Enjoyed this programme once again. A listener in 2020 .... still listening in 2024. And every week I am delighted to hear some new to me, amazing music. Thank you Richard for all the joy.
Hello from Winnipeg, Canada. I happened upon your channel on RUclips and very happy that I found it. I've grown up with singing many of these hymns for past 53 years singing in my Anglican church choir. I also sing in a men's liturgical choir 'All the King's Men' that has made several trips to England to sing the daily services in many of your great cathedrals. The sound of the organ in your videos in those beautiful ancient churches and cathedrals takes me back there. I love the way the play the hymns; great registration, pace and sensitivity. Keep up the beautiful work.
I enjoyed all the music, I particularly enjoyed your playing of the Hallelujah Chorus.
I am loving every bit of it,thank you for the video and thank God for you, continue to be blessed.❤😊
Very great performance. Thank you for your dexterity
That same well loved straight forward music is also put to the hymn “I Love Thy Kingdom Lord” That is also one my favorites that I enjoy immensely playing.
Another new VC find for me! Loving it...as I multi task, writing some book reviews! But the joy is, I listen & am inspired now; AND I can listen & watch many times to be inspired again by your beautiful music & commentary. Thank you & blessings...
"Failed Italian-Irish Roman Catholic Christian" from Chicago, as a child I admired our church inner architecture which inspired my exciting engineering career which lately in a quandary thinking about retirement. Moreover, I also had admired our church organist Lawrence who often gave me piano sheet music of popular 80's pop songs, few times playing right there on the organ, after mass was over of course. The orchestration and multi-limbed performance from a performer of a single instrument; and emotional doses from such movies as Goonies, Rollerball, and John Williams' scores for the Star Wars and Indiana Jones series, have made the sounds from this instrument tops for me. You do a stellar job of playing and interface for the camera, and if ever there's a sequel to Princess Bride I hope you are summoned for a major role, sir.

I LOVED your playing, "Let My People GO"! It is so visual & dramatic! It is usually sung by a strong alto voice in my parish during the Easter Vigil service. It is SO powerful! Thank you, for your organ rendition!
Its Wonderfull and fantastic...thanks for make all of song so increadible🙏🙏
I like the overhead view of the camera. A nice addition.
Thanks again
Thank You for the Beautiful Video !
Wonderful job playing. I would say you’re following in the foot steps of Peter Hurford.
A request from Yuma, Arizona in the colonies. Please play "The sheep can safely graze'
Watching from Newfoundland Canada. Loving this video. I'm playing an Estey Reed Organ along with you on some pieces.
Greetings from Sheffield. I have only recently come across your channel and I’m dead chuffed to meet you. I have also looked up your fascinating CV. Having clocked up 66 years in the business, 35 here in Sheffield, I soon realised at first hearing that there was more to the organ than meets the eye. (I have a real Viscount in my lounge). Now I have the full on view of it I’m blown away. Snippets: I heard Noel Rawsthorne at Ranmoor around 25 years ago. The tune ‘Monmouth’ is notoriously tricky, they change the rhythm with every new edition of the hymnal. Your comments on the goings on at the cathedral are well received. It’s like a bad dream you think will go away when you wake up. The Dean’s going gives me hope - Neil Taylor got the choir so good. I have a hefty RUclips playlist on Sundays but will definitely try to keep topped up with fantastic playing. Your intimate presentation means I can see the wheels going round in your head. Utterly fabulous. I would like to hear ‘Glorious things ...’ but to the tune ‘Lux eoi’. Abbots Leigh is a fine tune but becoming universal.
Many, many thanks.
I was told that A Mighty Fortress Is our God....was known as the Lutheran National Anthem.
Parabéns.
Thanks again for playing St Patrick's Breastplate. That particular transcription is in the Scottish Psalter and Church Hymnary Version 2.
schitterend wat mooi .wat kan die organist spelen
Tuba tune
Can you play for me he was wounded for me song by Presbyterian church thanks
What is the tune at 1:26:00? Sounds like Westlife's You Raise me Up
@@gerdavanloo-vogelzang9065 yes, it really stuck out for me!
Is it too early to give suggestions for a Christmas song? :D
Great, thrilling hymn playing. But sorry, no, none of those renditions of "Ein feste Burg" were the original by Luther - the original is a jazzy rhythmic rendition. Look it up and shock your British audience!
