have to get the SSD detached from the camera. Really appreciate your replies 👍 didn't realize that response was from Simon, congrats on this great idea and the gear y'all made. Dude I love this! Thanks so much for taking the time to make this. Im about to order two sets. Looking foward to getting the OLPF when that comes out!
Thank you Ethan, I'm really glad you like it. OLPF is released tonight 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I have been waiting, Oh so long for this expansion Kit. I have already pre-ordered two of them Thanks. Keep up the good work.
Chris, that means so much to us man, feeling very blessed right now reading this.
Prepare to get a lot of stares in public 😅

Love that people are noticing your hard work. Well designed look for sure
I appreciate that! Thank you
I purchased this Expansion pack for my G2, after watching this vid.
Very cool.
Hey Joel, thank you bro. Much appreciated
What you guys are doing is awesome. 🌞 respect ✊ Looking forward to the OLPF for my OG.
Thank you. Yeah won't be long for those .
You guys have done a really really great job on this! great work, I know how hard it is to design and produce camera gear.
10/10 thoughtfulness, structure and creativity in the design 👌
Thank you so much, this means a lot that you recognise what went into this.
This looks slick, when you started talking about looks of the camera being important I was almost going to disagree with you…but when I remember my BMMCC rig it was properly ghetto! Yours look ace and a really fair price for all the work you’ve put in. Almost wish I still had my micro…😢
Yeah it's hard to get these looking slick. If Blackmagic sorted out buttons and a slightly better design I think these would be a hit.

Thank you so much. Yeah it's low but I seriously think about how much I would love to see a mod for a decent price that's actually useable. I think if it makes me excited then I'm sure it's the same for others. As long as we can cover production costs with a few bucks spare for more projects then it's all good.

Very neat! What about the missing SD Card in the G2? The slot in you teased before seemed really cool, any updates on that?

This is really cool. If you and your team were to ever make a cine box for the new Blackmagic Camera Full Frame, I would pay for it. Love the camera but hate the design (but not for the reason that everyone thinks lol)
Ahhh them cams are too funky man, the thing would probably end up the size of a tank lol
Whats the reason why you hate it?

I like what you have going, what I don't see is how to connect the recording media to the back
The original micro cinema camera records to an SD Card, the G2 record to external SSD’s like like T5 Samsung ones that you can mount to the back or to the side with the adapters that you can get for them.
Awesome dude! Love the growing interest for expansion packs. I run a Sony Fx30 any interest in mods for that camera?

I am following this project very closely but I was wondering if you had considered adding camera controls/ buttons to your expansion? When the Micro Cinema Camera came out people were making their own rudimentary control boxes. One of them I saw was really tiny and looked really neat. Seems like your expansion could fit the wiring, and go in place of one of those side panels. I'd be all over it if you did that.
Hi, yes we have considered that and can do it. We just need to gauge interest first though 👍🏾
@@Altcine Well put me down as very interested! Thanks. Love the work.
@@Laboratory_films awesome and thank you. Really appreciate it man
A best VIDEO camera format is a camcorder, not a SLR shape.
Amazing work guys!
Glad you like it!
I love this! I have been wanting to get back to using Blackmagic but the size has been putting me off as I am now using Canon (Insurance payout didn't cover my stolen 6K to get another one)
Been considering the Micro but the issue was how can I rig it and boom! I find this video the price also is great, now to purchase a Micro G2 haha
Thank you but Damn man, you had your 6k stolen! Why didn't they pay out?
Great job. Agreed the SLR's are grt lenses.
Thank you Phil. Yes I bought the 12mm hyperprime and instantly fell in love and bought the whole set of microprimes 🙈

Awesome man. The handles are made by Nitze for monitors & smartphone rigs but are perfect for small cams like the micro.
They're available on Amazon & AliExpress
@@Altcine Cheers and much appreciated
That's the kind of rig size/compact camera I'm looking for a run and gun shooting and documentaries projects. As a user of BMD since the first camera, this setup makes me want to sell my BMPCC 6K Pro for this.
Youssef, I totally hear you man. It's what a lot of us have been after for quite some time so you're not alone.
Now if Blackmagic could just do something with the 4k & 6k then I would happily put this down and buy one.
@@Altcine Indeed! By curiosity, how much this rig weight?
@Altcine do you have a link for the MPF plate you are using in this demo?

@@Altcinethank you!
Can you dm me on Instagram @altcinecam so we can talk properly.
So you mean it is compatible with the old one as well?! Amazing!
Yeah, it was actually designed for the old one as that's my favourite....the image is wonderful. It just so happens that the G2 is pretty much the same so it will fit. Thank you
The custom backpack is nice idea but I'm concerning battery heat dissipation.
We tought about it when designing and did some tests and thats something you don’t have to worry about. Its a 7.4 battery mostly around 2k mAh, the max power consumption of the camera is still way less than what the battery could output so the heat produced is really small.
Yes, as Simon said.... everything is tested. During the prototyping stage I use them every day, everywhere for this very reason.
@@Altcine appreciate it, I’ll check it out.
I’m so hyped for this project
Thank you mate
also with a litle mod you can add extra buttons to it and transfer the controls to a side pannel
We're leaving that for phase 2 & 3 😁
Are you using those "Tracking cameras" doing this video? There was in 15:08 camera movement when you pressed button.
Yes that's right, the obsbot air. Really handy for moving the camera around.
@@billyoung9538 yeah I had to turn off links because I ran a giveaway and some crooks posted a link and told people they'd won.
I'll look that up for sure
Do all the phases add together? I really regret getting into this too late for the M-lite. My EOS M sure could use that mod! I've been thinking about the Black Magic 4k lately. I guess I'll have to look at the G2
Hey, no they're separate. Filmatura are releasing the m-lite again though
Bmpcc4k user here. Love this! Would use the Micro but the menu.....
Thanks man. Yeah the menu is a bit of a bummer. Tbh the whole camera could do with a redesign.
Thank you sir for the work you guys do. im buying one of these for sure
That is so good to hear. We really appreciate everyone who's supporting this little mod movement 🙏🏾
I’m shooting Sony, but enjoy your work and videos. Best of luck 👍
Thank you brother, really appreciate that . I'm a Sony shooter too....tbh I shoot everything 😅
Can you integrate an usb hub with three outputs? That way I can connect network, ssd and a control. Dont know if multiple ssd are supported but an extra port never hurt 😎
Already thinking of buying the g2. This seals the deal allready. Great work and amazing value. I really expected it to be over 200.. amazing 😎👍 if you update it after I buy one I will buy again
Hi mate, thanks man. It's possible to add a usb hub...I'll talk to Simon about it but if it was possible that would be waaaaay down the line 😅
@@Altcine like I said, as soon as I buy the G2 I will order whatever version you are selling. If you bring out a new version with upgrades I could use I will buy it and keep the older version for backup.. thnx for replying, brilliant.. looking forward to the other videos..
Especially for (re)starting in video and only starting with one camera, this is a great way to quickly adapt configuration got specific use cases.
And I still can't get over the price you realized 😁👍
Brilliant... food for thought!
Bro as you say it AMAZING!!!
Thank you so much 😀
